The Courier (MHA)

Chapter 2: New World, Same Shit (2)

"I don't know my real name." I started with the truth since I could tell the animal in front of me had quite a lot of power. "I go by Courier Six since that's all I could piece together about my past. As for where I'm from, you wouldn't believe me."

"We've seen people from all walks of life," Aizawa said sleepily, "Nothing you say can surprise us."

"I am not from this world," I told them and they didn't believe me from the looks on their faces. 'Well, seeing is believing.' I thought before pulling out a Fission battery, a Deathclaw hand, and a functioning Lazer rifle. "These are a Fission battery, a claw of a creature called a Deathclaw, and a Lazer rifle. All from another world." I told them while pointing at each item in succession. "Do with them what you may, but this is just some proof that I'm not from this world."

"I see," Nezu spoke up, "Well, I for one can tell there is no creature like this on this planet, quirk or not." He said as he eyed the claw with slight fear I could see in his eyes.

"Lazer weaponry doesn't exist. "Aizawa started as he eyed the laser rifle. To which I picked it up, set it to low power, and shot it at the wall. It left a black hole that one could see right through.

"Now," I said picking up the battery, "Need I go on?" With a slight head tilt.

"No, you made your point," Nezu said as he poured himself some tea. "I rather not find out what you plan to do with that to prove you're not from this world. Now, the question is what to do with you. You have no ID and no way of knowing the current times, and the status quo." He said as he took a sip of his tea. "In short, you're a liability to the current times. A liability that we can't let you wander without supervision. You might just kill the wrong person and start a war."

"Like you have any idea what a war is like." I scoffed and told them. "War isn't like anything you know. It's not about who wins or loses. It's about who's left and how they saw the war."

"Very true." Nezu agreed with me. "I just have one question."

"What is it?" I asked.

"What are your skills?" He asked and I had a vague idea of what he wanted from me.

"What are you looking for?" I asked in return.

.

'I can't fucking believe it...' I thought as I followed a disgruntled Aizawa. 'I got swindled into teaching... Cass would lose her shit if she found out.'

"Get used to it," Aizawa spoke up, somehow reading my thoughts. "I was the same. I got swindled into teaching due to that creature's incredible talent for seeing talent."

"Do you regret it?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"The pay is good if that's what your asking."

"Fair enough," I said, knowing that was as far as I was going to get with my charisma.

.

We continued to walk for a few minutes, passing by the random cleaning robots as we did so. I kept track of where we went via my [Pip-boy]. This damn place was a maze. But that was beside the point. I was now stuck as a teacher in a new world filled with superpowers from comic books. If I met another wack job believing they're some sort- wait. Never mind that I got the feeling I'm gonna met one of those wack jobs. Why is it that I meet the weirdest people?

And I was immediately correct.

After we rounded a corner, we met with a teen that looked like the Vault-Tec mascot just buffer. Aziawa apparently knew him and just nodded his head, the teen just smiled and waved in return. I just nodded my head in a polite greeting before following Aizawa again. Not long after, we came to a massive door with a sign above it saying Teacher's office.

Aizawa didn't miss a beat and opened the door with one hand and gestured for me to enter. Stepping past him, I entered the office with little to no care shown on my face but on the inside, I was ready for a fight. I could tell that Aizawa didn't fully trust me and I had a feeling that none of the teachers would trust me either.

Aaannnddd, I was right.

The instant that I stepped into that room, I had to roll away from the door as the cowboy teacher began to shoot at me. As I rolled away, I took notice that the other teachers in the room weren't doing anything to stop it. Sighing, I pulled out a [Flashbang] and tossed it after pulling the pin. As the grenade went off, I pulled out a [.357 Magnum Revolver] and shot the teacher's gun out of his hands using [VATS] or [Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System].

.

"You know that I carry." I deadpanned as I held my gun level at his masked face.

"Sorry son, just had to make sure you shot straight." The cowboy said as he pulled his mask out to rub his eyes. "Besides, they were rubber bullets. You weren't in any danger anyway, partner."

'Yea, I doubt that.' I thought. I knew they were rubber bullets the instant I activated [VATS]. Time slowed to a crawl when used it so I got a good look at them. 'I wouldn't put it past them to have had used real bullets.' I sighed. "Water under the bridge. Anyway, I doubt Nezu would like for fellow teachers to start murdering one another."

"Don't tell me you got hired by him!" The busty ravenette shouted.

"He was," Aizawa stated as he got into a bright yellow sleeping bag. "Meet the new survival and urban tactics teacher, Courier Six. Or Six for short. Go on and introduce yourselves."

.

The teachers looked at one another before shrugging and introducing themselves. So far I got to meet Midnight or Nemuri Kayama, Snipe, Present Mic, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Vlad King or Sekijiro Kan. Surprisingly, they didn't really care much about me except for the fact I kill those who come at me with the same intent. I could care less about that since they haven't experienced a real war. Hell, I doubt they had come into contact with someone that truly wanted to kill them.

But that wasn't why I was here now. My first job was to get to know the layout of the school and get to know the classes. After that, I had the rest of the day to myself before I would be shown to the teachers on sight dorms. And I got to say, the feeling I get from the school is that of a breeding ground for child soldiers. That feeling was only strengthened after I read through the class rosters and personal information. But that also gave me a light on how important this school was.

Among the students, some had powers that could easily destroy a city block. Others, well, they were there.

Seriously, how did this kid get into this school if he can pop balls off his head that are sticky?

Anyhow, as I gave the list of students a once over, a few caught my attention. A kid named Shoto with the power to create ice and fire in large amounts. Bakugou, a kid with the ability to sweat nitroglycerin. A girl by the name of Uraraka that could manipulate gravity. And finally, a girl by the name of Momo could create any non-living thing.

I sighed at how ridiculous some of these kids were. Some made sense, like the one with the tail. Relying on their body to fight. Others needed training from the ground up if they wanted to get anywhere in this world. The last ones needed to just drop out in favor of letting those with potential get the training they needed. But, I can't change that. Not yet at least.

.

Two days passed by in the blink of an eye for me. In those days, I learned how much teachers do behind the scenes. The amount of paperwork they had to go through for their classes was ridiculous. While there were outliers, like Aizawa who did his during the night, and Midnight that wrote double entendres in hers, most had normal activities that they did in their classes. Snipe, thankfully, helped me out with planning for my classes. And in a few minutes, it was my first class with Aizawa supervising.

.

"Remember, no shooting the children," Aizawa told me as he guided me to my class. "As annoying as they are, no shooting the children. "

"Quick question, is scaring them allowed?" I asked as I planned for my introduction to them.

"As long as they can be heroes, anything is allowed."

"Got it," I said as I pulled out a [Sawed-off shotgun] and loaded bean-bag rounds into it.

"As long as they're not maimed or killed, I don't care," Aizawa said as he figured out my idea.

"Don't worry, they're in safe hands," I told him as I flicked the shotgun closed.

.

As we came to a door that easily could fit Lily twice over, I stopped Aizawa from opening the door. I got in front of him and readied my shotgun. With one hand on the door and the other holding the [Sawed-off shotgun], I was ready for my entrance. And it would be one to remember. I even got something to make sure they shit themselves.

.

"So, who do you think our new instructor is?" Asked a red-haired boy with sharp teeth.

"Don't know, but hopefully they're good at their job." Said a girl with purple hair.

"I hope it's a woman with big-" A ball-headed boy spoke before getting slapped by a frog-like girl's tongue.

"Shut up, Mineta *Kero*." The frog girl spoke evenly.

"Well, I for one, hope that whoever teaches us will be the epitome of what it means to be a Hero!" A robot-like teen with glasses shouted. "Now every, to your seats!"

"Ida, your the only one out of their seat *Kero*."

"So sorry!" Ida shouted and bowed his head repeatedly before he rushed to his seat.

.

Just as he did so, the door slide open to reveal Aiawa looking around left and right as if he was looking for something or someone. The class was confused as they watched him enter the classroom looking for whatever he was looking for. Then suddenly the window opened, scaring the class as it banged open. As the class and Aizawa looked toward the windows, they missed a shimmer appearing behind Mineta.

Then, BOOM

A gunshot went off inside the room making everyones' ears ring.

.

"Nobody move!" A voice shouted out behind them, where the gunshot came from. "The first person that does will get buckshot into their chest!"

.

Naturally, everyone and Aizawa turned around. Eliciting a sigh from the one who shouted. Who they saw shocked them. There, standing behind Mineta, was someone they haven't seen since the USJ incident. Standing at about 185cm wearing an armored duster with dark cargo pants and armored boots. Held in his hand was a sawed-off double-barreled shotgun with a smoking barrel.

.

"You know, I'm a man of my word." The figure said before randomly picking one of the students and firing the other barrel at the red-haired boy.

.

The redhead had time to activate his Quirk but it didn't help as the beanbag round smashed into his chest. The others gasped and readied their quirks for battle. Only for Aizawa to act before them all and charge at the figure. The figure looked at him and dodged several strikes before calmly catching Aizawa's fist.

.

"Relax," The figure spoke up as he stopped Aizawa's rush. "It was a beanbag round. The kid should be fine, probably." He said. "Hey Red, you okay?"

"I'll... be... okay..." The redhead weased as he stood on shaky legs. "...ow...."

"See?" The figure asked, "He's fine, just a little bruised."

"I said, no maiming the children."
