Chapter 7: Missing Person Posters
Victoria and Viola exchanged a relieved glance, hoping their deception would hold. Mr. Morgan his spouse as he walked further into the house, taking in the extravagant gifts with a bemused expression.
" You know, I always thought Ariana would be the one to attract such attention, given that Mr Drake doesn't look for ...." he mused, his tone bittersweet. " It's a shame she is not here to see this happening.
Victoria's heart clenched at the mention of Ariana. She quickly changed the subject. " Why don't you sit down and rest, dear? You must be exhausted from your trip and you already look pale " She stated in a soothing voice.
Mr. Morgan nodded, letting the matter of the gifts drop for the moment. He sank into an armchair, looking around the familiar room with a tired smile. " It's good to be home," he said softly.
Victoria moved to his side, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. " We have missed you, so much. " Victoria her wife stated
" Can you get me some water? I feel thirsty, and I wish to quench my thirst," Morgan stated before Victoria headed to the kitchen before
Viola approached her mother, sensing her distress.
" Mom, are you okay? " she asked gently.
Victoria nodded, though her expression was strained. " I'm just worried, Viola. About everything. With these lies... it's all so much. I think we should tell him the truth." Victoria stated.
Viola hugged her mother tightly. " We will find a way through this, Mom. We have to. And Mr. Drake will help us find that ..... I mean Ariana." Viola stated, her voice barely a whisper.
Victoria sighed, leaning into her daughter's embrace. " I hope you are right, Viola. I really do. " Victoria stated.
The next morning, Mr. Morgan was up early, eager to learn more about the mysterious Mr. Drake and his interest in Sarah. He made his way to the kitchen, where Victoria was already preparing breakfast.
" Morning, " he greeted, peering over her shoulder at the array of dishes she was arranging.
" Morning ," Victoria replied, forcing a smile.
" Is Sarah joining us for breakfast? " Mr. Morgan asked casually, though his tone was laced with curiosity.
Victoria hesitated, glancing toward the hallway. " I am not sure. She might still be resting. "
At that moment, Sarah walked in, dressed in a modest robe, looking far less provocative than the previous evening. She flashed a bright smile at her parents, trying to play along with the charade.
" Good morning," she chirped, moving to pour herself a cup of coffee.
" Morning, Sarah ," Mr. Morgan said, his eyes narrowing slightly. " I hear Mr. Was Drake here yesterday? "
Sarah nodded, maintaining her cheerful facade. " Yes, he was. It was quite a surprise. "
Mr. Morgan studied her for a moment before nodding. " Well, I am glad you are attracting such attention. He is quite a catch." Mr Morgan stated.
Sarah smiled, though inwardly she was seething. She had never wanted to be part of this lie, but now she had no choice. " Thank you, Dad."
The conversation turned to other topics, and for a while, the tension eased. But Victoria couldn't shake the feeling that their deception was a ticking time bomb, waiting to explode.
Meanwhile, Mr. Drake was deep in preparations to begin his search for Ariana. He met with his team, outlining their strategy and assigning tasks. His mind was focused, but he couldn't completely forget the encounter with Sarah. Her seductive charm had been a distraction he had not anticipated.
As he reviewed the plan with his assistant, James, he could not help but replay the morning's events in his mind. The urgency of finding Ariana was paramount, but he knew he had to be wary of any further distractions.
"James, make sure we have all the resources we need," Mr. Drake instructed. "This search needs to be thorough and efficient. We can't afford any mistakes."
"Understood, sir," James replied, noting down the instructions.
Mr. Drake sighed, his determination renewed. He couldn't let anything stand in his way, not Sarah, not his own doubts. Ariana needed him, and he would do whatever it took to find her.
Back at the Morgan mansion, the atmosphere remained tense. Mr. Morgan's curiosity about Mr. Drake lingered, but he tried to push it aside, focusing instead on reconnecting with his family after his trip.
Victoria and Viola did their best to maintain the facade, but the strain was beginning to show. They both knew that the longer they kept up the lie, the harder it would be to keep everything from falling apart.
That evening, as the family gathered for dinner, Mr. Morgan couldn't help but bring up the topic again. "So, Sarah, have you spoken to Mr. Drake since his visit?"
Sarah shook her head, keeping her tone casual. "No, not yet. I'm sure he's busy with his work."
Mr. Morgan nodded, though his expression remained thoughtful. "I suppose so. He is a very influential man."
Victoria quickly changed the subject, steering the conversation away from dangerous space. But the tension was palpable, a constant reminder of the secrets they were keeping.
As night fell, Victoria and Viola found themselves alone in the living room, the weight of their deception heavy on their minds.
"Mom, do you think we can keep this up?" Viola asked quietly, her eyes filled with worry.
Victoria sighed, her heart aching with uncertainty. "I don't know, Viola. I really don't. But we have to try. For Ariana's sake."
Viola nodded, her resolve strengthening. "We will make it work. Somehow, we will make it work." Viola stated.
Meanwhile, Mr. Drake was finalizing the last details of his plan. He knew the search for Ariana wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to succeed. As he looked over the documents and maps spread out before him, his thoughts kept drifting back to the Morgan mansion, to the worried faces of Victoria and Viola, and to the seductive charm of Sarah.
He shook his head, focusing on the task at hand. There was no room for distraction. Ariana needed him, and he couldn't let anything, not even his own feelings, get in the way.
As the night deepened, the Morgan family and Mr. Drake each faced their struggles, their paths intertwined by secrets and lies. The search for Ariana was just beginning, and the challenges they faced would test their resolve and their strength in ways they could never have imagined.

Early the next morning, the house was quiet, the calm before the storm. Suddenly, a shriek pierced the silence. Sarah came running down the stairs, her phone clutched in her hand, her face pale with shock.
" Mom! Mommy! You have to see this! " she screamed, her voice breaking with panic.
Victoria and Mr. Morgan her father rushed to the living room, their hearts pounding. Viola followed closely, her eyes wide with fear.
" What is it, Sarah? " Mr. Morgan demanded, trying to stay calm.
Sarah thrust her phone toward them, her hands shaking. On the screen were pictures of Ariana, her face plastered all over social media. She was in various locations, looking distressed and unkempt, clearly taken without her knowledge.
Mr. Morgan's face turned crimson with anger. " What the hell is this? How did these get out? "
Victoria's hand flew to her mouth, her eyes filling with tears. " Oh my God, Ariana..."
Mr. Morgan couldn't contain his rage. He stormed toward the door, his fists clenched. " I'm going to find out who did this and make them pay!"
" Dad, wait!" Viola called after him, but he was already out the door, slamming it behind him.
Victoria collapsed onto the couch, her body shaking with sobs. "This is a nightmare. How could this happen?"
Viola sat beside her, wrapping her arms around her mother. "We'll find her, Mom. We have to."
Sarah stood there, her heart pounding. She had hoped that exposing the truth would bring relief, but instead, it had only brought more pain and chaos. She didn't know what to do, and the guilt gnawed at her insides.
---
Mr. Morgan drove recklessly, his mind a whirlwind of anger and fear. He couldn't believe that someone would exploit his daughter like this, and he was determined to find out who was behind it. His phone rang, and he answered it without looking at the caller ID.
"Who is this?" he barked.
"Mr. Morgan, it's James. Mr. Drake's assistant. We've seen the photos, and we're already on it. We'll find Ariana."
Mr. Morgan's grip on the steering wheel tightened. "You better. And if you do, I want the bastards who did this to suffer."
"Understood, sir. We will keep you updated."
Mr. Morgan ended the call and sped up, his mind focused on one thing: finding Ariana and making those responsible pay.
---
Back at the mansion, Victoria, Viola, and Sarah sat in stunned silence, the weight of the situation pressing down on them. The phone rang, and Victoria answered it with a trembling hand.
"Hello?"
"Victoria, it's Mr. Drake. I've seen the photos. I'm so sorry this is happening. We're doing everything we can to find her."
Victoria choked back a sob. "Thank you, Mr. Drake. Please find her. We're so scared."
"We will. I promise."
Victoria hung up, her heart heavy with fear and uncertainty. She looked at her daughters, her eyes filled with determination. "We have to stay strong. For Ariana." viola nodded,
