The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 951 951: The Demon God's Mortal Nemesis

Having triumphed over two colossal beasts, Cassie, Flint, and Scarlet pressed on with their dangerous journey. Their destination: the foreboding Valley of the Unknown. It loomed before them as the final threshold they had to traverse on their quest to reach the Sacred Place. Little did they know that another ominous danger awaited them at this treacherous border.

In the previous two borders, they faced different trials and challenges along the way, testing their courage. Cassie and Flint remained steadfast and fearless. They were both determined to achieve their goal, holding the hope that the Sacred Place could bless Flint with supernatural power.

However, according to Scarlet's story, the Valley of the Unknown was notorious for its mysteries, and legends spoke of ancient curses and eerie apparitions that lurked within its shadowed depths. This journey was not for the faint of heart, and each step they took was a testament to their unyielding determination.

"Flint, how is your wound?" Cassie was asking him from time to time. She was worried that Flint would suddenly collapse during their journey.

"Don't worry about me. I'm not going to die here. We will survive," Flint tried to encourage and reassure her, his voice filled with confidence. Besides, the giant spider thread had proven effective in healing his wound.

Cassie couldn't help but giggle at Flint's newfound confidence. It seemed like he had fully regained his energetic and determined self. Meanwhile Scarlet continued to run as she was carrying Cassie and Flint on her back, her hooves pounding against the eerie, luminous terrain.

"Master, be watchful of our surroundings. I can sense evil energy nearby." Scarlet warned them.

"Understood. I'm observing our surroundings." Cassie focused her attention back on their path.

Cassie, Flint, and Scarlet knew that the dangers they had faced so far were but a prelude to what lay ahead. The valley beckoned with an eerie, ethereal beauty, its landscape ever-changing and unpredictable. It was a place where the very rules of nature seemed to be in flux, where the line between reality and illusion blurred, and where the unknown held sway.

As they advanced further into the valley, they could feel an eerie stillness in the air, broken only by the occasional whisper of a breeze that seemed to carry with it the echoes of forgotten voices. The trio steeled themselves for whatever awaited them, knowing that the most formidable challenges still lay ahead.

With each step they took, they drew upon their collective strength and resolve, their trust in one another unwavering. The Valley of the Unknown may have been foreboding, but it was also a crucible that would test their bond and determination like never before.

It did not take long when they finally reached the center of the valley. The place was an enigma, with peculiar flora and fauna that seemed to defy the laws of nature. The air crackled with an unsettling energy, and the distant horizon was etched in an ethereal, silvery glow. The very ground beneath their feet radiated an eerie luminescence, casting an unsettling, surreal ambiance over the landscape.

But their focus was not on the enigmatic surroundings; it was fixed on a dark figure looming ahead. Scarlet stopped abruptly and Cassie moved in a protective stance. Her first instinct was to shield Flint from possible harm.

A witch, her form draped in tattered, shadowy robes, stood in their path. Her eyes gleamed with malevolence, and her skeletal fingers were adorned with ancient runes. She had summoned unnatural forces to guard her in this forsaken valley.

"THE EVIL WITCH!" Scarlet screamed as soon as she recognized the woman blocking their path.

Cassie and Flint jumped off from Scarlet's back, facing the witch.

"Who is she?" Cassie inquired, her curiosity piqued as she turned to Scarlet for answers. The witch's face remained shrouded in mystery, concealed beneath the hood of her ominous, dark cloak, rendering her identity unknown.

"She's your grandfather's mortal nemesis," Scarlet explained solemnly, her voice filled with the weight of history. "The two of them engaged in an epic battle that raged on for fifty long years. This evil witch held an unrelenting grudge against the demon god because he defeated her. We thought she died. It turned out she was trapped here in the Valley of Unknown."

As the words left Scarlet's lips, the gravity of the animosity that had spanned generations became palpable. The clash between the demon god and the witch was not merely a battle; it was a competition for who was the strongest supernatural being in that world.

"Master, we must flee and avoid confronting her directly. She possesses immense strength. Your grandfather battled her for fifty years before emerging victorious!" Scarlet's voice quivered with both fear and concern.

"I recognize you firefox! Where is your master?!" The witch spoke up with a cold sharp tone.

Scarlet didn't respond to her. Instead, she faced Cassie and told her to run as she would buy time for them. "Master, flee now with Flint. I'll fight her."

After saying that, Scarlet breathed fire, creating an inferno of her own, as she circled the witch, her loyalty to Cassie unwavering. The witch started to cast chant and spell to counter Scarlet's attack. The valley echoed with the crescendo of magical clashes and the roar of the Firefox.

Amidst the intense clash between Scarlet and the Evil Witch, Flint seized Cassie's hand with urgency. "Let's go," he implored.

Cassie, however, remained resolute, firmly planted in her position. She gently shook her head, her determination unwavering. "I can't leave Scarlet here all alone," she declared, her voice tinged with concern. "Her opponent is formidable, and she might not survive. I must aid her.

You must continue to the Sacred Place." Cassie pointed her finger toward the direction of their destination, where the entrance gate stood as a beacon of hope.

Deep within her thoughts, Cassie held a steadfast resolve. "Flint needs to obtain his power," she contemplated, "and, at the very least, he can escape this perilous realm through the exit located within the Sacred Place." She was willing to make a profound sacrifice, risking her own safety to ensure Flint's success.
