The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 941 941: Zhen-Zhen's Old Enemies

Myrene glanced at the potion. She was reluctant to accept it but she didn't want her mother to be upset.

"What is this potion, Mom?" Myrene asked her mother. She didn't know what would be the effect once Christian drank this potion.

"A poison… We have to move now, my daughter. We can't stay here in this world. We have to go back soon. The war is still ongoing…" Myrene's mother reminded her.

At first, Myrene didn't want to do this but after hearing the story about how her mother suffered under the hands of the demon god's daughter, she agreed on doing this revenge together with her mother.

"Your father is waiting for us in the other world."

Myrene could only look down, tightening her grip on the bottle. "Okay, mother. I understand."

"I'm going to bed now…" Myrene kissed her mother on the forehead before going to her room. She felt disheartened. She wanted to make friends with Christian and others, but she had a mission to fulfill… for her mother's sake.

Meanwhile, her mother went outside the balcony as if she was waiting for someone. She looked at the night sky. She couldn't wait to see Zhen-Zhen suffer. What would she feel if one of the twins would die? She would like Zhen-Zhen to beg. No one could satiate her hatred towards Zhen-Zhen.

'The demon god's daughter… must suffer a hundred fold…' she thought to herself.

She was still lost in her own thoughts when someone suddenly hugged her from behind. "Mheera, I missed you!"

She was surprised to hear the voice of her husband, Calec. "What are you doing here? You were supposed to oversee the ongoing war in our world!" Mheera wasn't happy to see Calec at all.

"I have something to tell you regarding the demon god's daughter." Calec sat down next to her, grabbing her hand. He truly missed his wife.

On the other hand, Mheera became interested to hear Calec's update since it had something to do with the demon god's daughter, her mortal nemesis… the woman she loathed the most.

"What news do you have here?" Mheera's lips finally curled up as she glanced at him.

"I think Eric and Justine brought the demon god's daughter to our world. They sought her help to strengthen their force against our warriors."

Mheera's expression turned dark when she heard that. "So the demon god's daughter dares to help our enemies. How could she? I can smell hypocrisy here. How could she side with them? They are the same guardian warriors who were chasing after her before."

Mheera didn't like this turn of events. "I have to come back soon. But I will make sure that I will bring the lifeless body of her son. This will serve as my welcome gift to her… her dying son."

A sly smile appeared on her face, imagining the tragic reunion between Zhen-Zhen and Christian. She couldn't wait to see Zhen-Zhen mourn for the loss of her son. Myrene, her daughter, would be the key to this revenge plan.

"Go back to our world. Make sure to strengthen our forces and continue hunting down the opposite clan." Mheera gave Calec her command. Though Calec became the Leader of the Guardian Warriors, Mheera was still the one giving orders to him. Calec was like an obedient slave to his wife. He couldn't refuse whatever she would say.

"Okay, Mheera. I'm going back… but can I stay with you… just for tonight? I will go back tomorrow." Calec begged.

Mheera fell silent for a moment, just staring at him. Until now, she couldn't love Calec. Her heart was still the same. She loved Liam. And she hadn't forgotten about him.

She was just pretending because she needed Calec for her revenge. She had been using him and now she was using their daughter, Myrene. For Mheera, Calec and Myrene were just tools for her revenge. She didn't feel attached to any of them.

"Okay. You can stay here. Go and see your daughter. I guess she is missing you too." Mheera was already sending Calec away. She couldn't endure whenever Calec would act intimately with her.

Calec didn't want to leave her. She was the reason why he went to this world and personally delivered the update. But it looked like Mheera was avoiding him. He couldn't defy her so Calec just stood up, entering the house. He would greet his daughter.

Mheera felt relieved when Calec left her. She wanted to be alone. Whenever she would see Calec, Mheera would be reminded of Liam. She didn't know what happened to Liam. Aside from getting her revenge, she wanted to look for him, that's why she chose to come with Myrene.

"Is Liam alive? Did my curse work on him? Where is he?" Mheera clenched her chest.

Meanwhile, in the other world, the person Mheera was looking for was currently being treated by several healers. They were working together to break Mheera's curse.

Liam would be their other hope. They were hoping that he could help them stop the war among the guardian warriors.

Liam's condition was slowly improving according to the Healers. They were always informing Ella about the progress of Liam's condition.

"I can feel his power… I guess, our former guardian leader is going to wake up soon!" One healer blurted out cheerfully after the group finished their healing session.

"Let's call Ella. She can now enter this chamber and look after him." Another healer spoke up.

Soon, the group of healers left the chamber and Ella entered to check on Liam. She heard the good news from them so she excitedly approached Liam who was lying on the bed.

She grabbed his right hand and began talking to him. "You're doing great, Liam… Just hang on… and you will be able to wake up soon."

Ella touched his face, caressing his cheek using her thumb. She missed talking to her savior… her knight in shining armor.

"I guess… you will be surprised once you see me. I am no longer the crybaby Ella. I am a grown lady now. I bet you will not recognize me that easily." Ella giggled. She could already imagine Liam's reaction.

She was still talking to Liam when she felt a movement. She looked down only to see Liam's fingers move.

"OMG… Liam's fingers moved!!"
