The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

~ At Fiery Eagles Main Headquarters ~

After leaving the Training Camp, Justine headed straight to the Fiery Eagles Headquarters as per suggestion by Eleven. He would check their former guardian leader's condition.

Upon entering the headquarters, Justine searched for the location of the VIP ward. That ward was off-limits to other staff and members of Fiery Eagles. Only a selected few were allowed to enter that ward, including the Davis Family.

It took him twenty minutes before he was able to locate their former guardian leader and entered the VIP ward without getting caught by the roving guards.

It was already 2 o'clock in the morning so the majority of the medical and research staff were already resting in their respective sleeping quarters.

Justine managed to enter the ward without encountering any problem. He was still shocked to see their former guardian leader lying unconscious on the bed.

"Guardian Lord!" Justine called out, rushing in his direction. He was so glad that he finally found him.

Justine grabbed his former guardian leader's hand and kneeled beside his sickbed.

"Guardian Lord… my Aunt Riyu… she's dead. We failed to protect her. My Aunt defended you and the demon god's daughter. She was betrayed by her friends and her fellow guardian warriors. Guardian Lord… we need you." Justine's desperate voice reverberated inside the ward, tears threatening to fall from the corners of his eyes.

After a while, Justine gathered his emotions and stood up. He wiped his tears before he placed his two palms over Liam's forehead. A bright light started illuminating from his palms.

The lights scattered from Liam's head going to his body and feet. It was like a magical x-ray scanner. Justine was trying to examine Liam's health condition.

He was able to confirm it. There was a strong curse, an evil one, surrounding his body. This black force was preventing Liam from waking up.

But he could tell that their former guardian leader was fighting so hard to stay alive. Liam gathered his power, protecting his insides against the curse cast by Mheera.

"Guardian Lord, we will help you. The elders might know the solution to break the curse. We have to bring you back to our realm!" Justine declared.

Now that he finally found Liam, the only thing left to do was convince Cassie to come with them. They needed her help as well as her permission to bring Liam back.

Besides, they couldn't guarantee Liam's safety if they would go back without Cassie, or the demon god's daughter. And the real problem was that the demon god's daughter was not around. And they didn't know when she would come back together with her husband, Tristan.

"We are running out of time!" Justine clenched his fists as he thought of his clan who was left behind from the other realm.

"I should go back now to the Training Camp and share this information with Eleven. I have to talk to Cassie tomorrow." Justine had no choice but to pressure Cassie as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, in the Training Camp, Flint also received a special call from Zero. He was surprised that the mysterious leader of the Fiery Eagles called him at this hour. Everyone should be sleeping at this hour.

Though Christian hated Flint for hurting Cassie's feelings, he had no choice but to ask for his help. He was the only person who could take on this task.

"Master Zero, is there a problem? I believe this is an urgent call coming from you." Flint asked Zero, aka Christian. He was very direct and he didn't let Zero intimidate him.

"I have an important mission for you," Christian responded with seriousness in his voice.

"What is it, Master?" Flint respectfully asked him again.

"You must keep your eyes on Applicant 0018. You have to watch her every movement, twenty-four seven. She is a troublemaker!"

Flint: "..."

Flint was rendered speechless when he heard that. He had never imagined that Cassie would also gain Zero's attention! He even noticed that Cassie was a troublemaker.

This made Flint become more amazed about their mysterious leader. 'Damn! I wonder if he knows something about me and Cassie. I hope not.'

"What did she do, Master?" Flint asked Zero as soon as he recovered from his stupor.

"Nothing yet. But I have a feeling she is about to do something. So you have to keep an eye on her. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Master! I got it." Flint didn't ask questions further despite the fact he was confused by this special mission. He was wondering why their mysterious leader was paying so much attention to one of the applicants.

Christian didn't explain his motive or his real intention for doing this. He was still uneasy because he knew how stubborn his twin sister was. She would not easily listen to anyone.

'Sigh. Cassie… please don't make things more complicated. Don't put yourself in a dangerous situation…' Christian couldn't sleep because he was looking at the monitors, watching the CCTV footage in the Training Camp.

He had to ensure that his stubborn sister would not do something crazy this time. But unknown to him, Cassie met Eleven and Justine again in a secret place where no one could see them.

"I've decided. I'm coming with you. Let's meet tomorrow night at Uncle Liam's VIP ward. 8:00 pm sharp! We will go back to your realm together with Uncle Liam," Cassie declared to them,  making the two men as happy as clams.

"Yes! Thank you, Miss Cassie. We owe you this. I can assure you. We can help our former guardian leader. He will wake up once he returns to our realm.

Many healers will try to save him!" Justine reassured Cassie.

"I believe you! So prepare everything. Can you open up the portal going back to your realm? I heard it needs a lot of supernatural power!"

Eleven and Justine exchanged meaningful glances with one another. They smiled at Cassie and said, "We found a new technique to open the portal without using excessive supernatural powers!"

"Just leave this to us… Master!" The two men suddenly called Cassie their Master!

"Master?!! Seriously?! I'm not old enough to become your master! Stop calling me that!" Cassie complained to them
