Entering the elevator the four made their way down to the lab where all their advancements were made.

"So Virgil who is this young man with you? Chris said he called you brother," Alexander asked

"Yes, Jinwoo is my brother not by blood. It's been a long time since we have seen each other he is currently helping me," Virgil lied

"I see so those shadow figures were his also?" Malis asked

"Yes, that's his ability. Shadow necromancy," 

Reaching the lowest floor the four exited the elevator and began walking through the giant lab filled with large groups of scientists engineers and many others all working on different things. 

They even had a manicuring line for the mana guns. They made them large and more powerful for the space marines to use. 

"The whole process for the mana guns is automated the only thing is we will need more mana cores soon. We also took the mana rifles and began making a more powerful sniper version of them," Alexander explained

"That's good to hear. I will provide you with mana cores soon. For now, take these blueprints. It's for melee weapons, the chain sword, the thunder hammer, and the most powerful the power spear," Virgil said handing over three thumb drives

"I will them look over this. Anything they should know about the weapons," Alexander replied

"Make them as heavy as possible that way only my ultramarines can use them," 

"Very well. Anyway, these are the first four suits," Alexander said pointing at four large battle suits. Two with heavy armor and increased damage output, and two lighter ones with jetpacks on the back.

"We made one of the tactics more defense-focused. We are working on making an energy shield with the nanotech. And the other one will be for infantry troops. For the Gravis troops one was made to focus on stability and altitude for snipe troops and the other one focused on mobility for recon troops," an engineer began explaining an extreme passion

"Incredible. You made them much better than I expected," Virgil said examining the suits

"Yes, Henry is our lead engineer. He may seem like a lot but he has a good heart and is the best at what he does," Malisa explained

"Is that so, good to meet you Henry. This is some impressive work," Virgil said holding his hand out

"Naw this is nothing. Your blueprints, now that was impressive how did you come up with such things? I know magic and stuff is real but this works without any magic. one-and-a-half-ton suits being piloted by regular people is crazy," Henry said shaking Virgil's hand

"Well, not by normal people. This can only be piloted by people trained and changed to their suits. Speaking of do you have the first pilots," 

"Yes, they are waiting in the other room," Malisa said

"Alright let's go meet them I need to let them know what they are getting into," Virgil replied

Leaving the suits to Henry the group made their way to a conference room where four people were waiting. Three very built male humans and a built female vampire all with scarred bodies.

"So this is the kid that asked for us," the vampire said standing up

"Yeah, what so special about him?" another asked with short white hair

"Virgil these are the four we chose. Grayson is a quiet one with long black hair. He may be young but he is our most promising soldier. Dante is the one with white hair he is loud and arrogant but he has the ability to back it up. Damian is our most adaptive soldier and has the most experience here, he even trained Chris. Lastly is Krista, she is our strongest vampire after Alucard. She is...passionate let's say that," Alexander said pointing at each person

"Alright, can you tell us why we are here?" Damian asked 

"I'm here to tell you that you four have been chosen to be my first ultramarines. Those suits out there will given to each of you,"

"What the draw back those suits don't seem easy to use?" Grayson asked

"That's right. Your bodies will be changed and adapted to wear and use the suits. The process will be painful and you might lose your sanity. In return, each of you will become strong enough to destroy cities," Virgil explained

"Alright let's do it. A little pain is nothing for the strength of a giant," Dante laughed

"Yeah, we can take it. I owe my life to Alexander so this is the least I can do," Damian replied

"Same here I just can't wait to wear it and use it," Krista said with a large grin

"I'm glad to hear that. We will start the process tomorrow. Make sure you are mentally ready," Virgil said

"Okay is there anything else we should know?" Grayson asked

"Start thinking of what kind of weapons you want and how you want your suit to look. Since you four are the first you will lead the platoons and will need a way to let people know about your position," Alexander added

With that, the four left the room and way their way back to the battle armor.

Walking up to each suit Virgil began drawing multiple magic circles. For strength boost, defense boost, agility boost, elemental resistance, pain nullifications, auto-healing, and sub-storage for weapons.

"That should be everything they should need for now. The better my skills get the better I can improve them more than this,"

"Is there anything we need?" Malisa asked

"The only thing missing is getting the mana shard to infuse them with. Once I have that we can begin the advancements

"Oh mana shards I have plenty of those," Jinwoo said 

The next moment a mountain of mana cores ranging from F-rank to A-Rank covered the floor
