The anomaly in the Kamen Rider Universe

Chapter 212: The possesive princess {120}

Miyuki crossed her arms and leaned against the doorway, her eyes cold as ever but sharp with intensity. "So, Aaron," she began, her voice cutting through the air like ice. "What exactly is your plan?"

Aaron blinked. It wasn't really a question—it was a demand. He could feel the weight behind her words, as if she wasn't going to leave until she got the answer she was looking for.

He rubbed the back of his neck, his mind racing to figure out how to explain it. "Well... to put it simply, it's kind of a 'fuck it, we ball' type of deal."

Miyuki's eyebrow twitched at his casual phrasing, but she said nothing, waiting for him to continue.

"I mean, there's a lot of moving parts," Aaron said, looking slightly more serious now. "Basically, I'll confront Gifu head-on and take him down before he can fully regain his power. There are... several ways this could go wrong, sure. And yeah, luck plays a huge part in it. But if I push through, I think I can pull it off. There's a solid chance I could die, but hey, that's part of the plan."

Miyuki's eyes narrowed. "That's your plan?" she asked, her voice dripping with disbelief. "It sounds... idiotic."

Aaron felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him. Her bluntness was as cutting as ever. "Well, yeah, when you put it like that..."

She groaned, pressing her fingers to her temples as if the stupidity of his plan was giving her a headache. "For someone who can be so intelligent, you have *zero* self-preservation instinct," she muttered. Her cold expression deepened, and she took a step closer, her gaze boring into him. "What happens if your plan fails, Aaron? What then?"

Aaron hesitated, taken aback by the intensity in her voice. "Well, I mean—"

"And what about your sister?" Miyuki cut him off sharply. "What will happen to her if you die? Is this just about you? Have you even thought about her?" Her words hit him like a punch, and he could feel the weight of her accusation. "Do you think Rui will just move on when she realizes her *Nee-San* is dead because of some half-baked plan?"

Aaron tried to interject. "I'm not planning on dying. I'm—"

"*Scrap that plan,*" Miyuki commanded, her voice low and final. "Now."

Aaron stared at her, stunned. Her tone left no room for negotiation, no room for his usual humor or deflection. For a moment, he could only stand there, speechless.

Miyuki's eyes remained locked on his, unwavering. "You're not doing this alone, Aaron," she said firmly, her voice softening only slightly. "And you're not risking your life for some reckless idea without thinking about the consequences."

Miyuki settled herself in a more comfortable pose, her gaze cold as ice as she looked at the strategy board behind Aaron. Her expression was unreadable, but her mind was hard at work.

She knew her fiancé was far from mentally sound—his reckless plan and disregard for his own life spoke volumes. She recalled something her father used to tell her as a child: *"If someone's sense of self is low, they will never reach their full potential."*

She fixed her eyes back on Aaron and, with a decisive tone, declared, "I'm joining you."

Aaron immediately reacted, shaking his head. "Miyuki, no. You don't understand. Gifu isn't just any enemy. He's an illusionist—he can get inside your head. I can't let you—"

"So what?" Miyuki cut him off sharply, her voice unwavering. "You can't afford to lose other people, but it's fine when it's you? How selfish of you."

Her words sliced through the air, leaving Aaron momentarily speechless. He could see the determination in her eyes, and deep down, he knew she wasn't going to back down. Miyuki was nothing if not stubborn, especially when it came to matters like this.

"I'm not letting you die for a reckless plan," she continued, her voice firm but carrying a flicker of emotion.

This was an unusual amount of emotion that she was showing there.

He sighed, feeling the battle was already lost. She wasn't asking—she was telling him, and there was no arguing with her.

On the sidelines, Rui watched with a bright smile, her eyes practically glowing with excitement. She had been silently listening the whole time, but now, she could barely contain her happiness. "Finally," she thought to herself, "someone to smack some sense into Nii-san."

Aaron sighed again, realizing that Miyuki was as immovable as a glacier. Her icy resolve made it clear that she wasn't going to back down.

"Stay away from that human girl," Miyuki said, her voice cold and commanding, yet still carrying that noble tone she always used when giving orders.

"You mean Sakura?" Aaron asked, caught off guard by her sudden demand.

"Yes," she replied simply.

He frowned, feeling his confusion grow. "Why?"

Miyuki's expression didn't change. "I don't like sharing," she stated with chilling bluntness. "That human woman better stay away from what is mine."

Aaron's brow furrowed. "Since when was I your property?" he shot back, half-joking but already sensing the tension rising.

Miyuki's gaze turned even colder, sending a shiver down his spine.

*Wait...why am I scared?* Aaron thought, feeling that inexplicable dread. It wasn't like she was stronger than him, but there was something about her stare—something that unnerved him deeply.

She looked visibly annoyed now, muttering under her breath, "Mine."

Aaron raised a hand, trying to calm her down. "Relax, Miyuki. I don't think she even likes me to begin with."

Miyuki's expression hardened further, her distrust evident. Was her fiancé really that dense?

*How could he not see it?* That human girl had awakened her latent power through sheer jealousy—an emotion that required overwhelming intensity.

For Aaron not to connect the dots made Miyuki's irritation spike.
