Chapter 15: Chapter 15 - Drugged

"Brother Moyang, focus on your cultivation. I'll come to see you tomorrow!" Su Feier chirped as she turned and left the courtyard with a mischievous smile.

Moyang wiped the cold sweat from his forehead repeatedly. Watching Su Feier pause at the gate to wave back at him, he felt that everything about this situation was utterly wrong.

"Brother Moyang, I'm leaving now!"

Moyang quickly nodded, only relaxing and exhaling deeply after the courtyard finally fell quiet.

What a mess! He felt helpless. If Su Feier had behaved as she usually did, he could have handled her antics. But now, he was completely at a loss.

He hastily closed the door and went inside, locking himself in the stone tower to focus on alchemy.

However, Moyang couldn't have imagined that the Marrow Cleansing Pills he gave Su Feier would throw the entire Lingxu Sect into chaos that very night.

After leaving the Wood Peak, Su Feier returned to the main peak. Eagerly, she swallowed the entire bottle of Beauty Retention Pills in one go, followed by the entire bottle of Marrow Cleansing Pills.

During Moyang's explanation of the effects of the Marrow Cleansing Pills on Wood Peak, Su Feier hadn't paid attention at all. She simply assumed they were similar to the Beauty Retention Pills—meant for skincare and beauty.

Within seconds, she felt something was terribly wrong. Her consciousness dimmed, and an uncontrollable burning sensation spread throughout her body. The thirty pills erupted into two raging forces that rampaged wildly through her.

Even consuming just two of these pills at the same time would have been unbearable for an average cultivator, let alone Su Feier swallowing thirty in one sitting. Moreover, the effects of the two types of pills were completely different, making the situation even worse.

Fortunately, Xu Xin arrived to visit her. But upon seeing Su Feier's condition, Xu Xin was utterly horrified.

Su Feier's face was as red as a ripe apple, veins bulged on her forehead, and large beads of sweat dripped continuously from her face. Her clothes were drenched in sweat at a visible rate, and her consciousness seemed blurred.

Seeing Su Feier like this, Xu Xin panicked and didn't know what to do. Her only choice was to rush Su Feier to the elders of the Lingxu Sect.

In an instant, the commotion reached the main hall of the sect, alarming all the elders.

The Supreme Elder and the sect master immediately stepped forward to examine Su Feier. However, her condition was so severe that even experienced elders were at a loss.

"Supreme Elder, what's going on?" The sect master, unable to understand the situation, was anxious as he saw the agony on Su Feier's face.

The Supreme Elder's first thought was that Su Feier must have consumed something unusual, as her symptoms were nothing like those caused by cultivation.

"There are two immense forces rampaging through her body, causing her true energy to spiral out of control. If we can't suppress them, I fear..." The Supreme Elder's expression grew grave as he quickly channeled his power into Su Feier's body to stabilize her.

But the moment his energy entered her, his face darkened. The two forces inside Su Feier were completely unrestrained, spreading through her limbs and meridians, making them impossible to suppress.

"What on earth happened?" The Supreme Elder turned to Xu Xin for answers. Since Xu Xin had brought Su Feier here, she must know the cause. After all, such incidents don't happen without reason.

"I... I don't know either..." Xu Xin stammered, visibly flustered. Su Feier had been perfectly fine when they left the Wood Peak together. What could have happened?

She suddenly remembered that Su Feier had wandered off halfway, claiming she had something to do. The direction Su Feier had gone in was... the Wood Peak.

"Junior Sister might've gone to Wood Peak... but..." Xu Xin hesitated, unwilling to make baseless accusations against Moyang.

"Wood Peak? Moyang... Could he have drugged Feier?" the Great Elder roared, his face filled with rage.

The mention of Wood Peak immediately brought Moyang to mind since he was the only one living there. Coupled with the rumors circulating within the sect and Su Feier's current condition, the elders quickly jumped to conclusions about the culprit and the nature of the "drug."

The other elders, along with the sect master, also turned grim.

The Supreme Elder, though visibly concerned, refused to believe that Moyang would do such a thing. However, he was aware that Moyang had been experimenting with various medicinal materials recently, consuming large quantities. It was highly likely the situation was related to Moyang. With things spiraling out of control, there was no time for further deliberation. The Supreme Elder immediately carried Su Feier off the main peak at top speed, heading for Wood Peak.

His reasoning was simple: if this truly involved a certain type of drug, the only possible solution would be the balance of yin and yang to resolve it.

The other elders quickly followed, leaving the main hall. Chaos erupted on the main peak, and news of the incident spread like wildfire, causing an uproar throughout the sect.

When the group of powerful elders arrived at Wood Peak, they discovered that Moyang was nowhere to be found in the courtyard. The Supreme Elder nearly cursed out loud.

"Find Moyang immediately! No matter what he's doing, bring him back as quickly as possible!" the Supreme Elder ordered the Great Elder and the Second Elder.

To the remaining elders, he said, "The rest of you, help me stabilize Feier's meridians. Otherwise, she won't last much longer before she explodes!"

The Great Elder and the Second Elder searched the entire Lingxu Sect for Moyang but couldn't find a trace of him. They even checked the memorial site at the back mountain, but not even Moyang's shadow was there.

The entire sect mobilized, with disciples searching high and low, nearly turning the place upside down. Yet still, there was no sign of Moyang.

Half an hour later, Moyang finally emerged from his room.

Having just left the stone tower, he noticed that the door to his house was hanging crookedly. Upon entering, he saw that the room had been ransacked. Something was clearly wrong. He stepped outside, only to freeze in shock.

"What the... What's going on?"

Before he could fully grasp the situation, countless furious gazes bore down on him. Although the elders couldn't comprehend how Moyang had suddenly appeared in the previously empty courtyard, there was no time to question it.

"Moyang, you scoundrel! How much aphrodisiac did you give Feier?" the Great Elder bellowed, barely containing his rage.

"You brat! What have you done to Feier? Fix this immediately!" the Supreme Elder demanded.

Moyang frowned, utterly confused. He could tell something was seriously wrong, but there was no time to explain. In a flash, he darted forward.

As he approached Su Feier, he immediately noticed a layer of black, sticky substance seeping from her body, accompanied by an unbearable stench.

"It's over... She's beyond saving," the Second Elder muttered grimly. Earlier, though Su Feier had been in pain, her body was still intact. But now...

Moyang knelt beside her, examining her condition. His expression changed instantly. He could tell she had consumed the Marrow Cleansing Pill—likely in an excessive dose.

Grasping her arm to probe further, his face grew even darker. Two chaotic forces rampaged wildly inside her, like untamed stallions wreaking havoc.

Recalling his previous experiments, Moyang realized that Su Feier had also overdosed on the Beauty Retention Pills.

"No way... Did she take all the pills I gave her in one go?" Moyang was dumbfounded. He distinctly remembered warning her about the dosage.
