Chapter 62: Justinian Does Not Hold Back.
Superman felt every single one of his cells turn into a mini sun which pushed him forward. Each one of his blows shook the Pocket Dimension which Justinian had created to match the size of a small universe.
At least 50 galaxies the size of the Milky Way could fit inside of it, and Superman was shaking that. He moved at such speeds that if not for the magic that Justinian was using to project their battle the human eye would never be able to see it.
To the eye of a human, the battle would end in less than a second, but even with all that he was forced to fight defensively. For all of Superman's power, Justinian was in no way struggling.
Superman might have supercharged himself on Solar Radiation, but Justinian had the same ability and even better. At the same time, in terms of hand-to-hand, Justinian was clearly superior.
As Custodes knew every single Martial Art developed up to the 40th millenium. Despite his massive bulk, he moved with the fluidity of a snake as his limbs seemed to have no joints. Thanks to his Burning Martian DNA, he could turn and warp his joints in impossible ways.
Like he was running on solid ground he sprinted at Clark before slamming his fist into his foe's gut. He then fired a point-blank Lastrum Storm Bolter Shot into Clark's stomach which erupted like a singlularity sending the Kryptonian flying.
Clark spun around in the void to catch himself from hurling too far. When he finally managed to stop he glanced back at Justinian. He had his left arm up where his Bolter was attached. Superman exhaled as he was going to jump back in, but Justinian wasn't done.
Justinian raised his hands up before he clasped them together and when he did so, a titanic arcs of purple-gold lightning slammed into Superman causing him to scream in agony.
Rather than stop the bombardment Justinian sprinted full speed until he reached Superman. When he did, he slammed his foot into Superman's face causing a spurt of blood to spray from Clark's broken nose.
He spun around and grabbed Clark by his hair holding him up like a rag. His outfit was scorched, his skin covered in burns from the lightning and it was just starting.
"Done already?"
Superman opened his eyes before he lunged up and grabbed Justinian's wrist. He twisted it, intending to break it, but Justinian's joints were not weak points. He slammed his palm into Superman's face and he crushed down.
His palm lit up as he unleashed a blast of Warp Fire directly on Superman's face. Back on Terra, Lois gasped when she watched that. She wanted to look away, but she just couldn't. Her son, John grit his teeth as after the punch that sent Justinian flying, it no longer seemed like a fight.
Just a torture session, but he still had hope. They all had to have hope, but Justinian was here to break it. Still grabbing Superman by the face, he raised him by before he slammed his left gauntlet into his gut.
[Defense Breaker.]
The Dimensions cracked and fissured once more and Superman felt all that damage directly. He wanted to scream, but before he could prepare himself, a second punch slammed into the same spot.
[Defense Breaker.]
Then another, and another, again, and again, Justinian just kept landing Defense Breaker after the other. After landing the 12th punch he let Superman go before spinning around and slamming his boot into Superman's face.
[Defense Breaker.]
Superman went limp as he flew through the void, his chest and stomach a mess as massive slashes tore him open like a turkey. His entire chest was almost black as the force of Justinian's blows came like he had no resistance.
Since there was nothing solid, he was just drifting limp as the Solar Radiation in his body struggled to close his wounds. Justinian began to walk toward him before he stood directly over him.
"Are you done?"
Superman opened his eyes as he struggled to pick himself up.
"I gave you courtesy enough, but I won."
His eyes behind his helmet began to glow a blood red before golden Golden Purple Divine and Psychic Energy mixed with the Omega Effect. From his helmet, emerged two Golden, Red, and Purple Omega Beams that slammed into Superman.
The Omega Beams bent and moved carrying him to one of the ten suns. They slammed him into the sun, but when those beams entered the sun, they warped it from a bright yellow to a purple-red.
The sun then detonated like a Supernova with Superman inside of it. He was sent hurling out of it, only for Justinian to be there. Justinian's fist slammed into his face, but rather than allow him to go flying, Justinian's Psychic Powers held him in place.
Golden Purple flames erupted from Justinian's skin and armor in an ominous display. These flames mixed Solar Radiation, Omega Effect, Divine, Psychic, and the concepts of Domination and Supremacy. There was nothing these flames could not burn.
With Superman locked in place, Justinian clenched his fists before locking them together which he brought down on Superman's face. Just the impact alone was bad, but the flames stuck to what they touched.
Superman's face was now covered in them and they refused to go out. Justinian could heal him later, but for now, he just wanted to fight. From his back emerged the Divine Dividing which was much larger and more metallic rather than crystal.
He flew toward Superman who was struggling with the flames enveloping his head. When Justinian reached him, he slammed his knee into his gut. Superman gasped as he felt his internals get rocked.
Justinian waved his hand and extinguished the flames he had used on Superman. He then bent down and picked up Superman, raising him over his head.
"To quote Bane, I broke the Bat, in this case, Superman."
He then brought him onto his knee breaking his back. Superman screamed as he fell limp off Justinian's knee. Once Superman was broken, Justian looked down at Superman who wasn't getting up now.
"I take that this is my victory."
Clark turned himself around and his mangled body was revealed to everyone. He had terrible slashes, lightning and fire burns, and severe internal damage. Now, only 9 suns remained and even with all of that, his power wasn't enough to keep up with Justinian's ability to absorb solar radiation.
On Mars, in Justinian's Throne Room, his Honor Guard and those close to Justinian were laughing. Perturabo who had taken the chance to sit himself on the Crystal Throne laughed.
"Look at him, our Emperor is the greatest is he not?"
Dorn glanced at Perturabo on the Throne with a bit of confusion.
"He is, but when did he give you the permission to sit on his throne?"
Perturabo waved him off.
"He won't mind, it's not like its power reacts to anyone other than him anyway."
Remnosh walked toward him before she flicked him on the head.
"You're right that he doesn't mind, but I mind. Now get your ass up."
Perturabo snorted as he got up only for Remnosh to take the Throne for herself. When he lost his seat he shook his head.
"Why do you get the Throne?"
A small projection of Justinain's face appeared in front of him.
"Because you were dumb enough to get up."
Perturabo snorted as everyone laughed at him. Erda who appeared behind him patted him on the shoulder.
"Don't be too mad, you were just too slow."
Perturabo snarled as he walked away from the Throne.
"Laugh all you want, just know that I was just being polite."
Sigismund and Helbrecht who were standing near the Throne let themselves smile. Sigismund glanced down at Remnosh who was sitting down.
"Do I call Tigruel back? His mission is over since we are now going to start the takeover."
Remnosh thought about it before nodding.
"Yes. Go pick him up yourself, that way the Titans and the Justice League will realize that there will never be traitors coming from the Imperium."
Sigismund nodded.
"I will go get him. His Mother wants him back after all."
Just as he was going to go to Terra the take over was going to start. However, he stopped when he looked at Superman who unleashed a massive blast from his eyes at Justinian. It seemed he wasn't going to let himself fall that easily.
---
Back in the Pocket Dimension, Justinian clashed with Superman's heat vision with his own Omega Beams. While the clash between both beams seemed even, the reality of things was that it was far from even.
Justinian surged more power into his eyes which began to push against Superman's heat vision.
"I see you are still struggling. Can you struggle after I take the gift I gave you?"
Justinian raised his hand and 8 of the remaining 9 suns began to fall in on themselves. All of the energy in those eight suns began to be absorbed by Justinian which fed power into his own cells.
With the loss of his power sources, except for one, Superman was finished. Especially when all that energy was taken by Justinian into his body. His cells were flooded with energy, but none of them burned up.
His status as a Perpetual made him impossibly hard to kill especially when enhanced by his Nth Metal Auramite Skeleton. Now Supercharged with Solar Radiation, his Red, Purple, and Gold Omega Beams overpowered Superman's heat vision and slammed into him.
Justinian moved forward and he stepped on Superman's stomach. Clark screamed as Justinian twisted his foot.
"Now, you are done."
Clark opened his eyes and he grabbed Justinian's foot intending on pushing it off. However, Justinian just brought it down again causing him to scream.
"You are done, there is nothing you can do now."
Clark gasped as he still struggled to get Justinian's leg off him.
"Not- while I draw breath."
Justinian looked down before he reached up and removed his helmet.
"That is the thing, Superman. You are alive because I wanted you to live."
He reached behind him and he grabbed his spear. He brought it down just above Superman's heart.
"It would be so easy to pierce your heart and then nothing you or anyone else did would save you. However, I will not kill you. You will live, live Clark because you will see the extreme good that I bring to your planet.
For now, I give you this."
Justinian kneeled down and he extended one of the claws of his Boosted Gear. He stabbed the claw into Clark's neck before he injected a toxin he created on the spot. With the power of Albion, he could synthesize venoms and poisons on the fly, and this one used his undestanding of Kryptonian DNA.
It entered the cells of Superman and began to cause them to be unable to store Solar Radiation. As a result, it rapidly began to depower Clark which caused him to start gasping as his wounded lungs stopped being able to heal.
"I won."
A harsh strike to his head knocked him out and to keep him from dying, Justinian healed him. He then turned around to address the people of Terra.
"As you see, your Champion has lost. Badly might I add. Do not be alarmed because now, Terra belongs to me. Commence take over."
That message was to the infiltrators he had ordered into every government of the world. They wouldn't just come out and say they were infiltrators, instead, they would slowly begin to pass pro-imperial laws.
At the same time, Justinian's armies would begin to set up bases in every country the world over. Slowly, over time Justinian's hold on Terra would be total returning the birthplace of Mankind to him.
If he had to fight Pantheons of gods, he would do so as he believed the next frontier was coming. The coming years would be a harsh time, but he was here for it. With the Mother Box at his side, the Multiverse was at his disposal, he just had to use it.
[So, I think the next step is for us to start fighting Darkseid right?]
{That is one option or Hell. Trigon is a problem, but we also have the gods to deal with. A single Superman was never the peak of this Universe, but a good starting point. But we are ready.}
'That we are my brothers. Let us get it done.'
He opened a portal back to his Throne Room and he took it dragging Superman with him. He had won and his Imperium now gained the best prize, Earth now called Terra. A great day to be remembered for all time.
