The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

As the man released his Shikai, Uryu immediately felt like something was off.

Call it his intuition or the fact that he was used to his cousin doing some sneaky shits during fights, but something about the man blade felt off.

As he came to this realization, he began to put his Quincy skills to use.

Utilizing the ambient Reishi in the air, Uryu Ishida, the third-best user of Reishi manipulation in the Ishida household, crafted a mask for himself.

The upper portion is crafted from pristine white material with sharp, angular lines, exuding a futuristic and precise aesthetic. Three vertical black vents dominate the center, which were probably the filtration devices of the mask. While subtle triangular engravings accentuate its sophisticated design.

The lower half of the mask features a matte black, textured finish that emphasizes resilience and practicality. 'I forgot this was a 2 vs 1' Uryu thought realizing that the girl had grabbed his arrow tossing it away before holding him.

"Let me go" He shouted but the girl said nothing, she just kept holding him close, very close.

"Hold him still"

Mayuri's voice came out.

Wait, he wasn't planning on slashing her in order to get to him right?

The answer to that question was the fattest yes known to mankind.

Mayuri did in fact, use her body as a meat shield in order to get a proper slash on Uryu.

And Uryu watched as the man kicked and even punched the girl for not staying still enough.

What kind of madman BS was he looking at?

'wait....I can't move' That thought flashed in his mind.

Mayuri had a sinister smile on his face.

"Oh, you are catching on"

After the man finishes explaining, he then stabs Uryu again, causing the boy to hold back a scream.

"Oh, you have pain tolerance, is this not your first time being stabbed by a sword..."

"Fourth time actually"

"Aren't you just a wealth of knowledge," the man said condescendingly.

"Nemu, kill him," The man said walking away, not even feeling the urge to kill him.

Though after seeing her unresponsive reply, he seemed to realize something, oh right, he had also hit her with his Ashisogi Jizō, meaning she was currently paralyzed.

"How useless can you be" He said kicking her in the gut, causing her to puke out even more blood.

"Stop it" Uryu shouted, they may have been enemy, but this didn't feel right.

"Do you feel pity for your enemy, do you think that makes you righteous, you Quincy and your dam pride, I have heard enough of this" The man looked rather pissed.

"All of the Quincy, I have studied have said the same thing about their pride, on their pride as a Quincy they would do this,"

"What do you mean...study..."

"Quincy were a rare specimen, Shinigami have been keeping an eye on the last few Quincy for a while, I studied nearly 3000 thousand Quincy, made them watch their own kid burn, kill them, watch how their body function, study them, and yet all of them kept speaking about this pride nonsense"

Uryu's brow furrowed at that....wait...this man wouldn't happen to be...

"The last Quincy I studied was a frail old man, My attempt to get him while he was alive we thwarted by someone, however, he died soon after, and after getting some soul reaper to retrieve his soul, I began my study, his soul was already half gone, but he kept muttering his students name over and over again"

Mayuri said as if he was just recounting a usual Tuesday.

Seeing the anger on Uryu's face, the man had a sadistic smile on his face.

"oh....he was your grandpa, how unfortunate. Let me allow you to reunite with your grandpa" The man said raising his blade, what seemed to be purple mist leaving his blade.

The man begins to stab Uryu over and over again, causing the boy to puke out blood.

Enjoying the look on the boy's face, he had to admit, that the boy's pain tolerance was high, however, it wasn't good enough.

As Uryu lay there, feeling his life drained from his body, a mocking smile could be seen on his face.

"Has death made you delirious"

The very next second, something happened....something big.

Mayuri found himself on the floor, with no energy drained and on the death door, meanwhile, Uryu could be seen looking down at him.

Wait how?

How could this be?

The answer to that question was simple.....Uryu shrift.....the Antithesis....This ability allows Uryū to reverse and alter events that have occurred between two designated targets, which can be any two beings, points in time, or states of matter. Uryū can use this power to reverse injuries, transfer damage to his opponent, and even manipulate physical circumstances between two points.

And right now, Uryu has changed his state with Mayuri.

Creating his bow, Uryu raised it and pointed it at the man's head.

He would kill the man who had killed his grandpa.

However there was one thing that Uryu hadn't thought about, and it was the fact that the poison did not work on Mayuri.

Still didn't fix the fact that both of his arms had practically been cut off....yeah the state he had left Uryu in was not so good.

When he was about to shoot off the arrow, he felt it....even Mayuri felt it.

An Unfamiliar Reiatsu, a Reiatsu signature that was twice the size of captain class Shinigami, from where they were, they could see the Seireitei, or at least part of it bending to that power will.

He was breaking down the molecular bond between the material in the Seireitei to get the Reishi inside, and using that Reishi to empower himself.

This looked like Letz Stilz, however, Uryu knew better, this was his cousin's true strength, the complete domination of Reishi.

Though he wondered who his brother was fighting for him to release such a potent attack.

However, this release would attract the attention of practically everyone in the Seireitei so he better get a move on.

Now.

Before he left, he made sure to launch at Mayuri Saketsu chain...

If he couldn't kill him, at least he could cripple this man.

Now that this was done, he turned around, and as he was about to leave.

He heard the girl saying thank you...for not killing her father.

He didn't have time to question why she accepted such a cruel man as her father but oh well.

Time to get to Orihime.

A/N For anyone saying, wait, how did he awaken his Shrift so fast....remember, Sora was dating Rukia at that time, and Rukia tended to come by a lot, either for study or to hang out and guess who by association is kind of dragged at being close to Rukia.....

Also this is know the first time he use it…in chapter 52, when Sora speaking about the system and Uryu huzz repellent aura…. The paragraph right after basically hinted at it, but I guess most people gloss over it.

Also since Uryu would desire strength, I feel like the Hogyoko in Rukia would grant him that, since he basically spent like 2 month-ish around her presence.
