That Time I Got Reincarnated By Veldanava

As everyone stared at Henrik, him and Shizu were starting to prepare for a fight. They could see as nearby men started to reach for the nearest weapon after hearing Henrik declare his true identity as the one who Veldora announced now own the Great Jura Forest.

It was obvious not many of them were actual fighters, one even looked like a farm hand but even he reached for a nearby hoe he must have brought from the farm.

"Why are they all so desperate to attack?" Henrik asked Shizu.

"Because of the stories spreading about you. It was part of the announcement from the Demon Lords. Apparently, the Lord of Darkness has offer to grant the wish of whoever kills you. That and some men desperate to protect their families. What exactly did you do to antagonise someone so powerful?"

"Beat up his girlfriend, sorta. They're not really dating but they are but they aren't. It's confusing. And I doubt the Demon Lords care about this, more like one demon lord said something and people took it completely out of proportion. If it is true though, that means I'm at war and I haven't even got a military yet. That's just amazing."

Henrik and Shizu both got ready for a fight, willing to protect themselves from the attackers but also just hold back the ones who think they're families are in trouble. And then, a voice shouted that seemed to get closer at every second.

"ENOUGH. All of you, stand down immediately. If you fight him, you're asking to be put in the ground. If you have anything even resembling a brain, put your weapons down and go back to your tents. Get some sleep, the earlier you wake up, the sooner you get inside tomorrow."

Everyone who was now surrounding Henrik and Shizu looked towards the sound of the voice, a certain annoying adventurer Henrik noticed from the anime spoke up with arrogance as he turned around, "Who the Hell do you think you are to tell us what to do? The King?" The same man who just spoke with sheer confidence in his voice was now trembling in fear.

He was standing before Gazel Dwargo, King of The Armed Nation Of Dwargon.

Gazel simply looked towards the man for a moment before turning his attention back to Henrik, completely ignoring Shizu.

"King Henrik, I'd have appreciated it if you sent word beforehand or even better sent an envoy to discuss a state visit then just showing up under the guise of a regular tourist. If I was a few hundred years younger, I may see it as espionage and declare war. But even with your current lack of a military, your nation isn't one I would quickly start a war with. Especially if the details of your capitol that my people saw is true.

Regardless of your lack of proper etiquette, allow me to personally invite you to be my guest in the city. I understand you properly wish to explore the city if you were going to enter in secret. I'll grant you two days to explore starting tomorrow, then we'll converse about the future of our nations. Your associate here is welcome to join. She can serve as your escort."

Then, not wishing to provoke Gazel, every single man who took up arms had now backed off, a few snickering at Gazel who clearly aren't citizens here. Gazel however, just ignored their presence and kept his eyes trained on Gazel.

Henrik with a smile replied to Gazel in a cheery voice, "Nice. Two days with the pretty elves, I mean exploring the city I hope my nation can have a prosperous relationship with. Totally not gonna spend two whole days with the elves.

So, any chance a room or two is included in being your guest, I kinda left without cash," Henrik said with a cheeky smile.

"It's fine, I'll pay," Shizu offered before Gazel intervened saying they'll stay in the palace and be escorted around the city by someone of his choice. More of an order than an offer, one which Henrik couldn't refuse since if he was going to create a peaceful world, he was going to need friends and not enemies.

"Of course Gazel. Let's go, I could do with a nice nap. Oh, I need a moment in private with Shizu here. How about we catch up?" Henrik said as he wanted to save Shizu now so she wouldn't have to keep fighting to supress Ifrit.

"No, despite your inability to organise a proper first meeting, I will do the proper thing. Your rooms shall be unmonitored and you can have your private moment at the castle. But in future, make sure you go through the appropriate channels and not just show up," Gazel said before he turned and walked away.

Henrik and Shizu quickly began to follow behind as the guards followed behind them, clearly cautious about Henrik.

"How did you get out here so fast? As soon as I revealed myself you was here."

"I was nearby when two of my guards ran into the capitol spooked out of their minds. A human who can fly and suddenly knows the 'Conquerer Of Flames' when confronted. I decided I'd best come look for myself. Especially given recent rumours about you."

"That reminds me, I heard the Demon Lords have declared something about me. See, me and my nation don't exactly get global announcements so mind telling me what was said?" Henrik asked now completely serious and focused.

"The Demon Lords have declared a Walpurgis. Now every country is on high alert. Because whenever the Demon Lords convened, whole nations have been destroyed. Later there was another message that said Demon Lord Clayman had up out a request for your head.

That's why the people out there wanted to kill you, the reward is any wish granted. I honestly don't know where the rumours of The Lord of Darkness offering the same came from. Nothing official has been announced involving him."

"I see. So Clayman is openly declaring war is he? Weird. That's not like him to be so brass, especially if the person he is targeting has allied with Veldora," Henrik said out loud involuntarily."

"Indeed. That's why I'm willing to host you even if a Demon Lord has declared you an enemy. We could survive Clayman, but as a business man, him attacking us would be detrimental given all money in the world is produced by us. And if I may speak bluntly, I wish to know who is so powerful and influential that they can persuade Demon Lord Clayman to openly attack someone.

Whoever it is must be known if they can manipulate a Demon Lord, who knows the threat they pose," Gazel explained.

'Yuuki is who, who else could it be. As the guild master of the Freedom Association, who else could possibly have such power. But unfortunately for him, I know who he is and how he thinks. He knows nothing of me.' Henrik thought to himself.

"We're here. You'll be showed to your rooms, rest and for the next few days, you may explore the city. Then, we'll speak properly in private," Gazel said while emphasising the word "private" and looking and Shizu.

"Thanks Gazel, I'll be sure to let your chef know if I'm hungry," Henrik joked as Gazel walked away from them and didn't look back.

"Please your majesty, follow me," A random guard who Henrik didn't see there a moment ago said.

After being seen to their rooms, Henrik told Shizu to join him in his room, which the guards made crude remarks about but Shizu just ignored them. The two sat at a desk.

"What did you mean you can save me?" Shizu asked politely.

"Straight down to business, just how I like it. It's hard for me to explain without telling you the nature of my ultimate skills which I'm not prepared to do. All I can ask is you trust me."

"Ultimate skills? Plural? Just who are you?" Shizu asked bewildered.

"A friend. I will tell you this though. I intend to make a nation where humans and monsters will live in harmony. And in order to achieve that, I intend to create a very powerful military of both. At the helm, I'll have a human general and a monster one. And if you accept my offer, you will be the human leader."

"And the kids will live? And I'll see the hero again?" Shizu asked, the hope in her voice becoming more evident every second.

"Yes. Which reminds me, what exactly are your students names? I'd like to know the names of those I'm helping."

"Well there's Kenya, Gale, Alice, Ryota and finally Chloe. They're my current students."

'So Chloe still exists which makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that Shizu knows the hero. That hero is Chloe and she shouldn't have become that person without Rimuru existing. And even if she somehow still time travels, how was Veldora not sealed away but Shizu knows her. It's as if some events remained the same but some changed drastically. And Veldora's initial hesitation to kill the goblins makes no sense.

He's always feared his sisters but that didn't stop him. Is it because he couldn't run to Veldanava anymore? And how did he learn to supress his aura, sure it's sloppy but he could do it. I should ask him at some point.' Henrik was thinking to himself as he zoned out.

"Is that okay?" Shizu asked.

Henrik, snapped back to reality, surprisingly asks, "Is what okay?"

"Five of them. Can you save them all. If not, then let me die and save at least two, just don't make me choose."

Henrik could do nothing but smile at Shizu's clear affection for her students. "Yeah that fine. I could save a hundred if you wanted. But, your case if far more urgent, so I best save you now. Even with that mask on, I can sense Ifrit itching to break free. And since you're with me, you bursting apart and attacking Dwargon would only damage my chances here. So, I need an answer now, would you like to join me?"

"Yes," Shizu whispered completely involuntary. She then composed herself and repeated her answer far more professionally.

Henrik then stood up and raised his hand towards Shizu, "Good. I'll see you in a minute," Henrik said with a smile before uttering the words that would save Shizu's life.

"Devour all, Beelzebuth."

On command, a black hole energy shot out of Henrik's hand and completely enveloped Shizu before drawing her into [Imaginary Space].

After Raphael had given Henrik the warning, he release Shizu and she lay unconscious on the bed. Ifrit had been the one thing keeping her alive and without it, her body was quickly dying.

"I said I wouldn't abuse two of my new ultimate skills, I said nothing of the other. Lets get your hero egg."

As Henrik said this, he used his ultimate skill [King Of The Heroes, Arthur] to force a successful summon of a greater elemental of light. Once it was summoned, it was forced to make a contract with Shizu and grant her a hero egg.

Henrik then walked up to her and removed he mask, he hadn't realised how beautiful she really was since he'd only seen her face as a 2D anime. She assuring stroked her hair and smiled which made her instinctively smile and made her body relax.

"It's all gonna be okay now Shizu. Like I said, even better than Rimuru made the world. And you being alive is the first step to that. Now rest as long as you need. When you wake up, you'll be stronger than ever."

While Shizu couldn't hear Henrik as she was completely unconscious, what she could hear was The World Language sounding in her voice.
