That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Primordial Demon

A few years have passed since I met Rouge, and four new primordials have been born.

They were born immediately after Blanc and Noir.

They were Jaune, Vert, Violet, Bleu,and Rose.

With that happening, there are currently 9 primordial demons in hell.

We are the strongest demons to ever exist.

There are also demons born under us. They are also identified by their colour, which represents the lineage they belong to.

Thousands of years have passed since I was born, so I've given up on calculating how old I am.

Hell, even Sage-san gave up on that, so what right do I.

I have only met Noir, Rouge, Violet, Jaune, and Blanc.

Noir's been called the weirdest of us all.

I've also been labelled as "weird" due to my apathy to fight others. Well, not that I care.

We share similar interests in other things apart from fighting and getting stronger.

Jaune's pretty chill when you get to know her better.

Her explosive nature makes her seem like an outcast, but I like her no matter.

Blanc is pretty cool, too. We might have started on a rocky surface, but we got closer over time.

She has an eccentric nature with pride rivalling Rouge's, but she is also frightening clever and sharp.

Violet is somewhat okay, but her sadistic nature creeps me out.

I would not mind it a bit if not for the fact that she's a cute loli.

Rouge is pretty prideful if you ask me.

His pride is somewhat understandable, considering his strength.

Well, that's enough of them, it's my turn.

I also own a lineage of my own. I decided to call them "Silver Line."

All demons have their personality derived from their progenitors.

The demons from Rouge's lineage are very prideful in nature, which is derived from him.

The demons from Violet's lineage like to torture others to satisfy their sadistic nature.

The demons from Jaune's lineage are wild and aggressive, which is somewhat understandable.

The demons from Vert's lineage are mostly calm, rational, and composed.

From Noir's lineage, they are unpredictable, so no comment.

The same goes with the demons from Blanc's line.

As for the demons from Rose's lineage, they all act like nobles from rich families.

They are haughty and prideful, but they are also very cautious and quick-witted.

I can only imagine what type of person Rose will be.

I hope we get along well.

The demons from Bleu's line act more humanely than the rest.

They are easy to approach and start a conversation with.

Though, they still have their demonic nature with them.

As for the demons from my lineage, they also act more humanely than the others.

They all have their own different unique personalities.

Some act cold and indifferent whilst others behave friendly and are easy to get along.

I've also met some incredibly intelligent and curious ones with high IQ.

There are also others that strongly detest violence, and some of them live by the rule, "might makes right."

They all stem from my personality, so I'm really proud of that.

Well, let's come back to the present.

I'm really grateful to have Sage-san by my side.

Life's been really good with her, and I've never gotten lonely, so I'm not complaining about the fact that she acts emotionless.

No matter how well she hides it, I know that she's got some emotions hidden in that monotonous facade of hers.

Anyway, back to what I was saying before, I got "rudely" interrupted by a certain skill of mine.

I've fought thousands of greater demons since then, and I've acquired the extra skills『Gas Creation』,『Attribute Conversion』and『Multilayer Barrier』.

My gas creation skill grants me access to create gas and infuse certain elements into it.

After my recent fight with Violet, I've learned how to create toxic poison.

Imagine spreading poisonous gas during a fight.

Only those with Poison Nullification can survive it, and if I use my『Ultimate Authority』skill on it, let's just say that things won't be funny.

I've also learnt how to use gluttony in a gaseous form.

During a fight with a greater demon from Rouge's lineage, I cast a 『Multilayer Barrier』around us.

I then used 『Gluttony』 and my extra skill 『Gas Creation』 to fill the space with an energy draining effect alongside a corroding effect that killed the poor demon.

I named the art 『Extinction Haze』.

I, alongside Sage-san, have created new types of magic with different effects.

There is dark magic, which I learnt from Blanc and Violet.

I also learnt a new type of magic called "Holy Magic."

This occurred when I took in some subordinates from my lineage.

After taking them in, they started to worship me as some sort of God that I strongly went against before.

Yes. The key word is before.

I would have done something about it earlier if not for Sage-san telling me not to.

She told me that apart from magicules, there is another magical particle known as "spiritron."

She said that "spiritrons are subatomic particles that make up all forms of spiritual matter, lacking any sort of attribute and filling a position similar to that of the neutron.

As a type of spiritual matter, spiritrons are normally intangible and invisible to the naked eye, though it possible for them to materialize into a solid state."

She got this info from the "World's Voice" when I met the conditions to use holy magic.

The discovery of this new particle called spiritron is really amazing.

Despite them normally being infused with attributes and compounded to make composite-like particles such as magicules, they are capable of existing in a state all on their own.

In this state, spiritrons move erratically through space-time in seemingly random patterns, making them seem to move ignoring time and space passing through all kinds of barriers and slip through physical materials.

Kinda cool if you ask me. With more experiments, Sage-san discovered that though the movement of spiritrons seems to be random, they obey their own set of laws.

She said that understanding these laws known as the Laws of Natural Spiritron Transference, it is possible for their movements to be predicted.

So that means that if this is combined with the ability to manipulate spiritrons, it is possible to offset their motion by flinging additional spiritrons at them, resulting in the two cancelling each other out.

That would mean that an attack with a fluctuating or extreme density of spiritrons is gonna be really difficult to predict, which can result in an imperfect defence.

I've tested this out on Blanc and Rouge, and it worked perfectly.

They tried to set up a 『Multilayer Barrier』 to defend against a spiritron infused shockwave, which failed hilariously.

The attack just passed through it and hit them, causing them severe damage to their spiritual and astral body.

After our short spar, they asked me to teach them about it.

I didn't want to teach them my secret, so I just taught them how to interfere with it to create an attack.

Through my teachings, they were able to create their own art called 『Death Streak』.

This attack is formed when the abyss core generated by nuclear magic is crushed.

It releases waves that agitate spiritrons, which, in turn, produce radiation in the form of a dark light.

The dark light bypasses all physical and magical obstacles and forcefully rewrites the genes of living beings, resulting in death.

Even the souls of every being within its radius are destroyed by the dark light precisely piercing their infons.

While dark light causes no direct physical damage to the target, the aggressive mutation normally causes the target's body to quickly decay and disintegrate, leaving nothing behind.

The user can potentially take damage if handled incorrectly, with the dark light not discriminating between friend or foe.

The only way to counteract this ability is said to be to counter it with an equal "dark light," while the only ones said to have the potential of surviving it are Spiritual life-forms or those who can likewise store their memories within their soul and regenerate their bodies.

However, for lesser beings, it is said that the probability of death reaches above 99.999%, with only one in a million having the potential to survive the technique.

This is caused by their soul adapting to the dark light, a process that turns the individual into a monster if they're lucky enough to be compatible.

It is possible for the effects of the dark light to be toned down to only scramble genes and not target souls, rendering it harmless to spiritual life-forms.

That's the information I received when I analysed the attack.

That's one of the most dangerous attacks I've seen.

I'm gonna need to up my game if I wanna be the underdog.

Now, this brings me down to my recent discovery, "infons."

This is the first experiment I've failed to produce results from.

After failing to get an answer from the analysis, I felt an overwhelming amount of frustration that felt.... "artificial."

I made a conclusion that it was from Sage-san, but she was quick to deny my claim.

I decided to leave the smart work to Sage-san, I'm sure she would be able to do something about it.

「Notice. Please leave the rest for me to handle.」

Yeah. That's the spirit partner!!

Now, back to reality.

There are nine demons standing (kneeling) before me.

These individuals were demons that, on a whim, decided to swear their loyalty to me.

I did not want to deal with any subordinates, so I decided to give them a task I considered impossible to achieve.

I told them to wait for five millenia to pass, and after they reached the stage of Arch-demon,

they could serve me.

Any normal person would outright declare it outrageous, but no~, they decided that it would be a funny idea to test it out!

And they did it! DAMN YOU!!

Argent: 「You really took my words, didn't you?」

???:「Yes Argent-sama! We would never do otherwise.」

Fanatism. That's the only way to describe it.

My poor, trouble-free life.

Argent: 「May I know the names of the ones that wish to serve me?」

???:「We are actually nameless demons Argent-sama.」

What! Outrageous! Wait, now that I think of it, all demons have no names except for we the primordials.

「Negative. The name Argent is just a title used to refer to the silver primordial.」

So I'm just some no-name character who adds nothing to the plot!!?

OH HELL NAH!!!

Sage-san, I need a name immediately. How about you give me a name.

After the little taunt, I did something that could never be described as normal.

I received a name from my own skill.

My evolution was about to begin, so I decided to quickly name my newly acquired subjects.

Ever since I lost my sense of time, I always ended up doing things at the wrong time.

I really need something to help keep track of time.

I finally entered my evolutionary sleep.

Reika: 「Argent-sama!!」

After two days of sleep-

Sariel: 「I HAVE AWOKEN!!!」

We started on a rocky surface, but as time went on, we became very close, like a family.

They decided to go fetch some more subordinates (worshippers) to help (worship) me when they are not available.

I simply let them do what they want because why not.

After naming them, they all acquired unique skills of their own, making them a force to be reckoned with.

I guess I'm lucky to have them by side.

I also acquired a new skill called timer.

As the skill suggests, it allows the user to manipulate the elements of time.

Sage-san told me to leave the skill to her and

And man, did they take their words seriously.

These idiots proceeded to bring the whole of the silver lineage here.

I never had an interest in my lineage, so I never knew the number of demons born under my lineage.

I apparently had about a hundred million demons born under me.

I was the first demon to ever exist before any other primordial, and I already had hundreds of thousands of them born way before Rouge, so it's only understandable.

There were apparently 2.4 million arch-demons under my lineage, which is larger than any of the lineage under the primordials.

If that was not enough, I also had 41.6 million greater demons under me.

Crazy right, I feel like the king of hell.

I guess the World's Voice really fulfilled my selfish request.

There are also like 57 million lesser demons from my lineage, but they decided to only gather the arch-demons and greater demons.

I now had a force of over 43 million demons in front of me, waiting for a command.

Sariel: 「Well, i have nothing to do with you guys, so I'll just name you all.」

Reika: 「Master. Is that a wise idea?」

Sariel: 「Huh, of course it is. I can't have a bunch of nameless demons under me. How would I identify you that way.」

Arion: 「My liege. Naming nine arch-demons was an achievement on its own, but naming millions of them would only get you killed.」

Sariel: 「Nah. I aint listening to that bs. I'm gonna name you all. Nothing more, nothing less. Got it.」

All: 「H-Hai!」

With that, I began my naming spree. I never understood what they meant until I died from magicule loss.

It was kinda weird. I died and found myself back in my domain.

My magicule pool increased after my resurrection.

I then thought that it would be a wonderful idea to continue this cycle of death and reincarnation continuously as a way to increase my magicule storage.

I understand that you are highly disappointed with me, but please endure my stupidity, eh Sage-san?

「Notice. It is impossible to experience emotions as a skill.」

Thousands of years have passed since I began this new routine.

Name them, die, reincarnate, get stronger, and start all over again.

When the other primordials heard of what I was doing, they were shocked beyond reasoning.

Although it seemed stupid as hell, it was actually an effective way of getting stronger individually along with strengthening my followers.

My "9 Celestial Lieutenants/Generals," which is what I named them, were all demon peers.

Most of the arch-demons under my command have evolved into demon peers.

The greater demons all evolved into arch-demons.

I don't know why, but I feel like I'll get insulted in the future for this, but that is future me's problem.

I think that i already have a force strong enough to conquer the world, but you can never have enough, so I ain't stopping.

Although they have the same evolutionary rank, there is a difference in power levels.

I will discuss it on a later date.

I've now named about 30% of them. There are still over thirty million demons that need names, and I won't fail them.

I am currently naming some greater demons that are still unnamed.

I'm all out of names. I can't continue this shit.

I even named some of them after anime characters in my former world, but this is all I can do.

I was about to name another greater demon when a complex magic circle appeared below me.

「Notice. The magic 『Greater Demon Summoning』has been successfully acquired.」

Huh, how did I gain that skill?

「Answer. With the use of the unique skill 『Replicator』, I was able to replicate the skill used on you.」

Wait! I totally forgot about it! I can literally replicate any arts or magic with no problem.

If that is so, does that mean somebody is summoning me from earth!?

「Negative. This is a separate plane of reality different from what you call earth.

However, the assumption of you being summoned from a dimension similar to earth can be considered possible.」

I see. It's not earth but a world somehow similar to earth.

But the magicules used to summon me are so small.

Will they even succeed in it?

「Negative. However, it is possible to use your own magicule to complete the operation.」

I see, I'll do just that. Let's see what awaits us then.

Tarou: 「Hai, Just leave the rest to us Sariel-sama」
