That Is Not My Sister But Bibi Dong?!

Chapter 75: Ye Tian's Effort to Lower His Presence

Ye Tian glanced slightly at Qian Renxue and said, "I think the Crown Prince wouldn't trouble someone as insignificant as me."

This was, in fact, a reminder to the other party of Qian Renxue's current status.

After all, she was now the Crown Prince of Heaven Dou, while he was just a mere commoner.

Forcing a commoner could lead to undesirable rumors, something a status-conscious person like Qian Renxue wouldn't want to tarnish her reputation over.

Hearing Ye Tian's words, Qian Renxue responded with a faint smile.

"Nobody? I wouldn't say that."

"With your talents and capabilities, even in Heaven Dou City, you wouldn't be outshone."

Her beautiful eyes suddenly locked with Ye Tian's as she said seriously:

"Are you avoiding going because you have something to hide?"

Ye Tian's heart skipped a beat. She had guessed right...

The Qian Gu Shizen was indeed an evil soul master, and this trip to the island was undoubtedly filled with schemes. No one would believe it was innocent. That was the real reason he didn't want to go.

"Then why are you refusing?" Qian Renxue raised an eyebrow.

Ye Tian's calm yet tactful refusal irritated her slightly. Raised in privilege, she had never been refused before.

Whether in the Spirit Hall or Heaven Dou City, everyone she encountered went out of their way to flatter her, let alone reject her.

"How dare you reject the Crown Prince's invitation!" Chief Steward Ode's sharp voice chimed in, ordering Ye Tian arrogantly.

Qian Gu Shizen chuckled lightly and added, "The Crown Prince has already asked twice, Ye Tian. If you refuse again, it would be quite discourteous."

"If you don't want credit for this trip, all it takes is one word from His Highness."

Hearing this, Ye Tian found himself without a retort.

It was clear that Qian Gu Shizen was determined to push him into going.

Ye Tian grew more suspicious. This trip must involve some conspiracy plotted by the Qian Gu Shizen.

His gaze wandered to the ocean, and at the edge of his spiritual perception, a shadowy figure appeared deep within the sea.

Ye Tian realized that this was the submarine of his Polaris squad, which had already taken position.

With his escort in place, it wouldn't be a problem even if he went with them.

Ye Tian sighed, bowed to Qian Renxue, and said, "With such a gracious invitation from Your Highness, how could I refuse?"

Hearing this, Qian Renxue smiled faintly. She had overestimated Ye Tian's resolve—he had agreed after just a little insistence. This made her lose interest in him instantly.

With a wave of her hand, she said dispassionately, "Let's board the ship."

Qian Gu Shizen quickly responded, ushering Qian Renxue onto the ship, then casting a playful glance at Ye Tian.

"Don't worry, His Highness won't trouble you. You're not even worth His Highness's attention."

Although he said this, Qian Gu Shizen was secretly plotting against Ye Tian.

"Heh, once we get there, you'll be fish food," he thought.

Facing this smiling villain, Ye Tian put on an equally cheerful face.

"Thank you for the reminder, Lord Gu Shizen."

If Qian Gu Shizen had no ill intentions, Ye Tian would continue gathering intelligence slowly and report it to the Spirit Hall.

In that case, Qian Gu Shizen would have a few more days to live.

But if he made a move, Ye Tian wouldn't show mercy.

His elite special forces, Polaris, were far from ordinary.

With different thoughts in mind, everyone boarded the large ship.

Strong sailors raised the sails, and with the seasonal winds, they soon set sail for Solo Island, deep in the sea.

The distance between Solo Island and the port wasn't far.

With the wind at their backs, they arrived in just three hours.

Ahead of them lay a desolate island.

Other than a few mossy plants visible to the naked eye, there was nothing else.

Staring at the rugged rocks of Solo Island, Qian Renxue raised an eyebrow and asked a nearby fisherman, "Are you sure Spear Douluo lives on such an island?"

The fisherman looked terrified, "Even if you gave me the courage of a bear or leopard, I wouldn't dare lie to Your Highness!"

"That's for the best," Ode coldly added.

He walked over to the fisherman and whispered menacingly, "If there's no one on the island, you'll be left behind."

Frightened, the fisherman took two steps back, glancing helplessly at Qian Gu Shizen.

Qian Gu Shizen's eyes darkened. Stupid fisherman! Why look at me? If we get exposed, it could all fall apart!

He immediately laughed heartily, reassuring the fisherman, "The Chief Steward is just joking with you. Don't take it seriously."

Standing quietly in a corner of the ship, Ye Tian watched the group, trying hard to reduce his presence.

Spear Douluo had long been dead. He was curious to see how the group would find any trace of Spear Douluo on Solo Island.

Ye Tian's eyes occasionally flickered toward Qian Gu Shizen.

The man was constantly sending unknown signals, likely planning some trick.

Not far away, Qian Renxue frowned slightly after hearing the fisherman's explanation and waved her hand, "Let's go ashore and check."

"Yes," Qian Gu Shizen replied respectfully, following closely behind her.

As they reached Solo Island, the tension seemed to rise.

Qian Renxue's party was focused on finding Spear Douluo on the island, while Qian Gu Shizen kept his attention on Qian Renxue.

Meanwhile, Ye Tian, who had distanced himself from the group, was left alone on the ship, ignored by all.

Ye Tian didn't bother to join them. He leaned leisurely against the ship's railing, watching Qian Renxue's group at a distance.

Not all the crew disembarked. A few sailors stayed on the ship, chatting idly.

Soon, they noticed that Ye Tian hadn't gone ashore.

One of them called out, "Hey, why didn't you go with them?"

Ye Tian chuckled, "Why I didn't go isn't your concern."

"It's not my concern?" The sailor repeated, exchanging glances with the others before bursting into laughter.

The sailor then sneered, "Of course, it's our concern if you stay."

Another sailor chimed in, "Looks like our deck is about to get a bit bloody."

The sailor at the front said, "No need for all of us to bother. He's just a nobody. I'll handle it myself."

Ye Tian remained relaxed, his hands resting on the railing, showing no sign of fleeing.

With amusement in his eyes, he looked at the sailors and said, "So you're planning to attack me, huh?"

"But dying without knowing why isn't very fair, is it?"

The leading sailor, revealing four soul rings—yellow, yellow, purple, purple—along with his leopard spirit, sneered at Ye Tian:

"Fine. Since you're about to die, I'll let you know."

"We are Gu Shizen Lord's subordinates! Our main goal today is to kill the Heaven Dou Crown Prince and frame the Spirit Hall for the crime!"

"So don't feel too bad. You're not the only one who's going to die today!"

"Dying alongside the Heaven Dou Crown Prince is quite the honor for you!"

Hearing this, Ye Tian closed his eyes, still leaning against the railing.

The sailor smirked, "Clever guy, huh? Knowing you can't escape, you've given up resisting."

"Don't worry. I'm quick with the blade. You won't feel a thing."

"Don't blame me for being ruthless; it's just business."

As he spoke, the sailor moved forward, preparing to end Ye Tian's life.

When he was only two meters away, the sailor's soul power began to surge, and his sharp claws slowly rose to strike Ye Tian.

But just as the claws reached their highest point—

There was a muffled sound.

The sailor suddenly felt warmth spreading across his chest.

Looking down slowly, he saw blood soaking through his clothes.

The warmth had come from the blood.

The sailor could feel his life force fading rapidly.
