That Is Not My Sister But Bibi Dong?!

Chapter 73:  Discovered?

"They found the missing Black Spear Douluo?"

Qian Renxue's beautiful eyes flashed with surprise.

Her main mission on this trip to Silvis was to investigate the case of Black Spear Douluo's disappearance.

She didn't expect that Qian Gu Shizhen actually had some skill.

In just a few days, he had already learned the whereabouts of Black Spear Douluo.

"Where is Qian Gu Shizhen now?" Qian Renxue asked.

The soldier respectfully replied, "At the port. According to Lord Qian Gu Shizhen, Black Spear Douluo is on a small island."

Hearing this, Ye Tian was secretly shocked.

Damn, could Qian Gu Shizhen really have found him?

If the other party discovered that he was the one who killed Black Spear Douluo, there would be big trouble.

…No, that shouldn't be the case. Ye Tian immediately shook his head.

Even the people near East Sea City had no idea about Black Spear Douluo's whereabouts.

Qian Gu Shizhen had only arrived at the eastern coast a few days before Qian Renxue. How could he know?

The likelihood of the other party making a wild guess was high.

He was probably trying to impress Qian Renxue in order to receive some rewards.

But regardless of whether the information was true or not, Ye Tian had to be prepared.

Better safe than sorry.

If Qian Gu Shizhen had guessed right and Ye Tian wasn't prepared, wouldn't that spell disaster?

Thinking this, Ye Tian glanced at Qian Renxue.

She clearly seemed very interested in the news about Black Spear Douluo.

She was already eager to leave.

This made Ye Tian feel slightly relieved. Once Qian Renxue left, he would have the opportunity to mobilize his forces and make some precautions to prevent the worst from happening.

As expected, Qian Renxue instructed those around her, "Since we have news of Black Spear Douluo, we can't miss this opportunity."

"Pause the inspection of East Sea School for now. Everyone, make haste to the port of East Sea City."

"Yes!" The guards around her responded in unison.

Just as Ye Tian was about to bow and see Qian Renxue off, she turned to him and lightly said:

"Ye Tian, you're a local here, so you must be familiar with the roads. Lead the way for this prince."

Aude took a step forward, arrogantly saying, "Ye Tian, being able to serve the prince is a blessing for three lifetimes! Hurry up and thank His Highness."

"Thank you, Your Highness," Ye Tian forced a professional smile, though inwardly he was helpless.

Qian Renxue really knew how to order people around.

This made Ye Tian a little anxious.

The port of East Sea also had his people stationed there, but they were too few to form any real deterrent force.

As the saying goes, never fight a battle unprepared. Ye Tian didn't want to put himself in a dangerous position.

His eyes flickered as he spoke, "Your Highness, may I change my horse? The one I rode earlier is tired. If I continue riding it to the port of East Sea , I fear it might cause delays."

"Very well," Qian Renxue agreed casually, not finding it an issue.

Aude impatiently waved his hand, "Be quick. The prince's time is very precious!"

"Understood." Ye Tian, pretending to be nervous, jogged out of the school courtyard.

In fact, he wasn't leaving to change horses but to send a message to his guards.

Finding a secluded place, Ye Tian gave a secret signal.

Immediately, a stern-looking staff member dressed in traditional attire approached him.

"What are your orders, young master?"

Ye Tian calmly replied, "Notify the Polaris Squad to head to the port immediately."

"Understood." The staff member quickly walked away as if he hadn't spoken with Ye Tian at all.

After issuing the orders, Ye Tian went to the stables, randomly chose another horse, and returned to Qian Renxue's side.

By this time, Qian Renxue and her group had already mounted their horses, waiting for Ye Tian.

"Hurry up!" Aude looked at Ye Tian impatiently. The prince's time was precious, after all.

Ye Tian said nothing, only exchanging a knowing glance with Qian Renxue before spurring his horse forward, leading them down a path to the port of East Sea City.

Their horses galloped quickly.

In less than two hours, they arrived at the port.

Qian Gu Shizhen, along with a few soldiers, was already waiting outside the port.

Upon seeing Qian Renxue's figure, Qian Gu Shizhen immediately bowed, "Greetings to the prince."

"This prince is traveling incognito, no need for formalities," Qian Renxue said indifferently, sitting atop her white horse.

"Tell me the information you've gathered."

Qian Gu Shizhen raised his head and glanced at the people Qian Renxue had brought.

When he noticed that Ye Tian was among them, he was a bit surprised.

He didn't expect that Ye Tian had already made contact with Qian Renxue.

However, it didn't matter; Ye Tian was just wealthy. In terms of strength, he couldn't even compare to a soul master.

Such a person had no chance of competing with him.

Regaining his composure, Qian Gu Shizhen respectfully explained to Qian Renxue:

"Your Highness, I learned about Black Spear Douluo from a fisherman."

As he spoke, he waved his hand.

A simple-looking, middle-aged fisherman stepped forward, nervously kneeling before Qian Renxue.

"Greetings, Your Highness."

Upon seeing the fisherman, Ye Tian's heart skipped a beat.

His expression changed slightly but was quickly suppressed.

Could it be that he had really been found out?

If he was discovered, he would have to break with the Heaven Dou Empire.

At the very least, he would be the top fugitive on their wanted list.

For several years, he wouldn't be able to stay on the continent.

Instinctively, Ye Tian took half a step back, ready to flee at the first sign of danger.

If the fisherman said anything incriminating, he'd have to make a run for it.

At this moment, Aude impatiently said, "I've told you, no need for formalities!"

The fisherman quickly nodded and stood up, speaking nervously:

"Your Highness, I saw Black Spear Douluo on an island called Soro Island."

"About half a month ago, a typhoon hit the East Sea."

"The storm came on so suddenly. I was fishing at sea and had no choice but to seek refuge on a nearby island."

"That island was Soro Island."

"Hailstones were already falling, and I was barely able to protect myself from the cold, almost suffering from hypothermia. Fortunately, a scar-faced strongman saved me, allowing me to survive."

Hearing the fisherman's serious story, Ye Tian almost laughed out loud.

At this point, he no longer had any concerns.

This fisherman was clearly lying.

During the typhoon, Black Spear Douluo had been commanding a pirate fleet to attack the Li family. How could he have been on Soro Island?

Obviously, the fisherman was a plant, set up by Qian Gu Shizhen to deceive Qian Renxue.

Even though Ye Tian knew the fisherman was lying, he had no intention of exposing him.

He was curious to see what game the fisherman was playing.

As for whether Qian Renxue would fall for it, that wasn't his concern. After all, it had nothing to do with him.
