Chapter 17: Chapter 17 - One More Round!

There's going to be a lot of girls in the harem but only a few will have huge screen time. So I hope you don't mind.

Once again, feel free to suggest stuff that I can try adding.

Day 2.

6:50 pm, August 12, 2078, Friday.

It was certainly an experience for Testament to be in an entirely new world. This world was both familiar and not. A fiction turns into reality. Though, such reality is as bleak as the shadow that cast from the light. Testament recalls vision of said worlds of unpleasant outcome that befall the heroine in such worlds.

One such example was Yukikaze who fated to lose her mother through a series of events that led to many misfortunes. She would have ended up as nothing but a broodmare of ugly bastard.

Unfortunately for those condemned men that Testament had set his gaze upon would be tormented and face fate worse than death where the wailing of their scream would be a symphony of soothing melody for their victim.

He was no hero and simply intended to satisfy his desire to save them. The Taimanin.

His mind curses upon those creating such horrid games made Testament vomit wishing to do something when he first saw them.

"Hmm? Are you alright?" The young girl's voice stopped, Testament strains of thought turned to face her.

"Ah, I was simply lost in my thoughts. Were you saying something?" Testament couldn't see the young girl, Yukikaze as a fictional entity but real and tangible being feeling a bit responsible in doing something to help her.

Then again, Testament could point to it as being biased as his new physiology is prone to making him desire a woman. Unfortunately, he does not intend to collect them without a proper bond being established. Though, deep inside his heart part of him was longing for more affection. A greedy and ravenous feeling.

"I just was here but can you wait a moment?" Yukikaze's face had a hint of red, realizing her room was a complete mess and didn't want to embarrass herself. Testament knew what's going on and gave a nod.

"Sure. Go ahead." Testament said with a smile that struck Yukikaze's heart feeling to throbbed, confusing her.

'W-What am I feeling right now?' She was confused by this and decided to ignore it for now heading inside her room to clean it, finding her underwear all over the place. Yukikaze quickly fixed the mess and called Testament inside who was impressed by her room.

"That's a spending set up." Testament pondered what the technology of this era is like considering most advanced technology is not available to common people but was confident that their common tech would still be better than what his previous world was.

'I wonder when I died? It's a blur to me.' Testament watched closely as Yukikaze set up a console game.

"So what game do you like to play?" Yukikaze asked.

"It's up to you. I'm not familiar with these games." He looked at the catalog of CD games and found titles that were foreign to him.

"If that is the case then let's try this!? I can teach you the ropes." Yukikaze recommended a simple single player shooter game. Testament noticed her enthusiasm and found it cute letting her guide him as he played the game.

Time weaved in and out as the two enjoyed their time chatting as the two played. Yukikaze was impressed how easily he was learning even though it was his first time. Testament remained humble and never tried to flex his skills considering it was all thanks to his cheat.

It would be unfair to be conceited and act as if his superior even though he didn't deserve it and never worked for it. Though, many would argue it is no different than having more talent and luck than average people but Testament never let it get into his head.

He is not better than anyone. Testament kept his mind and views on keeping moral and integrity leaning more on justice and kindness. Unfortunately, this does not equate to his enemies who he can easily discern the hearts and nature of them.

Testament tries his best to not use his ability to manipulate anyone but show genuine interest and feelings. He may know Yukikaze from the games and wiki information does not mean he act as if he knows them.

To Yukikaze, he was strange despite how the intrinsic abilities of being a Incubus god affects her view on him doesn't mean Testament should act like he knows her.

Testament does feel guilty for taking Mirabell virginity considering she hardly knows him. He noted to message her later to know how she is doing and pondered on gathering new abilities to allow her to visit her at any time.

'I wonder what I should do? I'm not Taimanin nor am I part of the UFS. Perhaps I can speak with Shiranui on what I wish to do.'

He hoped to protect the people in Gosha and frankly everyone who will suffer at the upcoming extermination that might come from Nomad's manipulation. Testament already sent his Incubus imps in handling the matter and intended to manipulate everything to gain control behind the scene.

'I shouldn't be lenient against anyone. My previous life was certainly peaceful and lived leisurely….' His thoughts paused briefly pondering what his life was like before dismissing it.

'Regardless, this world is unforgiving and treacherous, filled with abomination that needs to be cleaned. First and foremost, I need information and control. Hopefully I gain an A.I from my sign in rewards to quicken the speed of my plan.'

Testament knew there were many things needed to be done in order to keep peace and everyone safe. He didn't need to burden himself and could simply turn a blind eye for it wasn't his business but deep inside his heart refused to give in to selfishness.

He decided to put aside his thoughts and simply enjoyed the moment for now since it wasn't the right moment to take action. Testament needed to plan and take every factor into account.

"Wow, you're really good at this. Did you lie about being your first time?"

Her phrasing can be misinterpreted in different ways….

Testament decided to ignore it and glanced at Yukikaze.

"Indeed. The games I've played seem outdated compared to these. The graphics are a lot more realistic but don't remove the entertainment factor." He shared his opinion recalling games such Call of duty, Devil May cry, Metal Gear solid, and many more.

"How about we play a fighting game?" Yukikaze was really having fun teaching Testament while giving small talk. She felt happy that her actions weren't too off putting to Testament since she sometimes says things that might be misinterpreted but Testament was patience and understanding.

"Sure." Testament happily complied and Yukikaze showed an ecstatic smile as she started the fighting games explaining the controls before the two had a competitive fight. Though, fighting games were Yukikaze forte but still showed that she wasn't slouch in playing them.

Yukikaze does invite her classmates and friends over to play the games. She started to mention her friends as the two played the games namely her childhood friend Akiyama Rinko and Tatsuro who were a pair of siblings.

As Testament recalled, in the Canon timeline, she and Rinko both romantically love Tatsuro. He pondered if this was the same in this place. Despite liking Yukikaze, Testament has no intention of stealing her if she truly likes someone. He dislikes stealing women from other men unless is abusive or neglectful.

"They sound like great friends, I would love to meet them." Testament said with a smile.

"Then I'll ask mom if I can show you around. Tomorrow is Saturday, we don't have class." Yukikaze wondered what caused him to get close to him. He was gentle and kind but a bit hesitant since he is still a stranger and finds it odd that she feels this close to him.

But it didn't stop her and her training as Taimanin reminds her that information is key when fighting an opponent. Even though she often disregards these things.

"I see, I'm looking forward to seeing this town. Though, I believe my presence might be suspicious considering I am an outsider." Testament was a demon. Though, if this has elements of another timeline then having demons over shouldn't be new. But still, being vigilant is important.

'Then again, evil Oboro and that bastard Fürst manage to infiltrate this place. Fortunately, I'm here and I can easily capture them if I'm careful.' Testament thought recalling a spin off manga that details those kinds of things.

"Really? You seem though? I think they'll eventually enjoy your company!" Yukikaze speaks from her personal experience seeing how he kept looking at her in a certain way that makes her heart throbbed.

"I'm happy to hear that. Now, up for another pound?" Testament didn't try to refute despite knowing not all Taimanin can be welcoming, especially councils of elders if they have one. Time weaves once more and a knock was heard from the door.

"Yukikaze-Ojou-chan, Testament-dono, dinner is ready." Zenki's voice was heard but had no response and heard laughter inside. He became curious and opened the door then was surprised to see the two having fun.

'How surprising to see Yukikaze-Ojou-chan to act this close with a person she just met. I know she normally feels shy around new faces but I guess Testament has certain effects on Ojou-chan.' Zenki smiled, viewing Yukikaze as his own granddaughter and seeing her happy makes him happy.

"Take this! Wait! How were you able to block that!? Noooo!!" Yukikaze became competitive when Testament was easily beating her.

"That was fun." Testament stated didn't try to let her win considering it might hurt her pride. He played seriously and Yukikaze knew this but still felt overwhelmed by the defeat.

"One more! I can't keep losing!! I'll beat you next round!" Yukikaze pouted in annoyance wanting to win again since it was 1 to 5 where Testament lost the first round but won the next one.

"Hahaha didn't you say it earlier that this was the last round." Testament chuckled wondering if his child with Shiranui would be this cute.

"I know bu-but…" Yukikaze was annoyed by a total noob suddenly beating her! Even if she wasn't that great at fighting games, her pride as a gamer was damaged!

"Alright, let's play later but for now, I think it's dinner time." Testament glance over Zenki and Yukikaze follows his gaze.

"Yes, Shiranui-sama asked me to tell you that it is now dinner time." Zenki said with the nod, turning off the games heading to the dining hall.

'Even the table is long…yet it is only the mother and daughter pair. Can you even call this a clan?'

Testament thought about the massacre and revolt that occurred in the past that damaged the population of Taimanin.

He noticed Shiranui smiling followed by her beautiful smile. Testament felt rather fortunate to have her and be his first in this world.

"Glad to see you two getting along." Shiranui commented, tempted to approached and kiss Testament.

"Yes, it was a lot of fun. Yukikaze-san and I played some video games." Testament said walking over beside Yukikaze.

"Fufufu how rare for her to invite a stranger into her room. Hope you didn't try to 'pounce' her." Shiranui teases her daughter who blush.

"Mom! Don't tease me!" Yukikaze shouted and her mother laughed even further before patting her head.

"Sorry, I can't help it~" Shiranui giggled.

"Well, you two can tell me all about what you did while we had our dinner."

The two took a seat with the two sitting beside the table close to Shiranui who sat at the end of the table. There was a wide selection of meals at the table and the aroma was enticing, tickling their nostrils before digging in.

They began to chatter about what had happened while enjoying their dinner. Zenki sat to the side since he doesn't need sustenance when he is nothing but an astral projection of his former self. Though, he still has all his senses but it doesn't act the same way as human sense does.
