Terraria: Shadow of the Last Light

Chapter 1: Death Is Not Always The End

The sun is rising from the east, and our protaganist is still sleeping, her name is Aurora, she is 19 years old and is an assasin, she has many degrees and an IQ of 247. 4 hours after the sun first rose today, she woke up and began her day, after she finished her breakfast and a quick jog, she started playing her favourite game Terraria.

After a few hours, the time for her job has began, she skips from rooftop to rooftop towards her target's home, her target is a mafia boss that someone offered a lot of money for her to get rid of him. Once she got to the right house she sneakily got inside and searched for him. After a few doors, there was only one door she hasn't opened, one room she hasn't checked.

Once she opened the door more several armed guys were inside and they seemed to be waiting just for her. Bullets started flying towards her yet she was able to dodge almost every single time, the bullets that hit her only hit her suit which is bullet proof, she took out almost every single one of the guys, but than an arrow hit her in the back and piereced through her suit and came out her other side, the place the arrow hit was the heart, she died soon after

After an unknown amount of time

Aurora was waiting in a line getting rather impatiant by how long it is and that she has waited for quite a while.

*Sigh* "How much longer do I have to wait" Aurora said in an annoyed tone.

"Oh shut the fuck up and wait like everybody else!" said the soul behind her with an angry tone.

*Sigh* 'Whatever...'

The place Aurora has been waiting in is the judgement hall, which some call it purgatory. This is the place where souls go the afterlife, whether it's hell or heaven. The floor is golden and shined beautifully once you looked at it, and the majestic sky looked stunningly beautiful, you could even see some meteorites passing through.

The place was infinitely long, and the line was as well.

Aurora waited for days, weeks, months maybe even years, until one moment where in the majestic sky you could see two stars crushed and created an enormous explosion.

*BOOOOOOOOM!!!!*

Everything that was near the explosion destroyed, everything but the line of souls waiting for their judgement, which was protected by an invisible forcefield.

Or at least, it was supposed to be protected...

*Crack*

"Huh?"

A part of the forcefield was destroyed and Aurora was coincidently in that place.

Luckily Aurora wasn't destroyed, but she was still thrown out of the line and into a seemingly endless void.

"AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

Aurora screamed as she hasn't done before, she wasn't used to being scared, and completely helpless. Moments later, Aurora found herself reaching the end of the judgement hall at an incredible speed without signs of stopping or slowing down.

Outside there was...

Emptiness

The feeling of certein death that this place gave her was, Aurora was now truely terrified, she was prepared mentally for hell or heaven, but not this, so she screamed louder than she has in her entire life in the hopes that someone will save her.

Soon Aurora's soul left the judgement hall and entered the void she has seen before she fell, a place where nothing exists and nothing is allowed to exist. Her soul quickly began shattering and being destroyed, the pain was more than she has felt and trained to endure, she is getting erased and there is nothing she can do to stop it, she can only cry and scream out of pain, while every cell in her body is being ripped apart.

Luckily her screams for help were not in vain. The Goddess of Order, one of the two godly beings that rule and balance the universe noticed the anomaly within the void, which was Aurora, and decided to help her out of pity of her soul being erased.

Golden hair, incredibly beautiful skin without imperfections in the slightest, and a golden armor that seemed to represent the Divinity itself, her only presence gave Aeron peace and soothed his pain.

[["Oh poor soul, you who have suffered the explosion of a star and the force of the void because of an error on our part, shall be given a new life, one in which our error will be amended...

Because of the force of the void your soul was being destroyed and is now shattered, hence you are no longer capable of recieving your judgement in the judgement hall, which is why you will be granted a new life to cure and repair your broken soul...

This game "terraria", is very similair to one other world in the vastness of existence, a world which I believe you will find happiness in...

On top of that you will be granted my blessings, so you'll be able to survive and protect the ones you love in this new world... Without any more delay, I wish you luck on your journey young soul"]]

Soon Aurora's soul started shining a golden glow and disappeared

In an unkown place at an unknown distance.

[["Intresting... The Goddess of Order gave her blessing to this mortal soul..."]]

The voice of someone sounded in the darkness, an enormous and very muscular man, seated in which seemed to be a throne made of bones, was resting there in a dignified manner while glancing into the air with his profound red eyes that could traumatize even the bravest of men. He had an enormous dark beard that seemed to be made out of gas and had very sharp nails on his hands that could even put a bear to shame.

Yes this was the omnipotent being, The God of Chaos. The exact opposite of the Goddess of Order.

[["I'm growing quite tired of stories like this, a beautiful journey without much troubles, and the protaganist having a happy life, and having women or men fall in love with them, with barely knowing them at all... They are always predictable and get old fast... Although it's entertaining when the stories crumble and their life falls apart slowly, like the people whom fell in love with the protaganist start fighting each other to the protaganist all to themselves, or someone more powerful kills the protaganist.

Although your enhanced strength can cause chaos in the world you'll be entering, it will probably end up the same way as all have gone until now... So I'll consider yourself lucky, because I'm going to improve your boring destiny, and make things a bit harder and much more interesting for my entertainment in this boring world of mine. Because of course, a divine being like me that controls half of the universe has nothing else to do...

Let's see... Oh so this is the world she chose for you? Terraria? Really an interesting world... I believe I have a subordinate stationed in the area that had an enormous amount of chaotic energy... Very well, you shall go to this alternate world in which humans are the weakest race, a world in which you will be killed in one hit if you're not prepared enough. You shall see the reality of an apocalyptic world where humans are almost extinct, mortal.

This name may be familiar to you, mortal, "For The Worthy", the hardest seed of that game this world is similair to that seed.

I shall you good luck young soul, because you're going to need it, I hope you entertain me a lot with your suffering and chaos in your life before in your life you die... Again."]]

And just like that the course of our protaganist has been changed completely.

What could have been a wonderful adventure for Aurora will be a challenge to even survive, even with the skills she had in her previous life.

Will she survive? Probably, but for how long can she survive? That is the real question.
