Seth hid on a tree inside his glass dome, screaming his heart out.

Due to Lava Scripture in his heart, the burning pain of defeating dragons intensified.

The pain stopped after 30 seconds and he panted before he sat down. He has dispatched the hybrid dragon after getting his aura.

Seth pulled out his Serial Quest and checked.

Seth has defeated 17 dragons. Four of them are Rank 4, each yielding 8 points. 12 of them are Rank 3 and each yield 5 points. Then a hybrid gave him 10 points. All of them yielded 102 points.

With battle perception, Seth was already seeing his shortcomings and things he needed to improve. Things like his timing of defence and attack were bad.

He sat, closed his eyes and reviewed the fight. Digesting the experience he gained.

Phantom Battle Might means the battle might was just a shadow and by doing the quest it was becoming real and his.

During the last fight, he sensed the multiple gazes, and the Battle Might instantly activated, elevating his Exertion Points to 100,000 points. He doesn't know where that Energy came from but he welcomes it.

Then, instinctively, he brought the Red Signature Book to float around him and activated the Three Fold World Fence Skill.

Illusory red strings circled him, even Seth couldn't see them but could perceive their movement at that moment.

Another illusory thing that appeared was the Myrial Wheel Shield. It hugged his body and made him lighter. It also pushed away air and dust from him, allowing only clean and harmless ones to reach him.

On his back, by the left shoulder, Pharaoh's Whip attached itself. It wiggles left and right as if searching for who to smack.

Seth felt he could only add one skill at the moment.

A projected shield blocked the creature while the string lashed on it.

A screech of metal grinding against metal was heard. The hybrid dragon scales were as hard as iron, protecting them from the strings struck.

A heavy pressure descended and somewhat bypassed the protection of Myriad Shield but the whip lashed out.

Even that wasn't enough as a sharp dragon claw flashed before his face.

Azure attire force field blasted them away and Seth recovered. Everything was happening too fast at that time.

A second later, another dragon was behind him and another dragon before him. They all lashed out.

Each attack broke his Forcefield. Seth knew once they exhausted it, he would be reached.

At 13 seconds into the fight, he gained his bearing while in the air. It was another dragon that blasted him with air.

"I shouldn't have allowed them to surround me. Their pressure stacks and prevents movement!" Seth as he analyzed at that moment.

"Another thing was, they were wary of the speed I showed in the last fight. So they are working to prevent me!"

Seth's speed in his last battle wasn't a result of skill but a combination of skill and attributes.

"Whip is my flexible hand. If I had used it properly from the beginning I wouldn't have been pressed." Seth surmised as he recalled the battle.

He pulled out Pharaoh's Whip description.

He affirmed that he should have avoided close combat situations at all times. And Pharaoh's whip was the right tool to aid him in that regard.

However, think as he may, Seth understood that he would always be entangled in close battle until he mastered his skills.

He pulled out Couronne, another invaluable skill which allowed him to have near-perfect vision at all sides.

Seth has been thrashed at first but the moment he employed Couronne, it was like he was the driver and had control of all his wheels.

This skill stood as the sole reason he was able to dominate the fight. Couronne didn't just split his mind to multitask but it provided him with clear focus of everything he landed his eyes on. Making appropriate decisions.

While invoking any skill with it, he doesn't need to focus. With mental cues, everything will act smoothly.

[Three Fold World Fence]

[A defensive fence made of three distinct strings. The first Fold String is the string of Illusory attacks and defence. The second Fold String is the string of corporal attacks and defence. The third Fold String is the string of myriad Attacks and defences.]

Despite the convoluted explanation, Seth found out that only the Third Fold String can attack and defend, the others are sensory.

In that fight, the fence created a strong barrier around Seth that can shrink and expand depending on the situation.

To truly grasp its ability, Seth has to know how to understand the feedback of the sensory strings and then actively manipulate the third string.

However, despite his failure in that regard, the passive action of the third string was able to protect him several times in the fight.

The shield was the last line of defence before his shifting armour. And it deflects attacks with ease.

The shield seemed to just paste itself on his attire and adopt his forcefield and deflect attack using it.

Well, that didn't happen a lot since he always avoided direct attacks that could reach him.

The most significant thing was that all these skills he used in the last fight were not fully active. The Arf book was closed the whole time. It was a phantom application that utilized less energy.

"My battle style is never about physical prowess and firepower. It's about crowd control and manipulation of situations. Using enemies' power against themselves!"

Seth surmised.

He was about to check the description of the other skills when he sensed a presence closing in. His Aura sight swept the direction and he noticed someone flying toward him.

She reached and stood above his glass dome. Her eyes gazed directly at him.

Dream Fortune smiled and said, "That was quite a display of force."

Seth felt annoyed seeing her but controlled his face and nodded with a smile without saying anything.

"When are you leaving for the rendezvous point!?" She asked.

Seth thought for a moment before he said, "In 5 to 8 days I will leave Dragon Burtali. And in 2 weeks afterwards, I may reach there!"

"Okay," She said before she looked around. "Be careful, the tribesmen can summon and even compel adult dragons the deeper you go inside!"

Seth acknowledged her warning before she flew away.

He watched her receding figure until she disappeared. He wondered if she really left or hid to watch him.

Nevertheless, he didn't care, he looked down and thought about how to finish his ordeal here and leave fast.

There was a positive outcome when he made every organ in his body burn for each dragon he defeated. They serve as a baptism for curse resistance.

Another thing was, that his Battle Might is Grade 1 now, he wanted to raise it to at least to Grade 2 or 3.

He also wanted to amass as many different dragon aura, scales, blood and special parts as he could.

The last thing to do was to reach the stele and see what would happen.

Seth readies himself as he watched the dragons below him. They have the body he wanted for experiments and that was hooves.
