It's time for Shen Xiu's lesson again. Du Ze and Lu Piao felt that her lessons were simply pointless and boring. All she did was gabble away at the stage daily.
"Hey, do you know where Nie Li is?" Asked Du Ze, glancing back and forth to see if he missed Nie Li presence.
"I don't know, I haven't seen him all morning, maybe he is just late to the class or too tired to come!" Replied Lu Piao as he scratched the back of his head.
Last night after they were done hunting Nie Li said that he would not hunt anymore and he will be busy in coming day. Nie Li also told them they don't need to give him money from their sharex earning more of their respect, honestly Nie Li couldn't really bother with their megre gains.
In just a few days, Nie Lie led the two of them and earned roughly thousands of Demon Spirit coins and in the end, gave some DSC as well as his valuable guidance. And after he rejected to take money from their shares even after teaching them so wholeheartedly Du Ze fully trusted and admired Nie Li.
Du Ze and Lu Piao were at the back, chatting among themselves. In addition, there were a few commoner students that built good relationship with them.
Just as they were conversing his, Xiao Ning'er, who was sitting at the front row, looked in Nie Li's usual seat. Seeing him not present she turned around.
Last night, after she got the treatment method from him, Xiao Ning'er's body became a lot better, and she slept particularly sweet that night. Xiao Ning'er visited the library early in the morning. She was trying to find the origin of the Daoyin Technique. However, to her surprise, the Daoyin Technique was only briefly recorded in the library.

Which was a weird book. He asked the A. I. Chip to scan it multiple times.
After being sure of that it is remotely safe to take a look at it. He picked it up, on the cover was written :- The Sapient Beastpedia.
With a weird look on his face, He immediately went to the library to see if there is anything about it in the books he has not read, since all the books in A.I.Chip database has nothing about it.
With a once over, he got no results. Although he didn't check them by content, almost all of them are about cultivation and soul. Nothing about the book.
'Maybe if I read it all, I can find something?' Nie Li thought as he looked at the remaining books he has to read.
It will take a few more day to finish them all, even if he did nothing but read continuously all day long.
'Why am I being so paranoid, let's just see what it is about.' Nie Li thought as he was about to open it. As soon as the book was opened a white light flashed and enter his mind.
[An anomaly has been discovered in the brainwaves of the host!] The A.I. Chip's voice sounded.
[A data interface has been discovered, start transmitting or not?] The A.I. Chip's voice sounded.
"Begin!" Nie Li command, he got a gut feeling that, this is something to do with the system.
Following his commanded, an acute pain entered his brain, as if someone filled it with lead.
"This is... " Nie Li grabbed his head, and discovered that many images and words appeared in his brain along with the pain.
This information appeared out of nowhere and was firmly imprinted in Nie Li's mind.
After some time, he finally recovered from the pain, but he was still feeling groggy.
'This information is about many types and kinds of demon beasts, and much more detailed that the ones in the library. It is filled with relevray information about their habitat, ability, weakness as well the usage to materials obtained from them.' Nie Li finally understood what this book is about, now the question is how it appeared in his inventory.
'One thing is clear—it has to do something with the system, so it must be a hidden quest reward, I guess?' Nie Li thought as he tilted his head.
'But for what? I am not done yet reading the whole library, if that's something to be rewarded for? I studied about different herbs but that shouldn't be something that concerns Beast, I helped Xiao Ning'er but that not it either. So, the only thing it could be is 'The Hunt'
'Why so late though.....' Nie Li started to unconsciously walk towards the classroom, he was quite late and the classes were about to start.
He has some mixed feelings about the classes, In reality when he first got here, he listened to Shen Xiu lecture very carefully but, as he started to go through the books and copy the content of different books in Library and matching those to her teaching, he was flabbergasted at her wrong description.
Although she is not teaching anything so wrong to cause deviation in cultivation, the thinking is too narrow and very small scaled.
Nie Li could see that their knowledge is just a shallow and misinterpreted version of the original. It's efficiency and end result are too diminished, Right now in Glory City the only way to become strong is a fairly complementary cultivation techniques which suits them, supported by good innate talent and lots of elixir.
In short, only way to become powerful and successful here is— Talented at birth, Lucky in getting a good cultivation techniques and born in a rich family.
What is the meaning of a classes then? Your shallow knowledge has pushed you to the point where a commoners have simply little to no way to succeed. Knowledge is the key, but that is exactly what they lack. With proper knowledge even a crab can transform into a dragon.
'Maybe the major Families just doesn't want to share the true knowledge to the masses or even worse they don't know about it either!' Nie Li sighed as he thought about the tales of Ye Mo, The only Legend Rank in Glory city who was a Commoner.
His success indicates the vaccum of high class knowledge in the top level as well. Since they too bowed to his innate talent, If they were really hiding the truth, they won't have tolerated his existence and even if they did, not to the extent of making him the undisputed leader as head of Ye family.

"Oh shit, Iam gonna be late!" Nie Li exclaims as starts to run towards the class, Although he consider it be a waste of time he still think it will be a bad idea to just ditch the class. Although Shen Xiu is a pain in the ass for commoners, Nie Li parents and family elders have spend their hard earned money to send him here.
He decided that as long as he can bear and Shen Xiu doesn't annoy him, he will attend the classes normally, to not bring any unwanted trouble. Until and unless he have something better to do that is.
As the bell for lesson to start rang, Shen Xiu twisted her waist, and walked into the classroom. Unlike her usual arrogant attitude, the smile on her face looked like a chrysanthemum.
Behind her Nie Li swoops inside the class and stops after seeing her already there.
"Go to your seat!" Shen Xiu said, looking at Nie Li. There're VIP's here to observe her lectures, naturally she wouldn't make a scene.
"Today I'm going to talk about Inscription Patterns. Whether if it's fighters or demon spiritists, Inscription Patterns are very important. Inscription Patterns are separated into two parts, respectively the Enchanting Patterns and the Battle Patterns. Enchanting Patterns can be inscribed on armours and weapons. As it can greatly enhance the combat abilities those armours and weapons, especially if it's used by a Demon Spiritist, they can make use of weapons and armours with Enchanting Patterns on it to release far more power than their base strength. As for Battle Patterns, they are used with Inscription Pattern Scrolls. By inscribing it onto the scroll and then activating it, can have a sudden burst of fighting power!"
As Nie Li sat down Shen Xiu started the class and the shocking thing is, Shen Xiu began saying substantial content today. 'Why did she not punish me or even berate me, along with her teaching style and content today, I feel something is wrong!'
Nie Li had a weird feeling but he couldn't put his finger on it, instinctively he asked the A.I. Chip to scan the room.
[Beep! Scan failed! Interference in the Soul Force! Targeting origin of error! Anomaly found! In the South Direction of the Host, Around 10 meters away]
'What!' Nie Li was shocked for a moment but quickly calmed down,'There is someone here huh. Now it makes sense.'
Nie Li understood the reason for Shen Xiu change in character. He sat straight and appear as though he was taking Shen Xiu words to heart. He wants to act normal and refined in front of these mysterious men.
