Eryx noticed the suspicious glance Lin Ninger gave him. He wasn't foolish; he immediately grasped what she was thinking. Without hesitation, he distanced himself from Leon and Mira.

Leon and Mira were taken aback. Their lips twitched as they observed Eryx's sudden shift in behavior. Just moments ago, he had been speaking with them normally, but it took less than a second for him to create distance between them. His actions were truly an eye-opener.
