NOVEL NEXT Chapter 46: I Have no Leverage or Evidence!
(Ramona’s POV)
Bullshit! Bullshit… This is fucking bullshit!!! Why is Syrilblia so squeaky clean!? There wasn’t anything that I could dig up that would prove she was a horrible person…
Her crimes that were depicted in the novel… either didn’t happen, or she had them completely covered up. The ones that should be dead… are indeed dead. That much is true.
But the survivors of her crimes… they act as if they know nothing about Syrilblia at all. Yeah, like I am just supposed to just believe that. So, you went from living in an alleyway, to living in a decent house, huh?
Fucking spineless fools! They must have been completely paid off by Syrilblia! All this goddamn effort, and absolutely nothing to show for it…
In the novel, such a rule was never mentioned. But not being able to leave the Academy was horrible… I had to bribe so many people so that I wouldn’t get caught.
After all that, I was now just left with no pocket money remaining, and nothing that I could use against Syrilblia. Even worse… she didn’t commit crimes in the Academy, either.
Ramona: “…”
Though, I know for a fact that she murdered those nobles, but their family was absolutely not willing to accuse her of it. No one was on my side…
What utter bullshit! Why does she get a mind control cheat, while I get no cheats at all? Huh!? She got to reincarnate as a main character, but I got stuck as some nobody random ass noble girl…
I wish that I would have been reincarnated as the main character… With her beauty, even without cheats, I would be more than able to get my way. My last hope is to convince a teacher of Syrilblia’s evilness.
Ramona: “Teacher Flare, you have to believe me… Syrilblia is an evil woman who mind controls people!” I exclaim with a serious and confident tone.
Flare: “Lady Syrilblia, you said? Lady Ramona… You’d be wise to not speak of such slander like that.” She said with a scolding tone.
Ramona: “…Why don’t you believe me, Miss Flare? Don’t you see how Lady Priscilla and Lady Beatrice stick with her? There should be absolutely no reason to do that... unless they were being controlled!” I reply.
Flare: “Their decisions are theirs to make, little lady. And mind control magic? Aren’t you aware that such magic has long since vanished from this world? It wasn’t forgotten, as a Goddess had erased its existence fully.” She explained.
Ramona: “…”
Flare: “In the records, there are a few demon species that can somewhat mess with people’s minds. But not even they had any mind control magic.” She added.
Ramona: “That’s it! Syrilblia must be a demon!” I happily exclaim.
This is perfect! Now I know how she is able to control those two… Rather just reincarnate as Syrilblia, her body’s race was changed into that of a demon! Haha! I got you now, Syrilblia! The church won’t sit around once I accuse you of being a demon!!! Wait… does the church even exist in this world?…
Flare: “Child… have you hit your head, or are you unwell?” She asked with a concerned tone.
Ramona: “No. I am perfectly fine.” I deny with a confused tone.
Flare: “Then… you are aware that demons were all killed off more than a thousand years ago, don’t you?” She replied.
Ramona: “…”
Flare: “Accusing Lady Syrilblia of being a demon… That is a crime that you’d be executed for, even if her family wasn’t powerful. Silly girl, you should drop this whole thing. I do not know what grudge you have against her, but this path of yours will not end well for you.” She advised with a serious tone.
Ramona: “You’re right… sorry.” I say with a remorseful tone.
After she walked away, I punched the wall. Which was a bad call, as it actually hurt my hand somewhat… I refuse to believe her words… Syrilblia… you’re a demon, I am so sure of it!
No demons exist? At the very least, there was one demon in the novel. Specifically, it was a succubus. This was the cheat that she got… Rather just reincarnate like that, some higher power had taken away that succubus, and changed Syrilblia’s race.
How else would she be able to control them? I… I just need to convince others of this fact! Flare… I doubt that Syrilblia is controlling her.
That woman is just too powerful. Rather, I was just not convincing enough. Now, I just need to talk to others…

Why, why… why!? No one believed me… And now, I must be seen as some crazy person by everyone. Syrilblia must know that I have been claiming that she was a demon…
I think at least someone would believe me, but no! All the faculty just looked at me like I was insane. The students… they acted the same way.
Male Student: “Hey, you have been saying that Lady Syrilblia is a demon, right?” He asked.
Ramona: “Uh…” I nervously reply.
Who the hell was this? He didn’t seem like an important character… For what reason would he come talk to me? Is… is he upset about my claims on Syrilblia?
Male Student: “That woman is surely a demon! None of the female students will look our way, almost always claiming that they had something to do with Lady Syrilblia…” He exclaimed with an angry tone.
Male Teacher: “I agree. The same has happened to the female faculty members. Even the supposedly married Lady Flare doesn’t wear a ring anymore. And she doesn’t like it when someone brings up her husband.” He added with a scoff.
Other Male Student: “Then we’re in agreement about her origins… Lady Syrilblia is a demon that can only mind control other females.” He said with a confident tone.
Other Male Teacher: “First, to test her powers, she has controlled all the females on campus. Clearly, she won’t limit it to just this area… We have to stop this horrible monster before she ruins the world!” He exclaimed, rousing their anger and excitement.
Ramona: “…”
Heh, this will work… I was a fool to just talk to other women about this. As it is that kind of novel, this world is heavily biased in favor of female’s interaction with men. Now, I will just have to calmly plan out her destruction.
Ramona: “I agree, but now that she knows about her cover being revealed, we need to take this slow. Syrilblia, that demon bitch, has the females in her control already.” I say with a serious tone, biting my finger nail.
Male Teacher: “You were the first to speak up about this, and reveal Lady Syrilblia’s true identity. As such, we will go along with your plans.” He agreed.
Male Student: “I agree! If we try to do something, we will just be dealt with by that demon. Surely, she hasn’t gotten to Lady Ramona just yet. She is our only hope!” He exclaimed with a smile.
Ramona: “Thank you so much, everyone. I won’t let you down, and we will stop that evil demon once and for all!” I say with a proud tone.
Perfect, perfect, absolutely fucking perfect! Evidence? Who the hell needs that when you can trick stupid me into doing your bidding? I should have done this from the start…
What a foolish woman… Syrilblia should have seduced the men as well. This was a glaring mistake on her part, one which I will relish in taking advantage of. Stupid bitch… I will see your head roll within a reasonable timeframe, I swear this!!!
