Chapter 14: Meeting Serena.
(Syrilblia’s POV)
Upon reaching our destination, I was shocked to see the witch’s shop… It kinda just looked like a normal, fantasy-like potion shop from a game… or something along those lines.
Marina: “You aren’t scared?” She asked with a confused tone.
Syrilblia: “Why would I be scared?” I reply with a head tilt.
Carna: “You do realize that witches are feared, don’t you?” She said with a raised eyebrow.
Syrilblia: “So? Why should I care what other people think? For me, of the people in the world, I only care about the ideas and opinions of you two. And I have never met a witch before.” I reply with a smile.
Carna: “…”
Marina: “That’s nice and all… but why aren’t you scared?” She repeated.
Syrilblia: “Again, I don’t think that I have a reason to be scared.” I reply with a shrug.
Is it because of the world that I came from? Witches didn’t exist at all, only in fiction. In the novel, the few witches that were mentioned were all good. Rather than monsters, they were just social outcasts. But outcasts by their own design and choice.
Marina: “Now I am not so confident about this…” She said with a sigh.
Carna: “Lack of confidence? If Syrilblia isn’t afraid, then she won’t have any problem having sex with Serena.” She said with a grin.
Marina: “I messed up by thinking Syrilblia as a person of this world… Now I have a fear that she might fall in love with Serena.” She explained.
Syrilblia: “Marina, you don’t have to worry about that.” I say with a warm tone.
Marina: “How can I not worry? Serena is very attractive, and so are you. Not to mention, but you’re very good at sex…” She said with a sad tone.
Syrilblia: “Originally, I planned to seduce you so that I wouldn’t end up dying. Thrown into a cruel and basically unknown world, that was what I thought I needed to do, just to survive.” I reply.
Marina: “…”
Syrilblia: “But… after our first night together, I ended up falling in love with you. I was fully intent on never having a wife in the life before this one, and I didn’t wish to have one in this life, either.” I continue.
Marina: “…What changed?” She asked.
Syrilblia: “I already said it, Marina. I fell in love with you. We don’t just have good sexual compatibly, I also feel a strong, spiritual connection to you. One that I cannot truly explain.” I answer.
Marina: “I feel the same, Syrilblia.” She said with a smile before kissing me.
The kiss was short, but oh so very sweet… Getting out of the carriage, I waved them goodbye. The carriage was mostly hidden, with nothing signifying our family. But I wasn’t disguised.
Syrilblia is known to be a little brat, so her going to have a romp with a witch… isn’t something that would be surprising at all. Swallowing my saliva, I walk into Serena’s shop.
Serena: “Welcome… Oh? You’re pretty cute…” She said with a smile.
At first, her voice lacked any emotion, which showed how little interest she had for most people. But once she saw me, her face lit up, and her voice turned… sweet.
When you read novels, witches are either lolis, grandmas, or young women. On occasion, they will end up being mature women. Serena was… she was a milf, that I cannot deny.
Serena had beautiful, deep green hair. Her breasts weren’t too big… but were the size befitting her looks as a mature woman. Oh… is that another reason why they are feared?
Serena: “What can I help you with?” She asked with a bright tone, getting up from the counter, and walking over to me.
Her eyes… they didn’t have a color. She wasn’t blind, no. That much was clear by how she looked me all over multiple times. Instead, they were a green “color” but not really. Her eyes were… space? A black void, with small stars that were green, and one large green star in the middle.
Serena: “You seem to be lost in my eyes… Aren’t you afraid of me?” She said with an unsure tone.
Syrilblia: “I have no biases against you, or your kind, Serena. Not to mention, but you’re very beautiful.” I reply.
Serena: “And my eyes? You didn’t comment on them yet…” She replied.
Syrilblia: “They’re beautiful as well. Honestly, I could easily look into them all day and not get bored even slightly.” I answer with a smile.
Serena: “Curious…curious… I sense Carna on you, but not even she likes to look into my eyes.” She said with her arms crossed.
Am I missing something here? I don’t care much that she knows that I am related to Carna in some way. Rather, why would anyone be afraid of witches? At least from my limited understanding of this world, they aren’t the only ones that can use magic.
Serena: “…You seem so confused. If you’re willing, can I delve into your memories? If I do, I can know what you need from me, and I can also understand you more.” She proposed.
Syrilblia: “I don’t mind, but will it hurt? And what if you tell others what you saw?” I reply with a head tilt.
Serena: “I will not divulge any information that I learn from your memories. I swear that upon my honor of a witch. Oh, and, it won’t hurt.” She swore with a serious tone.
Syrilblia: “Sure, it makes this easier.” I agree.
Serena: “Good, good… Now, I will hold onto your shoulders, and you just have to look into my eyes.” She explained.
Doing as she said, I stared deeply at her once more. I felt myself getting lost in her eyes… I also felt the desire to kiss her lips. They looked so tasty… This wasn’t cheating, at least, it wasn’t on my part. After all, Serena started to look like Marina.
Ah, I get it now… That’s why they’re feared. In such a world, women aren’t really seen to be equal to men. Most women must have grown up hearing stories about witches. Such as how they will seduce you, and turn you astray from being straight.
In a sense, witches in this world basically double as succubuses. And even they didn’t go around seducing random women, which, they don’t seem to do, the idea that they can look through your memories like this… It is no wonder why they’re feared.
That doesn’t change my opinion of Serena or other witches, though. I don’t wish to think myself above other humans, but I will not fall into the trap of being scared of something that I do not fully understand.
Serena: “…This world is a novel?” She asked.
Syrilblia: “From my point of view, it is. But looking through my memories, you should know that I don’t believe it is anymore.” I deny.
Serena: “Yes… the world isn’t like the novel world. It is very much different, and in many, many ways…” She replied with a thinking pose.
Syrilblia: “My theory is that this world was just created out of thin air, using the novel as a base. In that sense, my theory agrees that each written fictional story… probably ends up as its own dimension.” I added with a thinking pose of my own.
Serena: “Once you deal with your father, I would love to be invited to your estate. Unlike the humans of this world, just by how the world that lived in was like, you’re very interesting.” She asked.
Syrilblia: “I would love that, but don’t fall in love with me. Marina already has my heart.” I reply with a serious tone and expression.
Serena: “I don’t want your heart, Syrilblia. And, after tonight, I won’t want your body, either. Instead, I would love to pick your brain more.” She replied.
Syrilblia: “More? Haven’t you already picked it clean?” I reply with a raised eyebrow.
Serena: “I know of your memories, not your thoughts.” She denied.
Syrilblia: “That’s true. Not to mention, but memories are just vague recollections made by your brain. In that sense, all you got were mists of my memories, not the full genuine article.” I reply with a laugh.
Serena: “Really… how interesting! I wait with bated breaths for our future conversations. For now, you’re fine with doll-play, as you call it, right?” She asked.
Replying with a nod, I was then led into the upper area of the store. I guess that Serena lives here? Granted, it wasn’t like a witches or potion shop that you’d normally think of it. The store was actually very clean and proper, and that went for the rest of her “house” as well. Though, further in, Serena revealed something absolutely crazy to me…
