Swordmaster youngest son [Jay Runcandel]

The Next day, Strom castle;

Jay was playing with his pendent but in reality he was thinking of something else.

"After waking up today, I am feeling that something begin to change my body and protecting me secretly but I can't reach that existence. Another thing is that my brother Jin is seeing me with wierd eyes, like he is wary of me. I don't know why, didn't he see me begin disqualified from fight of flagbearer? Well, who cares. For now I have to focus on finding the way to gain power of soul king in my body."

After thinking about this he again began to play with the Quincy cross.

At night, When Jay was sleeping peacefully and dreaming about his future where he cut his enemy with one strike of his sword, suddenly his consciousness is pulled into his inner world. But he has no idea what is happening to him.

After sometime he began to hear something, like someone is calling him.

"...e ....p, ...ay"

"W..... up, Ja..."

"Wake up, Jay"

When he heard the voice clearly, he suddenly woke up. But he became stunned when he found out that he isn't baby or to be specific his body is of 20+ year old. And he is not in the storm castle, but in a vast land without anything. It's look desolate, without any life.

After thinking of something he stand up and began to walk forward. After walking for sometime he saw a door. It feel strange for him who just a moment ago saw nothing here.

The door looks ordinary but if you look closely there are some words on it. The word is 'Black'.

When he saw it, he felt that this is the way he can gain access to his power and technique that Soul King gave him. So he walked forward to reached the door, upon reaching the door he open it. At first he tried to look into it but he can't see anything else but white light. It's like the curtain of white light covering his sight.

Expecting the result he walked into it. Suddenly a white light blinded his eyes, after sometime the lights gradually disappeared and leave a sight to behold.

He is in the middle of sea, standing on the surface of the water like it was ground. Around him is nothing but vast sea, just like before entering the door it was a vast desolate land. As far as he can see, there is only sea and blue sky. Not even fish swiming or bird chriping can be seen.

Suddenly a man appear in front him. He is startled by the sudden appearence of the man.

"You finally came, Jay." The man said. He is wearing a black coat that covers his both hands. He has black hair and deep blue eyes and wears a goggle.

Seeing the person in front of him, Jay realizes that the time has finally came when he can gain the power bestowed upon him by Soul King.

"Who are you? And where is this?"

Despite knowing the answer, he asked the man.

"Hmm, It seems like you want to hear the answer from me. Fine, I am Zangetsu[Black]. I am the manifestation of Quincy powers in you and the time has came to you to recive your powers. And without training, any power will be go in vain, So brace your self." When he said it, Jay minds began to remember what Soul King said to him when he gave his power.

At that time Soul King clearly said that he will give him his lifelong experience and technique, after being born he finds quite confusing that why he didn't have memories of Soul King as he think experience as memories of Soul King's life. But now he understand that the experience Soul King is talking about is to experience myself the technique he was given to him. But he still has some doubts about that why Zangetsu appears in his inner world or why Zangetsu was chosen to teach him?

Understanding the doubt of Jay Zangetsu says;

"I understand your doubts. That why I was in your world or why am I teaching you? The answer is that As I said that I am the manifestation of your Quincy power but besides me their are also Soul Reaper, Hollow And Fulbringer's power manifestation in your inner world as you're the candidate to become Full Soul King. This is the reason why I am here and after you fully get the power of Quincy I will merge with you or to be specific your inner world."

After hearing Zangetsu explanation my doubts cleared and seeing this Zangetsu also nodded. As he knows that some things should be described earlier than later.

"So, are you ready for training?because it is going to be long time before you fully gain this power." Zangetsu said with seriously looking at as to tell me the importance of this power.

After hearing Zangetsu he also nodded in approval, but thinking of something he asked.

"Zangetsu, what are you going to teach me? Is it swordsmanship?"

"No, although I know you want to be a swordsman but now is not the time as you are only a child now so I am going to teach you some basic of Quincy technique." Zangetsu replied to Jay in stern tone.

"All the combat methods or techniques used by a Quincy mainly relied on the Manipulation of Spirit energy. So first, you need to learn how to manipulate spirit energy."

Upon hearing this, Jay also nodded in approval. Because he knew what a Quincy is.

Quincy is a race of spiritually aware human beings. Even though they are humans, but they have ability to perceive and manipulate spiritual particles present in air or environment.

Seeing Jay silent, Zangetsu began to explain, how to manipulate spirit energy.

"First, sit cross legged and close your eyes. Then, clear your mind and feel the spiritual particles in the air."

Jay did as Zangetsu said. After sitting cross legged, he closed his eyes, clear his mind and began to feel the spiritual particles in the air.

He didn't know why, just after clearing his mind, he began to feel the spirit energy.

There are lots of shiny dots, glowing, some like firefly and some like light bulbs.

Thinking of something, he tried to control them, but he failed. Not only he failed but also exited from his state of concentration.

Seeing, Jay exited from his state of concentration, Zangetsu asked.

"Do you feel the spiritual particles?"

"Yes " Jay replied.

"Do you try to control them?"

Hearing this, Jay became embarrassed.

"Yes, but I failed." He said.

"There is nothing wrong with failing, cause your method is wrong. You are not on that level, where you can control spiritual particles as you please. It take time and hard work. So, do what you did before and after you feel the spiritual particles, try to call them with your heart."

Knowing what he did wrong? He tried again.

This time, after feeling spirit particles, he didn't start calling them immediately, but he observed more.

After observing for sometime, he started calling them.

At first nothing happened, not even budge. But he didn't give up and called them again.

After the third try, spirit particles began to stir. And at 11th try they began to move towards him. Seeing this he became happy and try again.

But, to feel the spiritual particles and calling them required mental strength and after trying several times, his mental strength is almost depleted.

Seeing Jay exhausted, Zangetsu stopped him to try again.

"Stop, Jay, you need to know that gaining strength is necessary but consider yourself is much necessary. You are just a child now, so you have sufficient time. So, don't rush it. It will only make things worse."

Although Jay knew this, but he is not willing to left behind, after all, Jin has his previous life knowledge of magic but he is just started now, that's why he is working hard.

"I know that you want to be powerful really quick, but power don't come suddenly, you have to work for it. Also, I have to warn you about one thing that, you are in spiritual state now that's why your appearance is of adult, but your body is still of a child and a child body is fragile to hold much spiritual particles. So stop it or you will regret in future." After saying this, Zangetsu words came to halt.

Jay sighed after listening to Zangetsu.

Knowing the dangers involved in over practice, he stopped his attempt immediately.

He understands now, he still has 10 years.

Seeing Jay like this, Zangetsu nodded.

"Well, your training ends today. But remember, this is just beginning and real training starts from tomorrow."

Hearing this, Jay stood from ground and give Zangetsu a bow.

"I understand. I am ready to face any training,....Teacher."
