Swallowed Star: The Sacred Eye of Duplication

Chapter 52: Chapter 52: The Ship Is Realized!

The water realm unfolded. Ye Yun, wearing the Black God suit, was unrestricted in the deep sea. His movement speed was nearly identical to his speed in the air. Guided by the Momo Fish's detection, Ye Yun approached the seabed.

The seabed in this area lay about 5,100 meters below the surface, and Ye Yun's target, Ruins No. 12, was 3,300 meters beneath the seabed.

Ye Yun dove rapidly. The sea monsters he encountered along the way noticed him and attacked one after another. Ignoring them, Ye Yun pressed forward, dispatching any monsters in his path instantly. None managed to slow him down.

At a depth of over 5,000 meters, Ye Yun reached the seabed. After determining his direction, he pierced through the seabed's rocks, continuing to descend.

The 3,300 meters underground were covered quickly. Upon arrival, Ye Yun stopped and fully extended his mental power. What appeared within his perception was an oversized battleship. However, the ship was damaged, and time had further decayed it. Only traces of its original grandeur could be faintly discerned amidst the rust and ruin.

Quickly locating a damaged section, Ye Yun entered the warship. The vessel had been explored many times by Hong and others over the years, leaving nothing of value behind. Without wasting time, Ye Yun followed Momo Fish's guidance toward a secret cabin within the warship—home to the real Ruins No. 12.

Moments later, Ye Yun arrived outside the cabin. The original cabin door was exposed, revealing a small spaceship parked inside.

The spaceship, shaped like a flying saucer, was entirely black, about 100 meters in diameter—miniature by most standards. A giant double-winged dragon emblem adorned its hull. Despite its prolonged entombment underground, the spaceship showed little corrosion and remained well-preserved.

Ruins No. 12, considered one of Earth's three Jedi places, was this small, black, flying-saucer-shaped spaceship. Planetary-level powerhouses like Hong and Thor had failed to access its interior, losing many lives in the process. For years, no one had dared to attempt another exploration.

Standing before the pure black spaceship, Ye Yun's eyes gleamed golden as he scanned it. This time, the copying process took far longer than usual. After a full minute, a small, perfectly accurate spaceship model appeared in Ye Yun's sea of consciousness.

The model brought considerable pressure to Ye Yun's mental functions. He realized that without his planetary-level breakthrough, the scanning and copying process might have been too burdensome and could have failed entirely.

Despite the challenges, the goal was achieved. Ye Yun exhaled in relief, quickly leaving the seabed to return to his intelligent fighter.

Seated comfortably, Ye Yun gently rubbed his temples. The figure of Momo Fish appeared beside him, its large head nuzzling against Ye Yun's legs. Smiling faintly, Ye Yun pinched its big face, his taut nerves relaxing.

The dive was only the first and simplest step in Ye Yun's plan. The subsequent steps promised to be far more time-consuming and complex.

Instead of heading home, Ye Yun directed his intelligent fighter to fly in large circles before landing on a desolate, uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean.

The island, roughly circular and about a thousand meters in diameter, was barren. No plants grew; only rocks and sand filled the landscape.

"Momo Fish, make sure to block any detection from Earth."

The Momo Fish nodded gently, releasing small bubbles as it encircled Ye Yun.

Confident in the Momo Fish's abilities, Ye Yun retrieved a peculiar metal device from his watch's storage space. The device, about half a meter tall, featured a silver funnel at the top and a chassis-like tray at the bottom.

With the sun blazing above, Ye Yun activated the device. The funnel began to spin faster and faster, capturing sunlight, while the tray emitted a brilliant golden light.

Seeing this, Ye Yun activated the Mu Ya crystal model in his sea of consciousness. Extending his right hand, he guided the tray's golden light with his left. Within minutes, a flawless white Mu Ya crystal materialized in his hand.

Over two hours, Ye Yun produced a pile of Mu Ya crystals—over two hundred in total.

Pausing, Ye Yun consumed a green, grape-like fruit, squeezing out a single drop of crystal-clear juice. Swallowing it, he felt his exhausted spirit rejuvenate, his complexion regaining its vitality.

Comfortably seated on a pre-prepared sofa, Ye Yun summoned a massive roasted chicken leg and began eating while calculating the time required for his plans.

The earlier experiment had clearly succeeded. The energy aggregation machine—a device for absorbing and transforming energy—had proven its worth. It was an artifact Ye Yun had copied from Hong's treasury, later repaired by the Momo Fish.

After finishing his meal, Ye Yun resumed materialization. By nightfall, piles of Mu Ya crystals surrounded him.

The energy aggregation machine also had limited cosmic energy absorption capabilities, but its efficiency was lower. As darkness fell, Ye Yun switched to daily training. Recent efforts focused on honing his domain skills rather than enhancing physical or mental strength. His water domain had been fully mastered at the first level, and he was now delving into the light domain, merging Hong's insights with his own talents.

The night passed swiftly. At dawn, Ye Yun resumed creating Mu Ya crystals.

Over the next month, Ye Yun stayed on the desolate island, accumulating an astonishing number of Mu Ya crystals. The sight of so many crystals—each capable of creating a planetary-level powerhouse—would leave anyone stunned. Yet, here they were, piled up like common corn cobs.

After dispatching a few sea monsters drawn by the crystals, Ye Yun deemed the number sufficient. Further accumulation risked attracting more disturbances, signaling it was time to enact the next phase of his plan.
