"Ahh" , "thank goodness we are done with school for today", Blake stretched out his limbs as he said.

"Yeah I know that feeling and I love it" , blake and I bursted out laughing.

"look at them very lazy and stingy !!", Bassam said with a look of disgust on his face.

"what's wrong with this boy ?", Blake pointed at Bassam as he said.

"Who knows maybe he's hungry, can't you see how pale his face is", I replied to Blake's question.

"Ah!!", "poor boy but I don't think that's the problem, I think the problem is that he is sad that he isn't in our class so he couldn't get a drink", "to make matters worse, we didn't give him from our drink when he asked for it", Blake said with a mocking grin and Bassam who was the target in our discussions just keeps walking and his eyes continue to twitch.

"BAM!!", Diana slammed her fist on Blake's head.

"Ouch sister Diana what's that for ?", Blake used both of his hand to hold where Diana had just knocked him.

"Why is your mouth running some much like tap water ?", Diana raised her fist again and Blake walked forward hurriedly creating some distance between him and Diana.

"what!!", "I didn't do anything wrong!!", Blake protested.

"watch your blabbering mouth", Diana replied.

"I'm doing all these in the honor of my buddy Ryan", "I'm certain if he is here he would have done worse", Blake said.

"Yeah I'm sure if Ryan was here he would have choose someone among you guys to wreck havoc on", I said.

"Hmph you are not excluded", "the only person excluded from this list is my sister Diana", "even Flaming isn't excluded", Blake said with a smile.

"I'm really surprised Ryan chooses not to go to*. school today, I said.

"Seriously Ryan the book worm and game worm choose not to go to school is really really surprising", Blake replied.

"I think he misses his girl Layla", Bassam said plainly.

"Layla!!", Blake muttered and then suddenly his eyes widened, "wait that's true I haven't heard him say anything about Layla these past few days", "more importantly I haven't seen Layla since after their date , could it be that they broke up and Ryan is silently drowning in sorrow of loosing his first girlfriend ?", Blake narrated all these nonstop by the time he finished his narration he was panting.

"Bro take a chill pill", "life is short don't give yourself BP because of another person's problem that doesn't concerns you so you may live longer", I patted Blake's shoulder as I said.

"It's your fucking mouth that's going to have BP for you to even tell me this nonsense in the first place, wild animal", Blake was panting as he completed his rapping.

Bassam who was a few meters ahead of Blake stopped walking, when Blake got to his side he placed his hand on Blake's shoulder.

"Ahh!!, "that hits a nerve right?", Bassam giggles lightly as he Said.

"Get away from me" , Blake forcefully pulled away Bassam's hand from his shoulder.

"Ouch I'm sure that hit a nerve again, sorry bro I feel your pain", Bassam waves his hand at Blake and he began to walk ahead of Blake.

"All these noise you guys are saying are just disturbing my ear drums", Diana said with a light frown, everybody went silent for just a few mins.

"Ethan you know tomorrow is the full moon right?", Diana and Bassam asked me at the same time.

"Yeah I know" , "why did you guys ask?", I asked.

"You look so relaxed as if tomorrow isn't the full moon", Diana said.

"I feel feel relaxed cause I have all of you by my side, knowing that I'm not alone in this relieves my anxiety" , "I already thought about the full moon a few times today", "I turned my head to Diana who who was a few was a meters behind me".

"Hey Ethan your buddy is here again today !!", Bassam shouted and my gaze quickly shifted from Diana with a light frown on my face as I had already know who Bassam was referring to as my buddy.

My gaze focused on the road ahead and I could see a figure running towards us in full speed and when the figure got close enough she came to a stop.

"That Ryan!!", "I don't know what to do with him" , I mumbled to myself.

"Flaming what are you doing outside I thought you were supposed to stay at home with Ryan", I asked out loud as I grabbed Flaming by the fur on her back and we began to walk forward.

"What Ryan is at home" ?, "I didn't know", Flaming said thoughtfully through our mental link.

I could feel my eyes practically twitching and I lifted Flaming to the front of my face then I asked suspiciously, "when did you leave the house".

Flaming stretched out her tongue and she licks my face, I don't know what the time says then but maybe it's probably before you guys went to school I'm not sure.

"Where are you always going to when I'm not at home?" , I stretched out my hand to pull Flaming's ear but at that moment Flaming began transforming into her battle form and the hand I was using to hold Flaming quickly went down as I couldn't use one hand to support Flaming's weight in her battle form.

"Flaming what has gotten into you" , "do you want somebody to see you like this", as soon as I completed my statement Flaming reverted to her normal form and she ran towards Diana who gently picked her up.

"Ethan flaming can handle herself so stop pestering her" , Diana said .

"You hear that right, I can handle myself", Flaming said through our mental link.

"Fine suit yourself but if you get Into trouble don't expect me to come running to save you", I replied to Flaming with a fake frown.

"I don't need your help, I can take care of myself", Flaming retort and I just shrugged in reply.

The rest of our journey back home was almost silent but not long after we were already close to the house.

"when we get inside you know what I'm going to ask Ryan?", Blake said as he walked in front of everyone.

"We know it's just you pestering him about Layla", "very shameless of you if I should say" , Diana said.

"That won't get me to reconsider", "meet me at the house", Blake said as he dashed towards the house just a few meters ahead.

"Is this boy sick in the head?", Bassam asked and I just shrugged.

Blake who was already at the front of the door quickly opened it and he walked inside leaving the door wide open.

I turned towards Bassam, "about your question earlier I think he is really sick in the brain".

We soon got to the front of the house and as we tried to enter we saw Blake standing a few meters away from the door and his eyes were just fixed on a certain point in the living room.

What's up buddy?, I asked as my gaze moved to where he was steering at I started to laugh seriously and Bassam who walked in after soon join in the laughter.

Ryan was seated on the couch and Layla was lying down on his laps and Ryan's hands were crossed around her neck.

our laughter woke Layla from her sleep and she sat up as soon as she sighted us and she gave Ryan a pinch on the lap which jolted awake.r

"Your friends are back", Layla whispered to Ryan as soon he woke up.

"Ah!! guys it's closing hour already", Ryan said and he muttered, "why is today so short".

"No school isn't over, we just decided to come home and see if you are doing fine and we can see you are really doing fine", Blake barked at Ryan.

"Layla what's up, it's been a while", I walked up to Layla and I stretched out my hand and she stretched out hers and we shook hand.

"Yeah it's really been a while", Layla replied.

Diana waved at Layla and she walked to her room with Flaming still in her arms.

"Ethan what's wrong with Blake?", Ryan asked me.

"I don't know you can ask him", I replied as I began walking up the stairs.

"Ethan wait up I want to talk to you about something", Ryan walked towards me.

"what is it?" I stopped moving and I looked at Ryan who was approaching.do

"Ethan what I want to tell you is crazy but I want you to help Layla", Ryan said hastily.

"Guy relax", "what's up with Layla", I asked.

Ryan exhaled and he looks at me with a smile, "Layla is a vampire".

"Wait", "wait what did you just say?", I asked Ryan with my eyes widened.

"Layla is a vampire, not just an ordinary one you remember the masked girl you fought with she's the one", Ryan explained.

"What the hell!!", I shouted out loud with my eyes almost popping out of their sockets, everyone in the living room gaze quickly moved to the stairs where Ryan and I were standing.
