Disciples in Action

With the Sect of Chaos officially established, it was time for the disciples to start proving themselves.

The system chimed:

"New Feature Unlocked: Sect Missions!"

"Disciples may now undertake missions to earn rewards, resources, and increase sect prestige."

Lin Feng smirked. "Finally, time to send these kids out into the real world."

Zhang Wei glanced at the mission board, which had magically appeared outside the Main Hall. "So, what kind of missions are available?"

Mei Ling read through them.

[Low-Rank Mission: Herb Gathering] – Collect 100 Spirit Grass from Misty Forest. (10 SP)

[Mid-Rank Mission: Escort Task] – Protect a merchant caravan from bandits. (50 SP)

[High-Rank Mission: Beast Subjugation] – Eliminate the Ironclaw Tiger causing havoc in a nearby village. (100 SP)

Lin Feng tapped his chin. "We'll start with something simple."

He looked at his disciples. "Alright, brats, your first mission is to collect Spirit Grass from the Misty Forest."

Han Xue and a few others immediately stepped forward.

Han Xue: "We won't fail, Sect Leader!"

Lin Feng grinned. "Good. But remember, if you run into trouble… run faster."

Zhang Wei sighed. "That's your advice?"

Mei Ling shook her head. "At least he's consistent."

Trouble in the Misty Forest

The disciples arrived at the Misty Forest, a dense and eerie woodland known for its thick fog and unpredictable dangers.

Han Xue led the group. "Stay together and keep your eyes open."

The runaway princess scoffed. "We're just picking herbs. What's the worst that could happen?"

As if answering her, a deep growl echoed through the forest.

A Shadowfang Wolf Pack emerged from the mist, their red eyes glowing with bloodlust.

One of the younger disciples panicked. "T-There's too many of them!"

Han Xue clenched his fists. "Stay calm! We have to fight!"

The wolves lunged—

But just as the disciples prepared to defend themselves, a massive burst of energy exploded from the treetops.

BOOOM!

The wolves were sent flying as a mysterious figure landed in front of the disciples.

A tall, masked man in black robes, his aura unstable and wild.

"You… are disciples of the Sect of Chaos?" His voice was deep and ominous.

Han Xue stepped forward cautiously. "Who's asking?"

The man removed his mask, revealing a scarred face and golden eyes.

"I am someone who was once abandoned by the world… but perhaps you can change my fate."

Back at the Sect

Lin Feng was casually eating roasted meat when the system chimed:

"Warning! A powerful individual has encountered your disciples!"

Lin Feng blinked. "Huh?"

Mei Ling raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

Lin Feng smirked. "Looks like things just got interesting."

He Stood up. "Time to meet this mysterious guest."
