Supreme Hunter of Beautiful Souls

Chapter 22: Elion, the Witch of Chaos

While Kael lived peacefully, refining his mana skills alongside a woman whose past and true identity were still a mystery to him, in a distant and secluded place from the mortal world, a rare and secret event was about to take place.

In an abandoned citadel, far from the eyes of any ordinary being, a meeting reserved for the most powerful and influential figures in the world was underway. These gatherings were rare, occurring only under circumstances of extreme gravity, when something serious required the collaboration of all. However, they also served as a stage for the exchange of confidential information, strategic alliances, or sometimes mere rumors circulating among those who held power.

In the main room, decorated with opulent details, ten carefully predestined seats awaited the guests. Each chair symbolized the presence of a singular entity, and the atmosphere exuded an aura of importance and mystery, making it clear that something monumental was about to be discussed.

In the tenth seat sat the Queen of the Fairies. Her firm and imposing posture resembled that of an experienced warrior. Her long red hair shone under the light, exuding an aura of royalty befitting her title. Her golden armor, richly adorned, gave her a noble and imposing appearance, making it clear that her presence was not just symbolic, but of great relevance.

In the ninth seat was the King of Werewolves. His figure was robust and intimidating, with sculpted muscles and a presence that dominated the room. His black hair and beard, as dark as the abyss, contrasted with his appearance, which, curiously, did not show any lupine features. To the unknowing, he might appear as an ordinary human, but his wild and beastly aura betrayed his true nature.

The eighth seat belonged to the King of Dwarves. Short in stature, he carried the essence of his race with pride. His red hair and beard were intricately braided, reflecting the tradition and care typical of dwarves. He wore a sturdy silver armor, which shone under the light like the enchanted steel of his forges.

In the seventh seat sat the Queen of Elves. Her ethereal beauty was almost supernatural, with snow-white hair and pale skin that, at first glance, could be mistaken for that of a vampire. She wore a sky-blue dress that seemed made from the very light of the sky, complemented by a delicately crafted silver crown that reinforced her position as the leader of her people.

In the sixth seat was the King of Giants, a figure cloaked in mystery. His dark skin contrasted with the deep green mantle that concealed almost his entire body, revealing only glimpses of his imposing presence. Beneath the heavy mantle rested a long black iron sword, whose mere existence emanated an overwhelming force, even without being unsheathed. His solemn posture, combined with a calm and impenetrable gaze, inspired absolute respect, as if his mere presence could silence any turmoil.

In the fifth seat sat the Human Emperor, a figure who, despite his ordinary appearance, exuded a sacred aura that seemed to illuminate the surroundings. He had golden hair, perfectly aligned, that shone like gold under the light. He wore a majestic suit, worthy of a king, decorated with golden and red details that highlighted his authority, complemented by a black cape that elegantly fell over his shoulders. At his waist rested a golden sword, a symbol of both his sovereignty and divine power.

In the fourth seat sat the Human Empress, a monarch from a distant empire, located in a region of the world divided by disputes and divisions. Her beauty was stunning, marked by Asian features that gave her a unique singularity. Her long black hair fell in shining waves, contrasting with her pale and perfectly balanced skin. She also emanated the so-called "Hero's Aura," but unlike the Emperor, her presence was much more stable, almost overwhelming in its calm strength. Her attire was refined, with ornaments that highlighted her position and power, reinforcing her image as a figure of absolute respect.

In the third seat sat the Queen of Witches, the foremost and greatest expert in the energy known as Mana. Her black cloak draped elegantly, complemented by a long pointed hat that symbolized her authority in the arcane world. Her blood-red hair flowed with an almost hypnotic glow, while her crimson eyes, resembling living runes, seemed to uncover the deepest secrets of any soul brave enough to meet their gaze. Her body, incredibly seductive, exuded an irresistible charm, capable of making even the strongest succumb to her overwhelming presence, as if she were the personification of desire and power.

In the first seat, completing the circle, sat the King of Vampires. His imposing and regal figure stood at two meters tall, dominating the room with his presence. He wore a black cloak with a red lining on the inside, moving gracefully with the slightest motion, as if it were part of his very essence. His posture was that of an absolute sovereign, and his eyes, deep and enigmatic, reflected the wisdom of countless ages.

There were a few more individuals accompanying their respective kings, typically their right hands who were always present as near-leaders in their own nations.

"Let's begin this meeting," came the deep, commanding voice from the first seat. The King of Vampires, with his sharp gaze and unshakable posture, took the floor. "I believe everyone here already knows the main topic and the reason why you were summoned."

He paused before continuing, as if allowing everyone to absorb his words. "The Academy project has been completed."

No surprised reactions arose from those present; after all, they had all been anticipating this moment. However, the curiosity about what would come next was palpable.

"Yes, we completed it this week," confirmed the King of Dwarves, with a satisfied smile. He gestured with his hand, and a magical hologram appeared over the table, displaying the grand structure recently finished. "It was a long project, but I can assure you that everything is in order. Now we just need to receive the students," he stated with a gleam of pride in his eyes.

Despite his rigid appearance, the King of Dwarves was known for his generosity and dedication to future generations. His ideals were genuine, always focused on a better future.

"When do you think we can open the Academy?" asked the King of Vampires, turning his attention to the King of Dwarves, who still seemed ecstatic over the completion of the project.

"We just need some school supplies and to furnish the classrooms," the Dwarf King replied thoughtfully. "But I believe all of this can be done in less than a year."

"Hmmm... And what about that, is it resolved?" inquired the King of Vampires.

"We still need wood and labor," the King of Dwarves admitted in a more serious tone.

"Anyone offering to help?" asked the King of Vampires, naturally assuming the role of leader of the council.

"We can assist," replied the King of Demi-Humans, his voice deep and reserved. "We are expanding our city and have plenty of wood left in the Jurja Forest."

"We can also offer manpower," said the King of Werewolves. Despite the historical rivalry between vampires and werewolves, he was a leader committed to the welfare of his people.

"Alright, next topic," announced the King of Vampires, casting a side glance at the Queen of Elves.

"As you all know, many of us have reached the age of starting the next generations," began the Queen of Elves, her voice soft but firm. "With the construction of the Azalith Academy, I thought of ways to encourage our children and their future responsibilities. After speaking with the King of Vampires, we came up with the idea that, in eight years, our children will enter the Academy."

She paused before continuing, now speaking more like a mother than a monarch. "I would like to know if it would be possible for you, as parents, to consider sending your children around that time."

"My daughter will go as soon as she turns thirteen," replied the Queen of Fairies with a gentle smile.

"Same here," confirmed the King of Dwarves with a nod.

"No problem. My little one will go at thirteen too," said the Empress with a resolute look.

"I agree," declared the King of Vampires, straightforwardly.

"Then I believe we are all in agreement," murmured the Queen of Elves, visibly satisfied. "In ten years, the world will begin a new era," she proclaimed with conviction.

In the midst of the conversation, an old, grumpy man unexpectedly appeared in the room and positioned himself in the center of the meeting table.

"Oh... hello, old man," greeted the Queen of Witches with a playful smile upon recognizing him.

"Oh, Director," the King of Dwarves gave a slight bow, showing respect.

"Sir, what brings you here?" asked the Queen of Elves, intrigued.

The old man cast a stern glance around the table, his expression hardened as he walked calmly to the center. Finally, he fixed his eyes on the Queen of Witches, his voice sharp and direct like a blade.

"Your spoiled daughter had a child," he announced, without ceremony, causing a heavy silence to fall over the room.

"What?!" The Queen of Witches reacted, her words filled with disbelief. "My Elion... is a mother?" She stammered, shock written on her face. "That wretch who hasn't spoken to me in six years... had a child?" Her voice rose, wavering between shock and indignation, as she tried to process the revelation.

"Son of a bitch..." murmured the Queen of Elves, clearly just as surprised as everyone else. "Elion... the damn Witch of Chaos... had a child?!" Her tone mixed astonishment and exasperation as her wide eyes searched for confirmation among those present.
