Erix learned all the skills and looked around on the vast battlefield.

In the distance, insectoid monsters emerged from the cosmic terrain, their grotesque forms illuminated by the neon hues of the battlefield. Erix's eyes narrowed as he spotted a group of them converging toward him.

'Come on,' Erix grinned and his Prime Ripple Dominator robot flew forward while he pointed his left-hand cannon gun at the converged group and released his control skill: Sticky Slime Blast.

The gun released a giant blob of orb, shooting straight towards the five Mantis-like giant insectoid monsters.

Four of them jumped away in time, but one was struck by the orb that exploded into a sticky splatter that spread all over the monster.

It couldn't properly move its limbs and fly with its wings afterward, giving Erix enough time to shoot normal cannon shots from his cannon gun to kill the monster.

But the other four monsters naturally wouldn't leave him alone.

Two of them waved their scyth-like arms and released sharp blade projectiles from his left and right while the other two dashed towards the Prime Ripple Dominator from behind.

Erix swiftly used his movement skill: Mirage Dash, as he appeared one kilometer behind, dodging the projectiles and also arriving right before the two incoming Mantis insectoids.

His right-hand gauntlet shone and surged with energy as Erix used the robot's attack skill: Ripple Smash!

Throwing the fist, it crashed into space as if some invisible wall appeared instead of the insectoids that were just ten meters away from him. But that punch that seemingly struck the invisible space wall created mysterious web-like cracks that released destructive ripples in front of Erix in a wide area of 100 meters!

The two Mantis Insectoids were shredded into pieces when those ripples hit them.

'Each skill has a ten-second cooldown, so I have to be careful,' Erix narrowed his eyes and dashed behind again, before dodging a projectile and shooting cannon shots, killing the 3rd Mantis Insectoid.

He then killed the last one as well and finished his first battle.

But he soon felt a powerful aura approaching him and turned his head in that direction to see a fiery red robot holding a long sword and a shield dashing toward him.

Erix cracked a grin. He could see 4 above the robot, which meant that the player in that robot had killed four player robots already!

"Let's dance!" the Blazinger Flame Warrior shouted, the player's voice slightly hoarse, but young.

Erix flew forward as well, all of his skills were ready.

The first attack was released by Blazinger Flame Warrior robot, swinging his sword and releasing a projectile of a fiery phoenix that shot towards Erix.

Erix could feel an intent lock onto him as he realized that this attack tracked its target.

Without hesitation, he used his movement skill: Mirage Dash, and closed the distance between him and the Blazinger Flame Warrior.

The enemy was surprised, but he swung his sword first. Erix grinned, 'good job.'

The Phoenix was coming at him from behind, which was obviously the enemy's attack skill.

Erix could also defend, but he didn't and instead used his movement skill to close in the distance and arrive before the enemy.

The enemy initiated the first attack out of panic or hurry upon seeing Erix closing in and this was what Erix wanted!

Erix used his defense skill: Burst Spewer Shield behind him against the Phoenix while executing his right punch to use his attack skill: Ripple Smash!

His defense skill was not pure defense, but off-defense. Upon getting struck by an, it would explode and release a powerful shockwave in a ten-meter area in front of the shield after two seconds.

The range was small and he had to be in the enemy's range if he wanted to utilize his defense skill's potential to max.

That's why he closed in the distance.

Erix saw the incoming normal sword slash of the incoming, executed his defense at his back, and released his attack skill at the front.

Obviously, his attack skill was more powerful than the enemy's normal flame sword attack!

*Boom!*

The Ripple Smash reduced the robot's HP by 30% and Erix also directed his shield towards the enemy after it defended against the phoenix.

However, Blazinger Flame Warrior didn't make a mistake again. His reaction was fast and he immediately used his left-hand shield against the shockwave.

But Erix was a martial artist, and he also used it via his robot! Executing a roundhouse kick, he smashed the Blazinger Flame Warrior's shield aside while aiming his cannon gun at him at just a few meters of distance.

"Fuck," the Blazinger Flame Warrior robot's player cursed and a burst of flame released from behind it as he used his movement skill and smashed into Erix.

He had no other choice but to intercept Erix's cannon shot and also damage him.

However, Erix used his utility skill immediately: Nebula Ripple Field.

A dark blue and black barrier-like field appeared around both robots and released mysterious ripples from all directions.

This skill affected both the user and the enemy. It randomly disabled one limb of the robot, so if a skill required that particular limb, it was also disabled!

Erix's right hand deactivated, rending his Attack skill: Ripple Smash, unusable.

On the other hand, the enemy's left hand deactivated, which rendered his defensive shield and the skill attached to it unusable!

Erix was more acrobatic and punched the Blazinger Flame Warrior before gunning it with his gun it suffered more damage, while the Blazinger swung his sword as it shone, intending to use his Phoenix attack skill again as ten seconds passed.

'I was waiting for it,' Erix grinned and readied his gun quickly before shooting his control skill Sticky Slime Blast.

Right as the Blazing Flame Warrior's phoenix manifested and released, the Sticky Slime Blast skill's orb struck it and exploded.

This clash caused the Phoenix to explode right there and then, creating a thick cloud of smoke that impaired both robots' visions.

Erix had a long-range attack so he instantly released his cannon shots.

The already injured and almost broken Blazinger Flame Warrior saw his HP reaching 0 as he released a shout but vanished in the next second.

[You have acquired 1 Arcade Point and 10 Robot Treasure points.]

[As you have killed a player, you have reached level 2.]

[You have gained a new attack skill: Vortex Ripple Blast.]

'Sounds cool,' Erix switched his Attack skill from Ripple Smash to Vortex Ripple and flew toward a group of Insectoids that was coming at him from a few kilometers away.

Meanwhile, Rin, Isabella, and Aria also defeat their first monsters and robot player challenges.

They were at different parts of the battlefield in space and continued fighting their way.

The damage done to their robot was also healed gradually and it would heal faster if they killed monsters, indicating that these were the unwritten rules and features.

Moreover, the obstacles in space like asteroids, planets, nebula smoke zones, and such could be used strategically to win, making this Robot Wars an exceedingly fun and thrilling game as Erix, Aria, Isabella, and Rin were having blood-pumping pleasure in this game fighting with others!
