Chapter 393: Chapter 394: The Rainbow Bridge Interfered by the Portal

"My speed is already so much faster than Barry Allen's, but why haven't I caught up to the Ki blast?" On the other side, as Pietro could no longer see Barry Allen's figure behind him, he felt a surge of excitement. However, looking at the elusive Ki blast ahead, Pietro felt a bit helpless. More frustratingly, he could already see Robert and the others in the distance.

Yes, the finish line was in sight, but neither Pietro nor Barry Allen had caught up to the Ki blast.

However, compared to Barry Allen, Pietro had already reached the finish line, his speed significantly faster. When Pietro returned, he didn't see Barry Allen anywhere.

"So, Robert won?" Seeing the Ki blast return first, Peter Parker deliberately looked at Pietro and asked teasingly.

"How could Robert win? Wasn't this a race between me and Barry Allen?" Pietro was stunned for a moment. He hadn't heard the conversation between Robert and Peter Parker, so he was momentarily confused.

"Hehe, you guys ran a whole lap and didn't catch up to the Ki blast. Can you still say you won? You can only say you beat Barry Allen. The ultimate winner is definitely Robert!" Peter Parker shrugged, smiling as he explained.

"Uh... that seems to be true." Hearing Peter Parker's explanation, Pietro scratched his head, realizing Peter made a valid point. However, he quickly recovered and laughed, "But it doesn't matter. It's normal not to beat Robert. I'm already satisfied with beating Barry Allen!"

"Where's Barry Allen? Is there that much difference in your speeds?" Peter Parker was surprised at Pietro's statement, looking hesitantly in the direction Pietro came from, murmuring to himself.

Not only Peter Parker, but the others also shared similar thoughts. Previously, Pietro's speed was definitely not on par with Barry Allen's. However, after gaining a special ability and evolving, Pietro had surpassed Barry Allen by an unexpected margin.

"Hehe, I might have cheated. Didn't you see? I can run in mid-air now." Pietro smiled proudly, feeling great after confirming his ability. From this moment, Pietro was no longer the weakest member of the Z Warriors!

"Barry Allen must be feeling quite pressured now..." Seeing Pietro's demeanor, Peter Parker couldn't help but mutter. Peter understood Barry Allen's pressure. Before gaining the power of Mjolnir, Peter had similar feelings. Without Mjolnir's help, Peter would still be at the bottom of the Z Warriors.

"But now I have my own pressure..." A thought quickly crossed Peter Parker's mind. He looked at Thor's two battling souls and then at Mjolnir. Previously, when Thor was absent, Peter knew Mjolnir didn't belong to him. However, being able to use Mjolnir's power without much urgency felt less pressing.

But when Mjolnir began to show signs of rejection, Peter realized he needed to rely on his own strength to grow stronger. This realization became more evident when Thor encountered Mjolnir.

Peter Parker recalled the plan he had discussed with Robert, to convert his Ki into thunder power and absorb Mjolnir's power to enhance himself.

Peter had already accomplished the first step, but he hadn't made much progress on the second. Now, it seemed crucial to advance quickly. Otherwise, it might become impossible to draw power from Mjolnir in the future.

"Buzz!" With this in mind, Peter Parker wasted no time. He reached out, and Mjolnir flew into his hand. Despite the lingering separation caused by the influence of Odin's power, Peter could once again use Mjolnir's strength.

"What? Do you want to race with me too?" Seeing Peter Parker suddenly pick up Mjolnir, Pietro's eyes lit up, eagerly challenging Peter.

Pietro naturally didn't care about Peter's speed alone, but with Mjolnir, Peter's speed could rival, or even surpass, Barry Allen's. Such speed would undoubtedly be faster than Pietro's previous best, and Pietro wanted to prove himself against Peter.

"No, I need to re-examine the power within Mjolnir..." To Pietro's disappointment, Peter had no intention of competing. For Peter, every second was precious. Any delay could mean losing the ability to use Mjolnir's power.

"It's fine; it seems something interesting is happening anyway..." Seeing Peter's reaction, Robert understood Peter's intentions. Smiling, he looked at Peter before turning his gaze to the battling Thor souls.

"Huh?" Peter Parker was puzzled by Robert's words but quickly focused, immersing his mind in Mjolnir to absorb its power. Of course, "absorbing Mjolnir's power" was a euphemism; Peter was essentially stealing Mjolnir's power to strengthen himself.

Meanwhile, in Asgard, King Odin watched with a stern expression. It wasn't because Peter was stealing Mjolnir's power—Odin didn't consider Peter a significant threat. Odin believed Peter couldn't steal enough power from Mjolnir to make a difference.

The real issue was Thor's current abnormal situation, which Odin, like Robert, had noticed.

The latest brainwashing by Hydra was shockingly effective. After adopting McCarthy's proposal to brainwash Thor into believing he was Thor, the real Thor had become the first test subject. Even Hydra's brainwashers hadn't anticipated that their target would actually be the real Thor.

This created a significant problem: both Thor's souls were almost identical, truly alike, not two different extremes.

This allowed Hydra Thor to gradually awaken the godly powers belonging to Asgard's Thor because, in his perception, he was Thor!

Initially, Odin didn't take this situation seriously. He thought erasing the soul of Hydra Thor would be easy and had even set corresponding powers on Mjolnir...

But Odin hadn't expected Robert to disrupt his plans. A warrior using a magician's ability had extracted both Thor souls, causing them to battle each other.

Even though Asgard's Thor's soul was inherently stronger, and despite facing Hydra Thor's sneak attacks without being entirely overpowered, Hydra Thor was no weakling. Hydra Thor's previous displays had shown he had begun mastering Thor's power.

Thus, defeating Hydra Thor wouldn't be easy. The current battle confirmed Robert and Odin's suspicions: the two Thor souls showed no signs of a decisive victory. Instead, their mutual attacks and devouring affected each other's consciousness and strength.

This meant that whichever Thor soul emerged victorious would no longer be the original Thor or Hydra Thor but a completely new Thor!

This outcome was unacceptable to Odin but desirable to Robert. Robert didn't know the exact differences in behavior between the two Thors but could guess Odin's concerns.

Odin faced a dilemma: if he didn't intervene, the merging of Thor's souls would be irreversible, and restoring the original Thor would be impossible.

However, if Odin forcefully intervened on Earth, it would prompt immediate resistance from Clark and Robert, and even the Ancient One would join the fray.

Asgard's commitment not to protect Earth also meant they couldn't meddle in Earth's affairs. Thor's current situation was Asgard's doing, and Robert hadn't shown any intent to harm Thor. Otherwise, he would've killed Thor long ago.

Therefore, for Odin, even with Thor facing such a crisis, any intervention would appear unjustified, exacerbating tensions.

Realizing this, the god-king's expression turned despondent, even more so than when he considered conceding to Robert and Clark. Despite his still robust form, Odin's spirit felt aged...

"Enough. Why persist? Come back already!" Odin sighed, making a swift decision. He wouldn't solve Thor's problem on Earth; instead, he would bring Thor back, as previously agreed, using the Rainbow Bridge.

"Buzz!" With this thought, Odin's Eternal Spear began emitting a colorful glow, and soon, a Rainbow Bridge extended from Asgard towards Earth.

Despite the unfinished reconstruction of Asgard's physical Rainbow Bridge, the god-king's weapon could still open it. Odin had previously used this method to leave Clark and return to Asgard.

"Hmm?" Meanwhile, on Earth, Robert raised an eyebrow, spotting the multicolored light in the sky. He smiled and loudly commanded, "Guardian! Activate the portal and disrupt the space around me!"

"Buzz!" The Guardian, startled by Robert's command, instinctively obeyed. Though unsure of the situation, he manipulated the portal to disrupt the space around Robert.

The Guardian's action immediately caused him to break into a sweat, feeling an unprecedented strain, greater than any previous portal activation, even when confronting the Space Stone's power...

Yet, this time, the portal didn't fail. The Guardian continuously opened and closed the portal around Robert, creating spatial chaos. The Rainbow Bridge's light dispersed, redirected to unknown locations.

Of course, the Guardian's power was limited, redirecting the Rainbow Bridge within Earth rather than to the cosmos.

Nonetheless, Odin's plan to retrieve Thor via the Rainbow Bridge was completely foiled.

"Robert! What's the meaning of this?!" Odin's furious voice echoed, "Are you declaring war on Asgard? Do you think I won't destroy Earth?!"

"Sorry, I recall Asgard promised not to set foot on Earth again. Am I mistaken?" Robert raised an eyebrow, unfazed by Odin's threat, and responded with a shrug and a smile.

"Asgard indeed won't step on Earth, but retrieving Thor is our agreement, right?" Odin paused before replying solemnly.

"That's true, but wasn't that after Thor completed his training? He can't even lift Mjolnir now. How is that considered complete?" Robert innocently pointed at Mjolnir and Thor, smiling as he asked.

"Without completing the training, bringing Asgard's Rainbow Bridge to Earth counts as your

 violation, doesn't it?"

"Completing the training and lifting Mjolnir means Thor can return?" Odin's voice was icy as he looked at Robert on Earth and asked.
