Chapter 109: The Savage Island and Dinosaurs
"Don't rush, let me investigate this person first!" However, just as Colonel Rhodes was about to contact his superiors, Tony Stark held his hand and shook his head seriously, "After all, my information system is much more effective than the military's..."
"Nonsense, you've hacked into the military system countless times. If it weren't for your special status, you would have been court-martialed by now!" Colonel Rhodes sighed helplessly, turned off the communication device, and gave Tony Stark a look, "Also, the higher-ups have warned you, stop implanting backdoors in the systems you sell to them..."
"I can hack in without backdoors!" Tony Stark said somewhat proudly.
Colonel Rhodes's mouth twitched slightly, but he felt somewhat relieved; the familiar Tony Stark was back, so he didn't have to worry about the pressure anymore.
As for the monster Tony Stark mentioned, let Tony do his research. It might divert his attention from dwelling on this kidnapping incident.
And about monsters, it's not like there haven't been monster sightings before, like the one in New York was much more powerful than this one...
However, what Colonel Rhodes didn't know was that Robert was involved in both monster incidents he had in mind.
"I'll find out who you are!" Tony Stark resolved on the plane. He believed he remembered Robert's appearance and could search for Robert's identity once back, or at least find some clues. What he didn't know was that Robert had always been operating under the alias of Kakarot...
Meanwhile, Robert clapped his hands, not because the helicopter arrived but because he sensed several groups of people returning to the base, so he went to check.
Upon seeing their identical equipment and attire, Robert decisively continued to eliminate them, preventing them from discovering their home destroyed and causing further chaos...
As for Tony Stark, Yinsen, and the helicopter matter, Robert wasn't very interested. After dealing with these issues, Robert continued to traverse the desert, waiting for the sandstorm to arrive.
Perhaps it was good luck or bad, but the next day a fierce wind rose in the desert, followed by flying sand and stones. Robert experienced the marvels of nature while attempting to mimic this state with his energy, flying and spinning in the sky without using Flight Technique...
Days later, after exploring the desert, Robert left and headed south into the Indian Ocean.
"Finally heading back..." Clark sighed with relief, relaxing a bit.
But as soon as Clark relaxed and tried to locate Robert again, he lost track of him! "Robert?!" Clark's expression tensed, scanning the entire Indian Ocean and then other seas, still unable to find Robert.
"What happened?" Seeing Clark's tense expression and hearing him call out for Robert, Martha and Jonathan Kent looked worriedly at Clark.
"It's nothing, just suddenly can't find where that guy went. Maybe he went deep-sea whale chasing. Don't worry, I'll go have a look..." Clark took a deep breath, quickly calming down, reassuring the Kents.
"Kara, keep an eye on things here, I'm going out!" Clark then mentally contacted Kara, gave her instructions, nodded to the Kents, and shot up into the sky, disappearing.
After nearly half a year, Kara's visual and auditory range had expanded, covering from Metropolis High School to their home.
However, Kara was visibly anxious, catching the Kents' conversation, her eyes filled with worry, her fists clenched tightly.
On the other side, shortly after entering the Indian Ocean, Robert felt hungry since the desert lacked not only supplies but also animal resources, going days without a full meal.
Indeed, as Clark said, Robert chased whales in the sea, but soon frowned as the whale he sensed suddenly vanished.
"What's going on?" A thought flashed through Robert's mind, and he headed towards where the whale disappeared.
Before long, Robert encountered a fog, limiting his senses, vision, and hearing, but driven by curiosity, he plunged into the mist.
"Whoosh!" Quickly breaking through the fog, Robert saw an island. The whale he was tracking was there, but Robert didn't spare it a glance, sensing a familiar presence.
Dinosaurs! The creatures Robert had always longed for!
Robert's eyes sparkled, and he vanished, charging at a Thunder Lizard.
Robert: What's a whale? Not familiar! Had it not been for the whale accidentally entering this area, Robert might not have discovered this paradise, filled with the wild air of prehistoric Earth, even the oxygen content seemed higher.
But Robert's focus wasn't on the environment; he was curious if the dinosaurs here tasted as good as those in the Dragon Ball world...
"Thump! Thump! Thump!"
As Robert charged at the Thunder Lizard, it quickly reacted. Creatures grown in such a wild environment have a strong sense of danger, so the Thunder Lizard fled.
Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough, especially not compared to Robert, whose eyes shone with hunger and desire.
The next moment, Robert appeared in the Thunder Lizard's path, blocking it. The lizard stopped, warily eyeing Robert, not understanding why such a small creature could make it feel threatened. Still, instinct made it retreat, its tail thumping the ground to intimidate Robert.
"Thump! Thump! Thump!"
"Such a nimble tail!" Robert admired the Thunder Lizard's tail, swallowing involuntarily.
