Superman Who Broke into the Marvel Multiverse

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Kay: Let Go of Lin Feng! Let Me Have Him

"HAPPY?" Susan exclaimed in surprise as she saw the driver when she got into the car.

"Hi, Miss Susan, good to see you!" Happy politely greeted her, then turned to Lin Feng. "Mr. Lin!"

Happy gave a slight nod of excitement to Lin Feng. Embarrassingly, he was also a member of the "Superman Forum." He had long admired Superman's strength and often fantasized about having Superman's abilities. In those daydreams, he would have made sure that Tony Stark would never be in harm's way—oh, to be Tony Stark's loyal driver and bodyguard.

"Wait… how is he here?" Susan turned to Lin Feng, puzzled.

"Isn't Happy Tony Stark's driver?" As a journalist, Susan knew a thing or two about celebrity networks.

"Didn't I tell you? Tony Stark is my friend," Lin Feng replied with a smile.

"Wow, you two are that close? I thought you were just casual friends…" Susan said in surprise.

She had assumed they were only acquaintances, but Tony had even lent his personal driver to Lin Feng.

"Does it really matter?" Lin Feng shook his head with a smile, then turned to Happy. "Let's go, Happy!"

"I know you've had a long day, so how about we grab dinner and then go shopping?" Lin Feng grinned, giving Susan a wink. "Guess what we're having tonight!"

"Could it be that new steakhouse?" Susan thought of the annoying John who had mentioned that steakhouse. It was a trendy spot where the owner's impressive salt-sprinkling skills had gained a huge following. She'd even gotten a flyer and seen videos online. Honestly, though, Susan wasn't a fan of steak. But if Lin Feng was inviting her, she was willing to give it a try.

"Nope, I know you don't like steak, Susan!" Lin Feng said confidently.

It was embarrassing to admit, but Lin Feng had actually bought "The Susan Preference Manual" through the system, spending a whole 300 reputation points—damn system, always looking for ways to make money.

"How did you know I don't like steak?" Susan asked, puzzled, then suddenly remembered his dark hair and cautiously asked, "Let me guess... is it Asian food?"

"Well..." Lin Feng hesitated slightly, "Not entirely accurate."

"Is it seafood?"

"Not quite!"

"Lin! Tell me!"

Susan's voice had an unmistakable hint of playfulness, which made Lin Feng's heart race. He couldn't resist her charm!

"Alright, alright! It's seafood, and it's also Asian cuisine!" Lin Feng finally revealed the surprise. "Tonight, we're having seafood prepared in the Eastern culinary style!"

Susan's eyes lit up, and she immediately thought of a famous, incredibly expensive seafood restaurant.

"Could it be that super famous 'Penglai Yun' from the East?!"

At the look of pure excitement in Susan's eyes, Lin Feng nodded.

"Oh my God!" Susan exclaimed, "I know that place, it's ridiculously expensive!"

"In the 'Most Desired Restaurants' list for office workers, Penglai Yun is number one!" Susan's eyes were filled with anticipation and curiosity. She had always dreamed of trying their seafood dishes, but because the prices were astronomical and they rarely accepted reservations from ordinary people, only nobles, government officials, and the top bosses of major corporations had the chance to book a table.

"Did you really book Penglai Yun, Lin? I heard they don't take regular people's reservations!" Susan asked in disbelief, then glanced at Lin Feng. "Oh my god, did you use your Superman..."

Susan immediately covered her mouth, realizing the driver was still in the car. She almost let it slip, quickly making a motion in the air resembling the Superman symbol.

Lin Feng sighed in exasperation. "What are you thinking?! There's no way I used that identity to make a reservation!"

At that moment, the car stopped at a red light.

Happy couldn't help but turn slightly and explain, "Miss Susan, Mr. Lin is a shareholder in Stark Industries!"

"And, Mr. Lin and Mr. Tony Stark are very close friends!"

"I don't think any restaurant in Twisted Waist would be foolish enough to turn Mr. Lin away."

"What?!" Susan stared at Lin Feng in shock, her eyes wide with surprise. "You're a shareholder in Stark Industries?!"

She knew Lin Feng was rich—after all, he lived in a 600-square-meter villa, so the sight of a Rolls-Royce picking him up didn't surprise her. But she hadn't realized just how wealthy he was. Stark Industries—just the name was synonymous with wealth.

She hadn't expected this kind-hearted, helpful guy to have such an influential status.

Now, Susan couldn't wait for the night's dining experience.

At the restaurant, with a warm welcome, Susan tasted seafood dishes from the East for the first time.

After a fulfilling meal, the night set in as the two of them drove back.

Their total spending had already reached close to six figures in USD.

Susan gave the dining experience a 9 out of 10—she couldn't give it a perfect score. She didn't want Lin Feng to get too proud.

As they sat in the car on the way back, Susan selected a few of the well-shot food photos and posted them on her social media. Only close friends and family followed her page, and she wanted to share this unforgettable experience.

Less than two minutes after posting, her phone began ringing non-stop.

It was from her best friend, Kay.

Kay's messages bombarded her like missiles:

"Susan! Did you go to that restaurant?"

"Oh my God! I heard a luxury car picked you up from work yesterday!"

"You didn't catch the eye of some mysterious rich boss, did you?"

"Also! Why wasn't I invited to such an amazing event?!"

Kay's questions were more and more explosive! Susan couldn't help but roll her eyes at the absurdity of it all.

"What are you talking about, Kay?" Susan quickly typed out a reply with her slender fingers.

"It was a friend who took me to dinner! Next time, I'll take you with me!"

"Was it the big boss who picked you up in a Rolls-Royce?"

"If you keep talking like this, I won't reply to you anymore!" Susan's face turned a little red as she scolded her chatty friend.

"It was really a friend who took me, stop making guesses."

Susan sent a photo of Lin Feng cracking open crab legs for her at the table. In the picture, Lin Feng wore a pair of fine-framed glasses, paired with his chiseled features, looking like a young CEO from a novel.

On the other end, Kay fell silent instantly.

After a while, a message came through: "Oh my God, where did you find this sunshine boy friend, Susan?!"

Reading the message, Susan blushed a little and sneaked a glance at Lin Feng. He hadn't confessed his feelings yet, so he probably wasn't her boyfriend yet.

"Not quite yet…" Susan replied.

"Then move aside, let me have him!"

"???" Susan sent a string of question marks.

"I've been single for over twenty years, and I think this boy is exactly my type!" Kay replied boldly.

"If you don't want him, can you give him to me?!"

"Go away!" Susan quickly shut down her phone, rolling her eyes and ignoring her wild friend.
