Super Gene Ⅱ: Evolution

Chapter 725: Asura Transformation

"Di Esi... still Di Esi... this works too..."

"It's practically cheating, who plays like this?"

"Infinite accumulation of strength, is that really fair?"

"How else do you explain it, in the cosmos there is only one Di Esi, everything about him is reasonable."

"With such stacking, not even the Immortal Level can withstand his massive blade."

Feng Feitian and Huang Feiwu, watching the dozens of meters long greatsword in Di Esi's hands, also had their expressions grow darker.

Although the Phoenix Clan had achieved the first rank in the cosmos this time, the Supreme Clan remained the Phoenix Clan's biggest competitor.

With a powerful being like Di Esi in the Supreme Clan, the Phoenix Clan's position at the top was always shaky.

Of course, even without Di Esi, the status of the Phoenix Clan wasn't very stable because the participants from the Supreme Clan in the race rankings weren't the strongest among them.

If the strongest member of the Supreme Clan had participated in the war, even Feng 6 would not be assured of victory.

The starlight blade in Di Esi's hand was now over a hundred meters, and the power condensed on it had reached a terrifying level beyond imagination.

Just the fluctuations of strength on the starlight blade were enough to make distant Nirvana Beings feel their hearts tremble in fear.

Di Esi didn't continue to condense further. Such power had already far exceeded what he could control, and if he continued stacking the starlight dust, he feared he might not be able to swing it.

Holding the hundred-meter greatsword with both hands, Di Esi charged at high speed towards Asura Ghost while loudly shouting, "Move aside."

Bing Leiya, who had been desperately attacking Asura Ghost, retreated like a flash of lightning upon hearing this.

The dazzling starlight greatsword, like a blade of heavenly punishment, chopped down directly towards the top of Asura Ghost's head.

For the first time, Asura Ghost abandoned his attack on Lin Shen, his half-white, half-black face looking up at the starlight greatsword slashing down from above.

His hands crossed blades, fiercely emitting a half-black half-transparent blade Qi, which met the starlight greatsword.

The blade Qi forcibly opened a gash on the starlight greatsword, but it itself was rapidly depleting. Barely cutting in more than a meter deep, the blade Qi was completely worn away.

The notch on the starlight greatsword was instantly filled by the surrounding starlight dust, and it harshly chopped down.

Boom!

The terrifying force of the impact produced an explosion that directly blasted all nearby people away.

A huge round of light explosion instantly expanded, resembling a cosmic big bang, the light swallowing everything within several hundred meters in an instant.

The shockwave even caused distant Nirvana Beings, several hundred miles away, to keep rolling uncontrollably, collapsing nearby mountains.

It seemed as if a tremendously large sun had risen over the dark Ghost Gate Star, brightly illuminating thousands of miles in the area.

The might of this strike seemed to rival the power of an Immortal.

Feng Feitian and Huang Feiwu could only continuously retreat to avoid being affected by that terrifying force.

"Di Esi... is too strong..." Watching the giant light explosion in the sky which lingered for a long time, Feng Feitian couldn't help but reveal a bitter smile.

Such an attack, he and Huang Feiwu combined couldn't withstand it.

"Di Esi remains an invincible presence in his level." Huang Feiwu had to admit, within their level, there was no second person who could unleash such terrifying power.

The Light Explosion lasted for a long time before it gradually dimmed, and Lin Shen, Di Esi, and Bing Leiya watched from afar the center of the Light Explosion; they themselves were pushed out several hundred miles before they could stabilize their forms.

But when the light dissipated, everyone's pupils shrank, and their faces revealed a look of terror.

No one believed that the Asura Ghost, who had endured such a horrific strike, could still be alive, but at the center of the Light Explosion, a robust figure still stood erect in the void.

However, this figure was somewhat different from the Asura Ghost just now, to the extent that it was hard for a while to determine whether it was really the Asura Ghost.

The Asura Ghost, originally a jade-stone being, had somehow transformed into a flesh and blood creature.

The Asura Ghost floated naked in the air, his whole skin bright white like snow, his long hair flowing, and a pair of black horns growing on his head.

Although he lacked the half-black, half-white color, that face still maintained half the delicateness of a woman and half the robustness of a man, seeming out of place yet strangely harmonious.

The original four arms had reduced to the normal two, making him look indistinguishable from many of the Human Race in the cosmos.

As everyone watched him with suspicion and uncertainty, the Asura Ghost opened his eyes, and a pair of crimson pupils flashed, as if harboring a Sea of Blood.

As his eyes opened, black particles spilled from his body, turning into the Black Jade Carapace that wrapped around his form.

A being nearly three metres tall, yet with a narrow waist and long legs, and a broad chest like an inverted triangle, hovered upside down in the air, his gaze coldly fixing on what lay before him.

The pitch-black carapace completely enveloped the Asura Ghost's body; on his chest and back, blood-red Evil Ghost face patterns emerged.

The Asura Ghost's hands opened, and white particles gathered in his hands, quickly forming two white weapons—a narrow, slightly curved White Jade Blade, and a bizarre White Jade Fork.

The blade was narrow and slightly curved, four feet long, resembling a shallow crescent moon with what seemed like the swirling smoke of aggrieved souls upon it.

The fork was three feet long, split into two prongs, somewhat resembling the front fork of a bicycle, with twin blades only as wide as a thumb, forming a triangular shape.

Everyone watched, dumbfounded, as the Asura Ghost underwent such transformations, truly beyond imagination.

A Base Mutation Creature had acquired a flesh and blood body, something unthinkable.

The gaze of the Asura Ghost fell on Di Esi; the blade in his hands slowly rose above his head, then he abruptly swung it toward Di Esi.

A crescent-like Blade Qi tore through the space towards Di Esi.

Di Esi's gaze sharpened, and countless cosmic stardust in the sky, like a pouring Star River, met the white crescent Blade Qi, instantly submerging it.

Under the relentless assault of the cosmic stardust, the crescent Blade Qi instantly sliced through it, like a Moon Blade cutting through water, and in an instant, it was before Di Esi.

Di Esi's gaze sharpened, his figure dispersing into stardust, but the crescent Blade Qi suddenly seemed to activate an acceleration mode, sharply speeding up, then disappeared.

Before anyone could comprehend what had happened, they saw a crack appearing in the sky; it was a breach blasted through the atmosphere.

Boom!

A mountain peak suddenly split as if struck by a heavy blow; people stared in shock only to see Di Esi's body crashing through the split mountain and hitting the ground, creating a huge crater in the rocky earth.

Di Esi knelt on one knee, one hand pressing against the ground as he forcibly stood up.

But on his chest, there was a wound that almost diagonally crossed his entire torso, from which blood was gushing.

Everyone was horrified beyond words; Di Esi had been wounded to such an extent, a sight they had never seen before.

Already, the quicker-reacting Nirvana Beings, disregarding everything, turned and fled.

The Asura Ghost, able to survive such a strike and with a casual slash wound Di Esi in this way, was no longer an existence that the Nirvana Beings could contend with; not fleeing now and waiting for the Asura Ghost to start a massacre, likely no one would survive.
