Summoner of the Fairy Tail

Chapter 27: The Summoner

Lyon, who was fighting with Gray, suddenly felt that Deliora's magic dissipated in an unusual way. He no longer cared about Gray and angrily rushed to the bottom of the ruins. Similarly, Gray was also shocked. The speed of rushing to the bottom of the ruins was no slower than Lyon.

"No! This is the only way to prove that I can surpass Ur!" Lyon, who was running, had a ferocious expression on his face. For his life, surpassing Ur had become the only meaning.

"Absolute Ice Knot is formed by the will of the caster. No matter what kind of magic you use, it can't be removed..." Gray suddenly thought of what Makarov had told him in the past. A guess appeared in her mind. At the same time, her face was filled with excitement and relaxation. All sorts of emotions were mixed together.

Lucy was at a loss. After some consideration, she decided to go outside to find Natsu. After all, she could not interfere in the feud between Gray and Lyon. It was useless for her to follow him. More importantly, she believed that Gray would not be defeated again.

Both of them were injured. Lyon was relatively light, but Gray was much heavier. However, Gray's body was quite strong in the years of fighting with Natsu. Their speed was almost the same.

When they reached the bottom of the ruins, what come before their eyes were the gradually shattering Deliora. His previous vicious reputation was meaningless with his shattering.

"Ur... thank you. The haze in my heart has indeed been dispelled by you!" Gray's face was filled with tears as he thought with gratitude. The moment he saw Deliora die, the deaths of his parents, the hatred and fear towards Deliora, and the guilt towards Ur's death all dissipated. The only thing left was endless gratitude towards Ur.

"Heavens... Deliora... Could it be that I will never be able to surpass Ur in my entire life?" Lyon was filled with disbelief and despair.

"Lyon, have you not woken up yet?" Gray walked to Lyon's side and gently patted him on the shoulder.

"So annoying! You murderer!" However, Lyon did not seem to appreciate it. He pushed Gray aside with one hand, and at the same time, he instantly cast Ice Magic. A giant tiger made of ice appeared out of thin air.

"Ice Prison." However, Gray was already prepared. He leaped up and avoided the attack while trapping the Ice Tiger in his magic.

"Lyon, I will replace Ur to wake you up. Also, I must make you remember that the one-handed shape magic is not stable!"

Just as Calvin explained the true power of the Absolute Ice Knot to Ultear, Natsu finally rushed over. He looked at the Thousand Dragon blankly with a disappointed expression on his face.

Even though he clearly understood that the aura he felt was not the same as his father's, and the difference in magic power was as vast as the sea, he still could not help but be filled with anticipation.

"Calvin, this is... Where did this dragon come from?" Nazi asked Calvin with the last bit of hope. He was so eager for Calvin to answer that he did not know and suddenly flew over. In this way, he could ask him about the news about Isilu.

"This is my Summoned Beast." However, Calvin's cold voice broke the last bit of his fantasy.

"As for why it made you misunderstand that it is a real dragon, this is because of you. The aura it carries is something I made when you used the dragon-destroying magic."

Hearing Calvin's explanation, even though he was mentally prepared, Natsu was still unable to suppress the depression in his heart. He, who was not good at hiding his emotions, immediately put on an unhappy expression and walked back gloomily, completely ignoring Ultear who was captured.

"How are you going to deal with me?" After Natsu left like the wind, Ultear asked Calvin. Although she had no power to resist at the moment, she regained her calm and did not panic at all.

"You are testing me. Although you tried to undo the seal on Deliora, it is already dead. It is useless to undo something. There is no way to convict you. Moreover, you are also a member of the council..." Calvin said to himself. After thinking for a while, he undid the magic that had imprisoned her.

"It's better to let you go."

Ultear, who had regained her freedom, looked a little surprised. Although she did have a way to escape, she did not expect that Calvin would let her go so easily.

"Hehe, since you let me go, I will help you say a few words next time Fairy Tail gets into trouble." Ultear smiled brightly like a flower, without any anger towards Calvin just now.

"Ah, then I'll thank you first. I think it won't be long before the favor I owe you will be used." Calvin also smiled.

Ultear gave Calvin a charming look. Her gaze seemed to be filled with endless tenderness, and then she left with a smile.

"Heh ---Council will soon cease to exist, and so will you, Fairy Tail! Calvin, I will find you to repay the humiliation I suffered these two times!" However, in Ultear's heart, she was thinking of something completely different.

"Ultear... Ur... tried to undo the Absolute Ice Knot... What is the relationship between you and Ur..."

In an open space in the village, Lyon and his group were tied up and sitting on the ground. Lyon, who was in a state of panic, was ultimately defeated by Gray.

When Calvin came in front of them, Lucy could not hide his pride. Natsu had recovered from the Thousand Dragon's truth. When he saw Calvin, he immediately shouted, "Look! We have completed the S-level mission! Now you should admit our strength!"

"Oh, you have completed the mission? The villagers in the village are still in the form of demons!" Calvin laughed and continued, "What exactly is the reason that made you think that as long as you beat up Lyon and the others, it would be equivalent to completing the mission?"

"But, those villagers were affected by the Moon Drip, right?" Lucy couldn't help but retort.

"That's right. However, there are also them bathing in the Moon Drip." Calvin smiled and pointed at Lyon and the others on the ground, leaving Lucy speechless.

"Then what is going on?" At this point, the usually calm Gray could not help but ask.

"I told you that you are not qualified to be S-Level. You cannot analyze at all." Calvin sighed and said in a disdainful tone. "Look at the moon in the sky. It is purple. Have you ever thought about why you can only see the purple moon on this island?"

"Why didn't Lyon and the others receive the influence of the Moon Drip? Why is this island called Devil Island? Why can't the villagers approach the ruins? These are obvious clues, but you did not pursue them. Instead, you simply thought that as long as you hit them, you would be able to complete the task! You have no ability to analyze at all. In this way, you will never be able to become S-Level for the rest of your lives." Calvin asked three questions in one breath, scolding them until they were ashamed.

"Well, look at the truth of this island and the truth of the villagers." Calvin turned around in anger and looked up at the sky. Everyone saw it and also looked at the sky. Only then did they realize that a huge figure was slowly approaching the moon in the sky. Looking carefully, the figure looked like a dragon.

Then, everyone saw an unforgettable scene. The giant dragon smashed the moon. No! It should be said that the membrane covering the island was broken. The figures flew to the sky and the group of demons danced.

"So... these villagers were originally demons..." Seeing this, Gray muttered to himself in disbelief.
