Chapter 9: Chapter 9[18+]
After that, they both returned to class, with Eve heading straight to her chair while Travis settled back into his seat. He pulled out his notebook and began to write. More accurately, he was drawing; he had little interest in the actual assignment. Eve caught sight of his artwork—a detailed drawing of Goku.
"You watch anime?" she asked, her tone filled with curiosity. He nodded and replied, "Of course. Why? Do you watch it too?"
"Yeah, so what's your favorite series?" she pressed, her interest piqued. Travis pretended to think for a moment, though he already had an answer in mind.
"Dragon Ball, of course," he said with a smile. She returned the smile and responded, "I enjoy One Piece. A lot of people complain about its length, but that doesn't mean it's boring."
"True, One Piece is pretty good. What's your favorite arc?" he asked.
"I'd say Dressrosa," she replied.
"That's a good one. I personally like Water 7. I used to like Whole Cake Island, though. But after a re-watch, I realized how dragged that arc is. Honestly, after the Timeskip, One Piece's pace kinda lost its plot," he said.
"That's true. I genuinely don't mind since, you know, I get more episodes," Eve said with a smile.
"Yeah. Also, I heard you're one of the smartest in our class. Your GPA is high; how the hell do you manage?"
"I don't know. I just do it; it's kinda like breathing, you know?" she replied softly.
"Wow."
He truly had nothing else to say.
...
While they were speaking together, back home, Jenny was confident in her plan to get money from the site. She got out her camera and set up a tripod. She then placed it on her bed. She wore a mask since, for some reason, she thought it wouldn't be good if people, or more specifically her family, found out that she had her nudes all over the net.
"Okay, now that it's all set up, I just need to be my own sexy self. Which isn't hard," she said with a smug smile. Getting on the bed and spreading her cheeks with both hands, she exposed all her holes. She then took the button and put it into her mouth, pressing it with her teeth as the countdown started.
Five seconds later, the picture was taken, and she got off her bed to check the quality. Seeing everything in the photo with extremely high quality, she was sure that this would make a lot of money. She just needed to take a few more before she posted. Her account had already been set up; people would need to subscribe to her account by paying $3. It was basically like Patreon—the more you pay, the more pics you get to see, the highest payment being $30.
After taking about three more, she checked all of them and made sure her face wasn't visible. She then posted the photos and received someone's subscription, which was the highest payment.
"Wow, the world is filled with horny men," she thought with a smirk.
Jenny kept refreshing, and every time she did, her subs rose. She put her phone down and put her clothes back on.
"I'll check again tonight to see how many people paid me," she muttered to herself.
Downstairs, Debbie was currently in the living room watching a series on Netflix. It was about a woman and her stepchild getting into a relationship due to her husband being busy all the time. She originally picked it out of curiosity, wondering how this story would be a total mess, but now that she sees Travis a bit differently, she can't help but relate to the heroine.
"I wonder if Travis sees me like he sees his stepmother. I would hope he does. I mean, this is real life, not this dumb story that I just happen to be interested in," she thought.
During the time she watched this series, she kept asking herself if Travis saw her as a woman or just his stepmother. Debbie didn't know why she wanted the answer to this question. She blamed it on society, which has this mindset about stepfamilies.
"I should get a drink to calm my nerves," she thought.
Travis and Eve found themselves engrossed in a lively discussion about anime for the entire class period. As the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson, they left together, their conversation flowing seamlessly into the hallway. Their next class was History, a subject Travis considered dull, so he continued chatting with Eve, who shared his lack of enthusiasm.
"After this, it's break time. I'll give you a tour of the school," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Could we reschedule that? I need to grab something from the office," Travis replied. "Actually, I'll just get it quickly and come back to you. Where can I find you?"
"Why don't I just come with you, if you don't mind?" she offered, her tone light.
"I don't mind at all. Now, tell me why you think Whitebeard could solo Naruto," he said, a grin spreading across his face.
Minutes slipped by as they debated fiercely, their voices echoing in the nearly empty corridor. When they reached the third floor, it felt oddly quiet, with only a few students scattered about.
"Alright, Eve, keep guard while I go inside, okay?" he instructed. Eve looked surprised at his request, but before she could respond, Travis dashed into the office.
Inside, the room was spacious and filled with various photos of students, including many of Eve. Travis ignored them, his focus shifting to her desk. He opened the first drawer and found a code written on a piece of paper, which he hurriedly memorized.
His eyes scanned the contents, searching for something useful. He spotted a key to the lockers and snatched it up, intrigued by its potential. Nearby, a stack of files caught his attention, their labels promising secrets he couldn't resist investigating.
'Ohh, the castration cult. What the fuck,' he thought in shock. He didn't bother reading anything; he just took pictures of everything and got out of the room.
He ran back to Eve, and they hurried down to the second floor.
"Why were you sneaking into Mrs. Smith's office?" she asked, a teasing glint in her eye.
"I just wanted to take my AirPods back," he replied, pulling them out with a casual shrug. It was a lie, but she didn't need to know that.
"Ohh, so she got you on your first day? That's some bad luck!" she said, trying to stifle a laugh.
"I know, right? Well, now that we're done, let's start our tour, shall we?"
As they walked, Eve pointed out various classrooms and the cafeteria, her excitement infectious. "This is the art room," she said, gesturing to a colorful door. "It's always a mess in there, but the projects are amazing!"
Travis chuckled, imagining the chaos inside. "Sounds like my kind of place."
They moved on, and she showed him the library, its tall shelves packed with books. "This is where I come to escape," she said softly, her eyes wandering over the spines.
"Any recommendations?" he asked, genuinely curious.
"Definitely! But first, let's check out the gym. It's where all the real action happens," she said with a wink.
Eager to keep the energy up, they headed toward the gym, excitement buzzing between them as they explored the school together.
After that, they returned to the cafeteria, a bustling dining hall filled with chattering students. Travis and Eve found a table and sat down, their conversation picking up where it left off.
"So what else does this school have?" he asked, looking around.
"Well, there are these two people who always stir up drama. Their names are Dexter and Roxxy—short for Roxanne. I'm sure you remember them. They're literally comedy central in real life. You'll probably witness one of their arguments soon enough," she explained, a grin forming on her lips.
"Oh, those two. Never liked them, especially Dexter, that dumb fuck! Anything else I should know?"
