Summertime Loving

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

[A/N: I would like to do everything in order with the story so please be patient, I gotta write so many new things for this to work. I also have to play the game here and there when I forget things. ]

Travis didn't go home after that; instead, he went to the mall to buy computer parts. This would make his plans easier once he had his computer back. Trading would also be easier on the laptop in many ways. He got inside the mall, which was right behind the bank. Travis went in and saw the many people walking around. Unlike in the game, the mall had more than five stores. He saw a store named Consumr—pretty dumb name in his opinion—and entered.

'This place is huge. Well, I'm only here for like two or three items if necessary,' he thought.

He walked around the store for a while, and when he found what he came for, Travis took it. He also got a gas jug. In the game, he could buy gas in this store, but yeah, it's just a jug in real life. He went to the till and paid for his stuff. He didn't see Veronica, so he didn't bother staying any longer. He walked out of the store and thought about what else he needed.

'Umm, maybe a new phone, but I'll see about that when I have more money,' he thought.

He left the mall and walked back home, arriving there 3 minutes later and going straight to his room. He opened up his computer and replaced all the things it needed. After that, he checked to see if it worked.

'Yes, I can finally work properly without back pains,' he thought.

He put in his password and saw the beautiful samurai girl wallpaper. Wasting no time, he entered the internet and searched for the apps he would use to trade. He downloaded them all illegally since, why not? Then he continued with his trading. This time, he had more than $50. He put in $100 and watched the patterns. When he saw a similar pattern that would lead to a massive profit, Travis hurriedly pressed the trade button. He minimized the tab and searched for something else.

"I need to write down all the events before I forget anything," he muttered.

Travis wrote down all the routes. Sure, he missed some, but for the ones he figured as easy, Travis didn't bother with them—like all his teachers. He didn't need to write anything down because everything was straightforward. The ones he needed to write down were for characters like Diana, Maria, Tony, etc. These characters had complex stories, so he needed to write everything he would need to accomplish their arcs.

After doing that, Travis went down and ate some cereal. Debbie and Jenny had already eaten, but he felt like getting some cereal. He went back to his room and checked the results. He had gotten $4,000. Is this possible? Probably not, but yo, who cares. He now had $5,600 in his bank.

'Alright, I'm good with money for the early part of things. What should I do now? I could go and learn martial arts with that old man at the gym. Doing that would low-key help me with Tammy, who is Erik's mom. But I'm not really in a rush. From what I know, the story officially begins on Monday.'

After some time, he thought about buying guns or something that would be used to protect him and his family. The only downside is that he didn't know anything about illegally purchasing one or where to even get one. He thought about the dark web, but then he didn't want a million people using his life as a private livestream by mistake. But he thought about learning.

'I'm not that good at coding, so I guess I'll have to learn that. Also computer science, and basically everything I would need to become good with these things. It might take time, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice to have myself a good life.'

Travis was determined. He now had a clear goal, except for banging all the ladies in this town. And becoming extremely good at almost everything would honestly help him achieve that goal with zero problems.

He did more exercises, pushing himself even further. He had nothing to do, so why not ruin himself with exercises? When he was done, Travis could barely even lift his hand. Was this worth it? Yes, it was.

'Tomorrow is the first day of school. I don't want to give myself too much work, so I'll go after one girl at a time. Who will I go for first? Judith is pretty easy since she has a crush on me, I guess. So she'll be my first,' he thought with a smirk.

In the game, he never understood why he wasn't that into Judith. I mean, she's pretty hot. Well, he had to change his perspective on things. Maybe gaining all this information made him see her differently. Last he checked, he saw her as a weird, lonely girl. Now, he saw her as the 7 out of 10 that he would regret fumbling.

He now had an objective, so he needed to get something out of the way first. He got up and walked to his computer. He sat in the chair and logged into an alternate bank account in another region. He moved 80% of his money onto that card. He was now left with $1,120.

Why did he do this? Well, he now knew that the bank was basically siding with the people who wanted his family dead, which included the mayor and his collab with the Russians. Travis knew that if they found out about the money he had, they would pretty much come and get it from him, and also hurt Debbie and Jenny. So with the little money in his bank, he flew under the radar.

His bank card was said to arrive in a week, which he didn't care for. As long as he knew the number and code, he was good.

Seeing the time, Travis realized that dinner would be ready soon. So he got up from his chair and went to the bathroom. Jenny saw Travis walk past and hurriedly slipped into his room. She looked around for anything suspicious. She knew that Travis had money—not that she was going to steal it, but she would plant something in his room, which would put him in a good spot for her to blackmail him.

She took her panties off and hid them under his mattress. She then ran out and entered her room.

'I'll have that sucker paying me money daily. It'll be as if I have a job. Even that site would be useless if this goes alright,' she thought.

Travis walked out of the shower and saw Jenny standing in front of the door.

"Travis, where are my pink lace panties?" she asked with a serious tone.

"Your what?" he asked as he dried his hair off with a towel.

"My underwear, Travis. I can't find it," she said.

"And so? What does that have to do with me?" he asked. Travis walked away, but she followed him. When he got to his room, he entered, and she followed him in.

"If you don't know where they are, then why don't I search your room?" she smirked while saying this. Travis turned back to her with a blank face. He walked up to Jenny and slowly put his hand around her throat, which surprised her even though he was slow. She tried to retreat, but his grip got tighter.

"I know you planted your underwear in my room. Why would you do that? For money? Well, if you wanted some, you could've asked. You're basically my sister, so why would I refuse if I had money on me?" he said seriously. She blushed, feeling the tight yet pleasurable grip on her throat.

"Now tell me how much you want," he asked.

"Three hundred dollars," she answered in a meek voice.

He let go of her and picked up his phone. He quickly sent her $400 and put his phone back on the table. "Don't ask why I added an extra hundred. Now could you get out? I need to change."

Jenny stared at Travis for some time, then slowly turned back and walked out of the room. He closed the door, then went and changed. After that, he sat at his desk and began trading more. Now, his money entered the other account instead of the one he had in this city.

Jenny sat on her bed and saw the message of $400 being transferred into her account. She honestly felt guilty right now. Travis saw her as a sister and didn't care for her body. She also wanted to blackmail him on top of that. Right now, she felt horrible.

'I guess I should sign up for that site,' she thought.
