Ian sat down directly next to Hermione under the surprised gazes of Harry and Ron.

"Ian, you..." Harry looked at Ian in shock.

Although everyone at Hogwarts knew Ian got along well with Harry, Hermione, and Ron, he had never sat at the Gryffindor table so openly before.

"Hi there. How's your meal?" Ian asked, as if he didn't notice the strange looks from those around him. He casually picked up a piece of toast.

"Ian..." Hermione looked at him, her eyes slightly red.

Ian couldn't bear to see Hermione like that, so he quickly comforted her in a soft voice. "It's okay, Hermione. We can earn the points back."

Well, he had already noted everything against his Hermione. In two days, he'd make sure to deal with a thousand people in a sack a day!

"B-But.. Ian, won't the Slytherin students say something about you sitting here?" Ron asked cautiously.

"Why would they say anything about me?" Ian said, taking a bite of toast. "I'm the prefect of 1st year Slytherins. I've added plenty of points to the house. What grounds would they have to criticize me?"

Harry, looking depressed, said, "Ian, what do you think we should do? Now everyone's blaming us."

Overnight, the Gryffindor students' attitude towards the boy who lived had completely flipped.

He went from being the most popular and beloved figure in Gryffindor to the most hated person in an instant.

Wherever Harry went, the Gryffindor students would point fingers at him and accuse him.

"Don't mind them," Ian said loudly, rolling his eyes in a way that ensured all the Gryffindors could hear. "As long as you two earn back the fifty points you lost, these accusations will naturally disappear."

Harry nodded but suddenly realized something. "Wait, why two? What about Hermione?"

Ian sneered. "Hermione earned more than half of Gryffindor's points by herself! What right do they have to blame her? They're always talking bad about us Slytherins, but at least we Slytherins don't isolate students who've made real contributions to the house."

At Ian's words, the Gryffindor students around them turned to look at him.

However, some sensible Gryffindor students lowered their heads, clearly reflecting on their behavior after hearing Ian's remark.

If there hadn't been so many people around, Hermione would've thrown her arms around Ian and kissed him right then.

"Ian, thank you..." Hermione's eyes were red, her voice choked with emotion.

"Alright, don't cry," Ian said softly, comforting her. "Don't worry. If Gryffindor doesn't appreciate you, Slytherin will always welcome you."

Then, lowering his voice and speaking with a mischievous grin, Ian added, "Don't feel bad, Hermione. Just give it two days—I'll sack up those people and teach them a lesson."

Hermione, who had been feeling incredibly sad, couldn't help but laugh out loud at Ian's words.

"Then you'd better avoid my roommates," she said, her eyes twinkling. "They've been comforting me, not like the others."

Ian looked at Hermione in surprise. He'd expected her to stop him from carrying out his plan, but instead, she was asking him to spare her roommates.

This is... too cool! I've really changed her a lot! Ian thought.

"Point out your roommates, and I'll avoid them," Ian said quickly.

Hermione gestured to the girls sitting near her. "This is Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Padma Patil, and Isabella Swan."

The girls all smiled at Ian and greeted him warmly.

Ian also greeted the group, as he was familiar with them.

Lavender Brown—Ron's first girlfriend. The Patil sisters—Harry and Ron's dance partners at the Yule Ball during the Triwizard Tournament. As for the last one...

Ian looked at the unfamiliar Gryffindor girl. When his eyes landed on her delicate and beautiful face, they lit up.

So pretty!

Since when did Gryffindor have such a stunning little witch?

How come I've never noticed her before? Ian thought. She looked familiar too—wait, wasn't this Christine...?

[Ding! A target for capture is detected! Isabella Swan, the heroine of Twilight!]

"What?!" Ian's eyes widened, and he asked loudly in his mind, System, are you sure? Isabella Swan?! This is the world of Harry Potter! The heroine of Twilight! How could she possibly be here?!

[Ding! Ding...@#$^system%!$#....*%¥@34%#]

[The system can only detect people, not their backgrounds! However, this does not affect the capture of dorm students.]

Ian: "..."

He looked at the beautiful Isabella and fell into deep thought.

"Ian? Ian?" Hermione's voice broke through his thoughts as she frowned and whispered, noticing Ian's prolonged stare at Isabella.

"Ah? Ah... were you saying something..?" Ian snapped out of it, smiling awkwardly.

Hermione reached out and pinched Ian's waist hard. "Don't keep staring at other girls!"

"Hiss..." Ian sucked in a breath of pain and looked at Hermione with a hint of complaint. "Am I that kind of person?"

"Yes!" Hermione said without hesitation.

"What the.."

"Hmph! You were just staring at Isabella like you were completely entranced!"

There's already Cassandra. Do you want an Isabella too?

Hermione thought to herself, frowning. What's with him and girls whose names end in '-a'?

"I just thought she looked familiar..." Ian muttered softly, rubbing his nose.

Hermione snorted coldly. "You think all the pretty girls look familiar."

Ian:

God knows, I'm really not that kind of person!
