Chapter 158: Laila is missing?
Seth's conditions simply revolved around the demand that both Anabelle and Maydeath would be forbidden from harming anyone who gets into a relationship with Seth. Neither a direct approach nor any plot against the woman whom Seth takes as an official partner.
He was aware of what goes in the mind of the two, that's why he had prepared the Soulbond yesterday by paying a hefty sum from his storage.
However, the condition he asked for the girls to write in exchange for agreeing to his demands was something Seth wasn't expecting. Well, not entirely.
"So, not only do both of you want to spend at least three days a week with me but also want to get your virginity taken by me." When he voiced out the exact same condition of both, Maydeath and Anabelle widened their eyes with their face entirely dyed in the shade of crimson.
Seth concluded that these two must have calculated how much time they could take to not hinder his work and progress. However, the virginity part came a bit surprising.
Though from his solemn expression, it couldn't be perceived that he was baffled here. Nevertheless, Seth sighed and corrected the first demand.
"Not three days a week but two days a month. And about the second point...then I need some time for that. If you both are willing then we would continue this conversation, otherwise... "
"Yes!"
"We agree!" Both Anabelle and Maydeath immediately exclaimed before they took back the contracts and altered the terms according to his words.
In the first place, they weren't even expecting Seth to form Soulbond at all. They thought he would resist them and do whatever he wanted. These two demands were the gifts from the heavens that both girls dreamt of yet never dared to ask.
But today, even Anabelle got the green light that she could pursue Seth in those ways so one day they could become one...
For Seth's part then he just wanted to keep these two by his side considering what great help these two would provide in the near future.
Biting his thumb just like the other two did, Seth also planted some droplets of his blood over the contracts before it glowed slightly and disappeared.
No physical proof was required to keep a record of these contracts since one's soul gets etched with the conditions and demands as soon as they bind themselves with the Soulbond.
"Thanks." Seth thanked Anabelle since the thumb he bit was already healed thanks to the 1st Tier healer.
"I-It was nothing... " Anabelle replied while fidgeting when suddenly Lara walked in with the refresher.
"Ah, Lara. Arrange a room for Maydeath. And prepare dinner for the three of us. "
"As you command, master. " As an obedient maid, Lara bowed and after putting the tray over the vacant table by the door, she took her leave.
"Why only her?"Anabelle pouted at that.
"Your dorm is nearby and Maydeath would also return by tomorrow, right? "
Despite it sounding that he was asking, by his tone it was evident that Seth was commanding the girl to return to her homeland as soon as she could.
"Alright, fine. But let's chat a bit tonight after you finish your work, alright? "
Seth nodded and by the looks of it, he knew Anabelle was going to throw a tantrum and stay in the mansion alongside Maydeath as well.
Well, there were many rooms in the mansion, and Anabelle had grown past that phase where rumors regarding her staying in his villa could bother the girl.

[At the same time]
Inside a small room, a beautiful young woman with shiny violet hair could be seen lying motionlessly over her bed with her forearm draped over her head and eyes slightly parted as she thought about the unexpected news she heard recently.
'What could I have expected...he's a nobility after all... 'Haruka had mixed feelings about this whole situation.
A side of hers was finding it natural for Seth to marry into influential families to spread his authority and get himself a life partner who could support him at various checkpoints of his life.
However, a dominant side of hers was feeling uneasy because of all of this. She couldn't bring herself to accept the fact that the boy who confessed his love just some weeks ago could get over her this soon.
She was sure that Seth's confession held utmost sincerity and that he wasn't playing around with her at all. She has seen it in his eyes. He loves her...yet Seth never even told her before accepting the engagement proposal.
Haruka accepts that she has been a little distant from Seth these days because of her own insecurities and such but it was still too sudden.
And Haruka had justifiable reason to remain a little away from him since she wasn't any noble and Seth was the leading heir of the strongest family of Ranghaur after the Emperor.
How could she not get conscious about it and feel nervous at the prospectus to introduce herself as Seth's partner?
It was true that she also came to like Seth after all that happened but this was too sudden and Haruka never got the time to stabilize her feelings.
'As I thought...in the end, he prefers someone of his age... '
Haruka knew it was a mere excuse she was making in order to accept the reality but still, the tiny droplet of tears forming at the corner of her eyes signified her true feelings and how heavy her heart currently seemed.
It was then when suddenly a spirit familiar arrived in her room with a letter.
'Hmm? Lara?'After unbinding the letter from the spirit's leg Haruka saw the familiar name of the maid who had taken care of Haruka when she was recuperating in Seth's mansion.
With a confused expression, she unfolded the letter only to realize something that might change her thoughts...

Meanwhile back in the girls' dorm Serena was searching for a certain pink-haired senior who was missing from the dorm since morning.
Not even the warden has seen her returning and no one else knows her whereabouts.
In a panic, she walked out of the dorm to search for the girl along with some of Laila's friends who were worried for her.
'I hope you are safe, Senior... ' Wiping the tear of guilt from her eyes Serena continued searching for the girl.
