Chapter 268- Spell Dismantle
The moment Bellarine stepped inside the room, her eyes widened at the sight.
"No..."
Amelia's belly was glowing as she clutched the sheets and her body convulsed. Her face was paler than a sheet and sweat and tears continued to pour down her face.
"The baby...it's already trying to get out...." Bellarine uttered under her breath before she hurriedly commanded,
"Go and bring several wet towels, gloves, a tub of cold water and...just bring everything!" Violet moved like a wind, disappearing from the room to bring the necessary things.
Bellarine sat down beside Amelia, and held her hand, "Breath, Amelia. Breath." She calmly blew over her face to cool down, not Amelia but rather herself.
Turning towards Rena, she said, "The AC."
Rena was too stunned to move, but Bellarine's words helped her to climb out of her shock before she turned on the turbo air cooler.
The cabinets and the AC vents flipped, and large rapid-spinning fans appeared, which began cooling down the room rapidly.
Lilia, who seemed unnaturally anxious, asked the redhead, "Is it already the time?"
"Aahhhh!" Amelia let out a scream as she clutched Bellarine's hand tightly and streams of tears continued to flow down her face.
Bellarine didn't think for long before turning towards Rena,
"Call him, now!"

[A few minutes ago]
An unexpected opponent showed their face as Richard and Bellarine finished most of the soldiers from the Asian Alliance.
Emily easily crushed all the warships and the soldiers waiting inside, one after another—until a certain beam of invisible light struck her barrier and disintegrated it
The blond girl stood beside her beloved, as she whispered, "He must be the one who broke the Outer Ring."
Richard narrowed his eyes at the man wearing a white cloak and brown pants. With his hands crossed behind his back, the brown-haired man looked back at Richard.
"Ability to dismantle a spell, huh...I thought only Brother had the ability." Bella voiced that ushered Lena to add,
"No, actually, there had been a few people with the same ability, but they were not in the same league as that man."
Richard raised his brows, "Do you know him?"
The silver-haired Vice-commander grimly nodded, "One of the seven generals of Japan—Kurokawa Daisuke."
Richard raised his brows, it was surprising. He thought Japan, despite being a part of the Asian Alliance doesn't participate in the organization's matters.
However, he was wrong.
"I have heard," The man began, " Someone has destroyed one of our allies. Pulling resources and gathering forces."
Richard narrowed his eyes, "Fret not; those forces aren't going to target the Asian Alliance." Richard spoke. Although he generally prefers to end the battle without talking,
However, now, he needs to finish the business as soon as he can and return to Amelia. So if things could be sorted by talking-
"Those words cannot be trusted. I shall put an end to this farce right here and right now."
...guess not.
The man suddenly summoned a bow that glowed with a greenish hue, as he got ready for the battle.
Bella narrowed her eyes before chanting under her breath.
Four flaming red circles formed before her as she prepared the flame funnel to launch at the man, however, before the spell could have formed the man pulled the bow and shot an invisible arrow toward Bella—
*CLANG*
The spell circles were destroyed, the Aembr disintegrating and under Bella's annoyed gaze, she failed to attack the opponent Find your next read at My Virtual Library Empire
"Strange ability. His application of spell dismantling is different from mine." Richard voiced. It was unlike him who congregates magic at one point before launching at the spell chanter.
That blob of magic sends the spell circle formation into haywire. Since every chanter needs to maintain just the right amount of magic needed for a spell, adding even a droplet disrupts the whole process.
However, this man launched a spell to interrupt her chanting, which Richard failed to notice.
Interesting.
Richard stepped forward and waved his hand.
Much to Daisuke's astonishment several spell circles began to form around him.
The surface began to tremble under the sheer pressure of Aembr radiating from the spells.
Daisuke moved like a whirlwind, launching several arrows in each direction, aiming to disrupt the magic circles as soon as he could.
'Not too fast,' Richard smirked as two spell circles ignited and sent a streak of flame toward the archer.
"Shi--**BOOOOM*" He barely had the time to move as Daisuke launched away from his spot, but the explosion still caught him—sending his body hurtling away like a ragdoll.
"That's some overwhelming control of Aembr you have." Lena praised. She had seen him doing it a couple of times, yet she still couldn't believe how a man could chant so many complex spells at once. And more so, without chanting.
"You will also be able to do that once you learn that magic isn't as complex as you think it is."
Lena couldn't think that she could achieve something like that, but she didn't say anything about it and added, "Well, he hasn't lost yet."
Richard turned towards the battlefield, and indeed, the man was still pushing himself up from the ground.
He was about to step forward and end the battle—when suddenly,
[RICHARD! AMELIA!]
Only two words echoed in his head, and Richard switched to his elemental state.
Daisuke, who was about to get up, suddenly froze when he felt the overwhelming mana from nearby.
"I surrender!" He suddenly fell back down and stretched his arms to show that he actually had surrendered.
However, no one paid attention to him, as Bella asked, "What happened, brother?"
Richard shook his head, "I don't know, but Rena seemed anxious and she mentioned Amelia. I am going there." With those words, he shot into the air like a missile, tearing the sound barrier as he flew towards his wife.
'Just a few minutes, Amelia...hang in there...'
