Chapter 203: Chapter 203 Jade Of The Flame King (Bonus)
"Jade of the Flame King?" Master Magi's incredulous voice echoed in Blaze Regret's mind.
"What is that?" Blaze Regret asked, puzzled, glancing at Nor Amelia. But she merely looked back at him coldly.
"The Flame King's Jade, to be precise, is a kind of spiritual treasure," Master Magi explained. "When some powerful spirit beasts perish, they transform into various rare and peculiar items. Some of these can be borrowed by other spirit beasts, becoming part of their bodies and enhancing their strength.
Legend has it that the ancestor of the Rock horn Dragon Rhinoceros acquired a dragon horn transformed from a true dragon, which granted it dragon blood and the ability to crush spirit beasts of the same rank."
"What other uses does it have?" Blaze Regret asked, surprised but curious.
"Other uses include what this Flame King's Jade can do. When worn by a fire type spirit master, it can significantly shorten the time needed for cultivation, allowing spirit beasts within the spirit portal to break through quickly. Describing it as 'achieving a thousand miles in a single breath' wouldn't be an exaggeration.
For water type and ice type spirit master, it can suppress water or ice toxins within their bodies."
Hearing this, Blaze Regret smacked his lips. He seemed to understand the origin of the name "Blazing Fire Spirit King." According to historical records of the Sun Moon Empire, this individual was once an unknown minor spirit master who suddenly rose to prominence overnight, defeating the strongest contemporaries until his eventual fall. He likely relied on the Flame King's Jade.
Blaze Regret smiled faintly, walked up to the Flame King's Jade, and gently picked it up, wiping it with his sleeve.
Seeing this, a trace of subtle disappointment flashed in Nor Amelia's eyes, but she quickly sighed softly. In the face of such a treasure, who wouldn't be tempted?
"Here, take it. Our past misunderstandings are cleared up," Blaze Regret said, tossing the Flame King's Jade through the air, where it landed in Nor Amelia's palm.
"Do you know what this is?" Nor Amelia asked incredulously, looking at Blaze Regret. This was the Flame King's Jade, after all. Any fire type spirit master wearing it could smoothly ascend to the Spirit Sovereign level within three years, and might even touch the realm of powerful Spirit Celestial!
"Does it matter if I know or not? It's yours anyway," Blaze Regret shrugged indifferently. With the Flame King's Jade, one might soar to great heights, but that wasn't what he sought. A spirit master who grows through battles is the true strong one.
Nor Amelia pressed her rosy lips together and gently placed the Flame King's Jade inside her clothing, the vigilance in her eyes subtly fading away.
From the momentary surprise in Blaze Regret's eyes, it was clear he understood the value of the Flame King's Jade. Although she didn't know how he knew, any other spirit master would certainly not have handed it over so readily.
"We're close to the main burial chamber. How about we cooperate?" Blaze Regret suggested with a smile, looking at Nor Amelia.
After glancing at Blaze Regret's clear eyes, a faint smile appeared on Nor Amelia's delicate face, the beautiful curve of her lips drawing one into a trance.
In the dark passage, sharp arrows shot out from all directions. Water Fairy spun his hands, and a wide vortex of spiritual power swirled out, sweeping around and shattering the arrows into fragments.
"The main burial chamber should be ahead," Nor Amelia said softly, her lively eyes fixed on the iron door in front.
nodded and was about to order Red to blast it open when Nor Amelia, standing beside him, gently waved her hand.
"Don't force it open. There's a hidden lock on the iron door. We just need to find a way to open it. If we damage the treasures inside, it would be a great loss," Nor Amelia said with a faint smile, walking slowly to the door.
"You know about traps?" looked at Nor Amelia in surprise.
"I've learned a bit," Nor Amelia replied with a nod and smile. She then fell silent, extending her slender fingers to gently press a small, protruding point on the door.
As Nor Amelia's finger moved the silver dot, it slowly shifted. The sheer number of these points, like stars, made turn his gaze away in frustration.
"Click!"
A crisp sound echoed. Nor Amelia clapped her hands lightly and took a few steps back.

With a clang, dust accumulated on the top of the iron door fell, and it began to lift slowly. Moments later, a spacious burial chamber appeared before their eyes.
In the center of the chamber lay a massive coffin. Above it grew a huge fire tree, its dense branches stretching out. Six white, glowing orbs hung from the branches, each containing a vague shadow.
"This must be the real treasure," said, licking his slightly dry lips, filled with excitement.
"It seems no one else has arrived yet. Shall we split it?" Nor Amelia tilted her head and smiled.
"Alright, I'll go get them," grinned. Flames burst from his feet as he shot towards the fire tree, leaping lightly and reaching out to grab one of the glowing orbs.
"Whoosh!"
However, just as Blaze Regret was about to touch it, a lightning spear, crackling with electric sparks, suddenly shot at him with the sound of thunder, aimed straight at his heart.
Seeing this, Blaze Regret's eyes narrowed. Almost instinctively, he reversed his palm towards his chest, and a bone chilling ice blade slashed down hard.
"Bang!"
Stumbling to the ground, a trickle of blood appeared on Blaze Regret's chest. At the spot where he had been standing, a sharp lightning spear was embedded in the ground, shattering the surface rock, with dazzling lightning coursing around it.
Slowly straightening up, Blaze Regret looked at Kartis Miller, who was grinning mischievously. His gaze icy cold, he channeled cold energy into his palm to freeze the injured area.
