Strongest Possessor of One Piece

Chapter 29: SPOP Chapter 29 Elementalization

The ravens scattered in the air before coalescing back into Rojen's form. Dragon watched all of this happen with a grave look in his eyes. There was even a mocking glint in the crows' eyes, further baffling him. What kind of ability could mimic the powers of a Logia Devil Fruit so convincingly?

With a ferocious lunge, Dragon unleashed a devastating Dragon Claw, a torrent of wind slicing through the air. Rojen shattered into crows again, seemingly unable to react. This repeated, and Dragon's eyes sharpened. His Observation Haki spread out, sensing something unusual amidst the chaos.

Meanwhile, Rojen was absorbing the techniques and talents of Uchiha Itachi. The Mangekyō Sharingan, potent Genjutsu, fearsome Dōjutsu, and mastery over fire-style ninjutsu were formidable. In the Naruto world, Itachi was legendary. For Rojen, exchanging 75 Million for this opportunity was a stroke of incredible luck.

This was invaluable to him. He was determined to make the most of it. Acquiring even one of Itachi's abilities would be a tremendous blessing. But whether he could fully acquire them depended on winning this battle.

Rojen's eyes narrowed, his Sharingan spinning faster. The scarlet glow of his eyes locked onto Dragon, sending a shiver down the Rear Admiral's spine.

"Dragon, I can't continue playing here."

Rojen's tone was low, his expression solemn.

"Playing?"

Dragon raised an eyebrow, sensing Rojen might be underestimating him. A faint smile touched his lips.

"It seems you've underestimated this generation's Marines Rear Admiral."

"Hm?" Rojen's expression turned questioning, sensing Dragon had realized something.

"If I'm not mistaken, I'm caught in some kind of illusion-based ability, right?"

Dragon's eyes gleamed. In the next moment, his entire body surged with energy, breaking free from Rojen's genjutsu.

This caught Rojen off guard. Then, an amused smile spread across his face.

"As expected of Dragon."

With a flick of his long sword, Rainbow Abyss, Rojen twirled it through the air, producing a series of dazzling sword flowers. Then, with one hand forming seals, three identical Rojens appeared beside him, each wielding a sword as they encircled Dragon.

"You're getting a bit arrogant. Strength is a good thing, but you're not very clear about your position— and that could be a problem."

As the Rojens charged, Dragon shook his head, making no effort to dodge.

In the span of just three breaths, the four Rojens reached him. Their swords gleamed as they slashed through Dragon's body, their strikes cutting cleanly.

However, as Rojen's sword sliced through Dragon's figure, his Sharingan spun rapidly, and a sense of danger erupted in his mind.

"Do you know how fast the wind moves?"

"How fast… the wind... moves?!"

Rojen froze. In the blink of an eye, the three shadow clones dissolved into white mist with a series of muffled bursts.

His instincts screamed at him, his skin crawling as a chill spread up his spine. A crushing fear took hold of him, and he realized that someone had silently appeared behind him.

Unnoticed, a tall, imposing figure loomed at his back, its shadow enveloping him. The billowing Justice cape, the resolute expression laced with authority— it was Dragon.

"So fast!"

Rojen was shocked. Without hesitation, his right hand began forming seals.

But just as his seals took shape, the man behind him moved decisively.

"Bang!"

A burst of white mist scattered, leaving Dragon holding nothing more than a piece of torn cloth in his hand.

"Interesting. This isn't genjutsu anymore."

Dragon squinted as he began scanning his surroundings. Rojen's figure had vanished.

Meanwhile, hiding behind a nearby building, Rojen's heart was pounding wildly.

"As expected of Dragon— he is terrifying! The ninja's Kawarimi no Jutsu (Substitution Jutsu) truly proves to be the most useful in combat."

Narrowing his eyes, Rojen clasped his hands together and formed seals once more.

In a blink, a shadow clone materialized before him. The two, sharing the same mind, exchanged a brief nod. The clone immediately dashed out, while the real Rojen, his gaze deep and thoughtful, hesitated for a moment before calmly stepping forward.

Ninjas never fight recklessly. Their battles rely on numerous factors: assessing the environment, seizing opportunities, and strategic thinking. The same ninjutsu, when executed by a genius versus a fool, yields vastly different outcomes.

As soon as Rojen's shadow clone emerged, Dragon had already noticed it. His body flickered, twisting momentarily before reappearing in front of the clone, bringing down a swift strike.

"Bang!"

The shadow clone exploded into a puff of white mist. Dragon frowned. His Observation Haki was still in its early stages, with a limited range. If it were fully developed, locating the boy's hiding spot would have been effortless.

"Clones, genjutsu, substitution techniques, and that bizarre Dojutsu... what a troublesome opponent."

By this point in the battle, Dragon had to admit that Rojen's potential was immense— perhaps even comparable to that of Roger himself.

Suddenly, Dragon's eyes flashed as he spun around sharply.

At the exact moment he turned, Rojen was already leaping high into the air. His hands blurred into a flurry of seals. Taking a deep breath, his chest expanded, and with a powerful exhale, he unleashed his technique.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique)!"

"Whoosh!"

A massive torrent of flames, flowing like a river, surged toward Dragon. The firestorm moved with incredible speed, consuming its target almost instantaneously.

Landing heavily on the ground, Rojen exhaled deeply, his expression tense as he stared ahead.

For an ordinary person, being engulfed in such flames—spanning over three meters high— would have reduced them to ashes. But for Dragon? It wasn't certain.

In fact, even after his journey through this world, the original story never revealed Dragon's true abilities. All that was known was that this man was extraordinarily dangerous— far more so than his deceased brother.

To be recognized as the world's most wanted criminal was no simple feat.

The fire raged, devouring Dragon's figure completely. But as the inferno subsided, Rojen's pupils contracted into narrow slits.

He saw it clearly: Dragon's body, scorched by the flames, reappeared piece by piece from the void, gradually reforming until it was entirely intact.

The man hadn't suffered a single scratch.

The Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique) had been utterly ineffective!
