Strongest Medical Saint

Chapter 359: Don't Thank Me Too Much

The fighter jets that had been rapidly approaching from the distance, upon receiving Kouro's commands, all began to circle the skies around them, waiting for Kouro's next instructions.

Shen Feng looked at the halted jets in the distance and shrugged his shoulders slightly; as long as these people knew what was good for them, he felt no need to decimate them completely.

Kraun, transformed into a human stick, lay on the deck wailing non-stop, with fresh blood continuously flowing from his severed limbs. His face was filled with pain and panic—what kind of background did this Nameless have? It was already surprising to have a turtle as large as a mountain, but now there was such a bizarre scorpion. He had absolutely no power to resist in the grasp of the scorpion.

Upon seeing Shen Feng board the warship, the Undead Monster Scorpion shrunk back to its original size and hopped back onto Shen Feng's shoulder, lying down quietly and not moving, showing none of its former ferocity.

Xia Baikang, Gu Hengyuan, Jia Longxuan, and others observed the ever-changing scenes before them, finding it increasingly difficult to regain their composure. When did scorpions start speaking human language? And a scorpion that was originally only the size of a palm suddenly grew to over two meters in length.

This was the real world, not a mythical story! First, there was a black turtle whose size could change to that of a mountain, and now a scorpion like this appeared—could it be that this scorpion was also Shen Feng's mount?

Shen Feng glanced at Nibelis, Xia Muyan, and the others and, as he was about to reattach the sinews in their hands and feet, a helicopter approached rapidly from a distance.

From the helicopter came a voice speaking unfamiliar Huaxia Country language, "I mean no harm, please let me come over!"

It turned out that Kouro was the one aboard the helicopter.

He focused all his energy on his throat, making sure his voice could spread far and wide.

He had known before that Kraun had captured a few people from Huaxia Country, and he was only responsible for blockading the coast and assisting Kraun if necessary. He had no right to interfere with the business of the Federation of the Ultra-capable.

But now that everything had spun out of control, he had to intervene or the situation would become much worse.

That figure leaping from warship to warship was definitely related to the giant Turtle Monster.

Kouro speculated that this figure must also be from Huaxia Country, and he had to fully resolve the matter, or else it could cause significant trouble for their nation.

Although their nation had a presence within the Federation of the Ultra-capable, Kraun, who had come this time, was not from their nation.

Based on various speculations in his mind, that's why he tried his best to speak in Huaxia Country language.

Upon hearing Kouro's words, Shen Feng showed no change in expression and simply watched the helicopter slowly land on the warship where he stood.

When Kouro stepped down from the helicopter and after his gaze swept around and landed on Kraun, turned into a human stick on the ground, his face drastically changed before he regained his composure.

His gaze settled on Shen Feng, and his first impression was that this Huaxia Country man was too young. This must be the figure who had been leaping across the warships just now.

Kouro organized his thoughts and spoke very politely, "Friend from Huaxia Country, there might have been some misunderstanding between us. The whole incident was provoked by the Federation of the Ultra-capable. We were merely following orders from above. However, I can assure you now that no one will attack you again. If possible, I would like to invite you to become an honored guest of our country forever."

Shen Feng indeed hadn't sensed any killing intent from Kouro, and these people hadn't directly involved themselves either. He pointed his finger at the Void Mysterious Turtle.

The Void Mysterious Turtle, massive as a mountain range, began to shrink rapidly upon seeing Shen Feng's gesture, eventually becoming as tiny as a fist.

The battleships advancing from the surroundings were too far away to see anything other than the Void Mysterious Turtle getting smaller and smaller before it seemed to vanish.

Directly in front of Shen Feng and the others, a huge battleship was slowly approaching. On its deck stood a middle-aged man with a head full of white hair; he was another commander responsible for the sea blockade but ranked slightly lower than Kouro.

His name was Gakor, currently a junior Ultra-capable Grandmaster. Following Kouro's report of the situation, Gakor also received orders from his superiors and immediately mobilized nearby battleships.

Gakor had naturally received Kouro's order as well but now, standing on the deck, he saw from a distance what seemed to be Kouro's exclusive helicopter and the Turtle Monster disappearing. Gakor hadn't seen the Turtle Monster destroy several battleships because of Shen Feng's leap; he assumed it was the Turtle Monster's doing.

Now that the massive Turtle Monster seemed to have completely vanished and he hadn't received any new orders from his superiors, only Kouro's command to cease fire.

Still, the direct orders had come from above, and a ruthless thought flashed through his mind. If Kouro were dead, he was almost certain he could take Kouro's place.

Gakor quickly picked up the communication device, contacted battleships approaching Shen Feng and his companions from several other directions, and ordered them to immediately fire at Shen Feng's vessel.

All these battleships were under Gakor's command. Upon hearing his command, the crews aimed their cannons and even missiles at the vessel carrying Shen Feng and his companions.

Meanwhile, Gakor's own battleship didn't point its heavy weaponry at the ship carrying Shen Feng and Kouro. After all, if there was to be an investigation later, this ship hadn't attacked, providing an opportunity to find a scapegoat.

Shen Feng, standing aboard a distant battleship, surveyed the surrounding sea. He could sense that battleships from all directions except one were getting ready to attack.

Seeing Shen Feng frown deeply, Kouro picked up binoculars and scanned the battleships closing in from all around. His face changed dramatically and he bellowed, "What the hell is Gakor trying to do? Does he want to kill me here as well?"

Immediately after, he grabbed the communication device and shouted, "Gakor, do you realize what you're doing? Stop your foolish actions right now. I can pretend nothing has happened. Are you trying to get your men killed?"

Soon, Gakor's voice came through Kouro's communication device: "Kouro, I'm merely following orders from above."

"You don't need to threaten me here. Now that the massive monster has disappeared, attacking your battleship won't provoke it."

"You can be at ease on your way out. Your position should have been mine long ago."

As the voice in the communication device faded, Kouro tried to contact the fighter jets to intercept the battleships preparing to attack them.

But Shen Feng didn't have the patience. He muttered to himself, "Why are there so many flies?"

"I'll help your country clean up some of its trash. You don't have to thank me too much."
