Stellaris: NEX in mass effect and Beyond

Chapter 9: the system Alliance

On site Science base on planet verge II -

The Scientist, Emily, Ripley in her team continue to observe the natural warm hole as they have been for the past five years, ever since the discovery of the Prothean data cache on Mars humanities technology jump, centuries ahead, given them their ability to create faster than light travel in order to go into the cosmos.

On top of that the discovery of the mass relay, network allowed humanity to grab several dozen worlds, and with the discovery of potential aliens, the United Nations of earth created a new governmental body, one that is not taken seriously enough yet the system alliance was the answer of having a presence outside of earth.

While the system alliance have major sway over security in the new fleet of humanity, they simply do not have the influence to regulate who colonized want as each world, asteroid belt, and any type of planetoid is exploited by different nations back on earth and individual companies pioneering their own colony endeavors.

This one is no different as Emily and her team are part of a scientific community. That's backed by a few corporate companies back on earth but her and her team have to wrap it up since they've gotten all the data they could possibly get from this natural phenomenon.

As the company continues its endeavor to set up more infrastructure for the colony of this world of Vega II, and its future in occupants for this plan, it was made to be a resort for many people still on earth wanting to explore space and visit new alien worlds.

Has Emily Ripley continue storing all the data that her team has collected over the years onto additional drives since they're going to be packing up with the next few months.

As she was wrapping up the last of the data, she noticed one of her colleagues, Jeff, coming in with a fresh cup of coffee for her, since she's been up all night with the downloads of scientific data.

Jeff: hey Emily, I thought you would need some coffee you sure as hell looks like you need it.

Jeff, referring to her eyes as there's much dark lining underneath them, indicating she has not gotten much sleep in the past few days.

Emily: yeah thank you I am I really need this. I just been trying to get ahead of the curve so we're not like behind. Do you know where we're heading next after this assignments over.

Emily ask out of curiosity has she shipped her coffee as a hot liquid goes down her throat feeling her insides which much warmth.

Jeff: yeah, us and several others are going to another mass really found we're gonna try opening it up to see where it leads hopefully some more worlds.

Jeff's replied with much excitement in his voice scene where the next adventure would lead.

Emily, for her part was silent for a bit before she proposed a question.

Emily: hey Jeff, do you think Aliens exist?

Jeff thought for a few minutes before replying as his own concern on the matter is evident by his facial expression.

Jeff: i'm not sure like we should've found somebody now do you think we can't possibly be the only intelligent life out there in this vast galaxy you know?

However, before Emily could state another question or answer, his massive siren was going off within the science base, indicating in a state of emergency.

Emily put her body into overdrive and reach to communications device nearby. She used to serve in a Boot Camp when she was younger since her father was an army man. He wanted her to have plenty of experience and old training does die hard.

Emily: Richard come in what is the status? Why is the sirens going off?

Richard, the head honcho in charge of this operation and leading Marine Commander reply to her on the communications device.

Richard: that's an easy one to answer for you doc on the one who engaged the sirens after all, we got company.

Emily, with clear confusion, replied back to Richard, with some concern in her voice.

Emily: corporate mercenary's?

Emily asked with much concern after all the other corporations still fight each other, not out in the open, but secretly with black ops teams they raised themselves, with this new age of the exploration, the corporate companies have been in overdrive, fighting each other for resources.

Richard, responding over the communication device, had his own grim voice on the matter.

Richard: Hell no but I wish they were at least then I know what the fuck I'm dealing with no!! I'm sorry dark, but it looks like you Science geeks are gonna get your wish. We got extraterrestrials inbound just look out your window.

Emily not believing his words went up to the observation deck to look out the window and what she Saul took her breath away a massive ship hangover the new lead establish a colony on Vega II that's about the same size as an alliance frigate hanging over ministering bully with bright yellow lights coming out of it and if you look closely, you can see several smaller ships coming out of it, making their way to land inside the colony.

Emily/Jeff: oh my God!!!!!
