One day later.
It was already late at night.
In the forest at the border of the Land of Lightning, Samui and her team were sitting on the grass, eating and resting to recover their strength.
Darui ate a ration pill while complaining, "Really, Raikage-sama is asking too much of us. Rescuing Yugito-sama with just such a small clue is impossible."
"Since you've been complaining, you should think about how to catch the attacker. Otherwise, you won't be able to explain to Lord Raikage," Samui said, looking at her Anbu subordinates. "How's your investigation going?"

Samui sighed.
Darui began to complain again. "Forget it, Samui. Don't waste time if we can't find anyone. Let's go back to the village early and let Lord Raikage think of another way."

As the smoke dissipated, a ninja dog that looked like a husky with a forehead protector appeared in front of everyone.
"Woof?!" The ninja dog looked around in confusion, as if wondering why it wasn't in Konoha.
Samui looked at the ninja dog with satisfaction and smiled. "Konoha's tracking units are second to none in the ninja world. The ninja dogs they train have incredible tracking skills. With its help, finding the attacker shouldn't be difficult."
"Still, it's a stolen technique," Darui said, still uneasy.
Samui took out a Kumogakure forehead protector from her pouch and threw it in front of the ninja dog. "Be good. Smell this. It's Lady Yugito's forehead protector. Follow the scent and help us find her."
The ninja dog sniffed the forehead protector, then quickly ran off in a specific direction.
"It must have caught the scent. Let's follow it," Samui said, quickly chasing after the dog.
Darui and the Anbu ninjas had no choice but to follow her.

In the dark forest at the border, Hitani was walking forward calmly.
Suddenly, Hitani stopped and looked ahead. The grass was shaking violently, and then a husky-like ninja dog burst out from the underbrush.
"Woof woof woof!" The ninja dog barked and pounced at Hitani.
Hitani casually waved his hand and slapped the ninja dog on the face.

The ninja dog was sent flying and crashed into a bush, where it lay motionless.
"That's a ninja dog," Hitani muttered, narrowing his eyes.
Just as he finished speaking, Samui's voice came from the other side of the bush. "Hurry up, everyone! If you don't run faster, we'll lose the ninja dog. I only have one, and if we lose it, we'll never find Lady Yugito!"
Then Darui's voice followed. "Seriously, that ninja dog runs too fast. Are all of Konoha's summoning beasts this fast? What a pain."
As the voices grew closer, a group of people rushed out of the bushes. It was Samui and her team. They saw Hitani and froze in place.
Hitani also looked at them calmly.
The atmosphere suddenly became awkward, and everyone was caught off guard.
After a few seconds of silence, Samui's body tensed. She pointed at Hitani and shouted, "That's him! He's one of the rogue ninjas who attacked Lady Yugito!"
