Starting Over As Minato

Chapter 26: Chapter 25 Minato's Future Plan

Minato had made up his mind—once the war was over, he would teach Naruto a few more ninjutsu. Unfortunately, he had no way to pass on his spiritual pressure to Naruto or anyone else.

When he questioned the system about it, the response was blunt: different worlds had different power systems, and they couldn't be directly integrated. The system elaborated, explaining that the only reason Minato could use Kido was that it had directly infused the power of a Shinigami into his body. All abilities within the system were granted by the system itself, allowing him to use them freely.

Before Minato could inquire further, the system continued, stating that if others wanted to use such powers, they would need something else. Moments later, the system's assistant cheerfully announced that new products had been launched and encouraged him to take a look.

Minato's mouth twitched. With only 35 points to his name, he couldn't afford anything. Then, he noticed a new addition to his inventory—a **Chakra-based Kido Learning Scroll**. His expression darkened. This system was practically running a scam.

Clicking on the item's description, he read that it contained training methods for Hadō, Kaidō, and Fudō, all adapted for chakra use. The price? 120 points. He sighed, wondering when he'd ever save up enough. The chakra version of Kido was weaker than the spiritual pressure version, but it was better than nothing. For now, he put the matter aside and exited the system space.

Back in reality, Naruto bit his thumb, his hands swiftly weaving a series of seals. Slamming his palm onto the ground, a summoning formula spread beneath him, glowing with intricate runes.

A loud explosion of smoke erupted, and when it cleared, a massive toad stood in the middle of the battlefield, a giant sword slung across its back and a pipe in its mouth. The toad's eyes narrowed as it recognized the summoner.

"You again?!" Gamabunta grumbled. "What is it this time, brat?"

"Boss Toad, it's that stinky raccoon over there!" Naruto exclaimed, pointing at the rampaging One-Tailed Shukaku.

Gamabunta let out a long sigh, puffing out a ring of smoke. "Thirteen years ago, I was summoned to fight a tailed beast. Now, it's happening again. Some things never change."

Minato, observing from the shadows, frowned. His presence in this world had triggered a butterfly effect. In his past life, watching the anime, he remembered Naruto fighting Shukaku alone in the Forest of Death. But now, the leading Konoha teachers had all gathered to confront the One-Tail. And Orochimaru had moved far sooner than expected.

"I can't just rely on my knowledge of the original plot," Minato thought. "Things are already shifting. If I want control, I need to take action myself." He also needed to find a good place to sign in and gain more rewards to strengthen himself.

Back on the battlefield, Gamabunta scowled. "Naruto, you little brat! Do you have any idea what you've gotten me into? You think I can just take on a tailed beast for fun?!"

"You've got Kakashi and the others here, don't you?" Naruto shot back.

Besides, he thought to himself, **my dad is watching from the shadows.** If the Fourth Hokage could one-shot the Nine-Tails with his **Flying Thunder God**, the weakest tailed beast shouldn't be a problem at all.

Gamabunta glanced at Kakashi and the other Konoha shinobi. With a disgruntled snort, he dropped the argument. But his grip on his sword tightened as he focused on the looming One-Tail.

Suddenly, Shukaku's stomach expanded at an alarming rate.

"Wind Release: Air Bullet!"

A massive blast of compressed air erupted from Shukaku's mouth. The sheer force of the attack created a shockwave that tore through the battlefield. The four-meter-wide projectile rocketed toward Gamabunta.

Gamabunta's eyes widened. **Too fast! No time to dodge!**

Gritting his teeth, he raised his massive sword, positioning it defensively.

The explosion shook the entire battlefield. A massive crater formed where the attack struck, annihilating the dense forest. Kakashi and the other shinobi had barely escaped in time.

Naruto gasped, his heart pounding. **That was way too close!**

He had almost tapped into the **Nine-Tails' power** in desperation. But when he looked up, he saw something strange—a **huge crater**, but not where the attack should have hit.

"Huh?" Naruto blinked. **Did Bunta miscalculate the impact? No way… The attack was aimed directly at us.**

A voice suddenly called out, teasing yet calm.

"Bunta, have you gotten slower? That's not like you."

Gamabunta stiffened. That voice… it was familiar.

Slowly, he turned his massive head upward.

There, standing casually atop his head, was a man with golden-blond hair and piercing blue eyes.

A man who should have been dead.

"Minato?!" Gamabunta's body locked up in shock. Then, his huge eyes bulged in horror.

"What the hell?! Are you a **ghost** or something?!"
