Starting Off By Confessing To My Classmate's Mother

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Let Me Drink for You, Aunt Rao

As the car door closed and the cool air conditioning hit his face, Li Zhiyan felt a wave of comfort wash over him.

"Aunt Rao, I've never been to your house before," he remarked, his tone filled with curiosity.

He couldn't help but feel intrigued by the idea of seeing Rao Shiyun's home—especially her bedroom.

"If you're that curious, I'll take you to my house now," Rao Shiyun replied with a smile, glancing at him briefly. "But first, fasten your seatbelt."

As she drove, she stole glances at Li Zhiyan. The more she looked at him, the more she found herself growing fond of this young man.

Back at the internet café, Wang Xinyue sat down beside Li Shiyu, her tone a mix of curiosity and surprise.

"Li Shiyu, do you know something? Is that Audi A6 really from Li Zhiyan's family?"

Once, Wang Xinyue had been his untouchable crush. Now, Li Shiyu felt nothing. Flat as a board, he thought dismissively. Not like the real deal at the massage center.

"Of course, that's his family's car," he said, throwing in a casual boast. "And guess what? During the summer, Zhiyan earned over ten grand."

Hearing this, Wang Xinyue's eyes widened in awe. Ten grand in a summer? Her imagination ran wild, picturing him running a family business.

When they arrived at Rao Shiyun's home, Li Zhiyan stepped inside and began surveying his surroundings.

So, this is Liu Zifeng's house… He made a mental note to visit Liu Zifeng's hometown someday, just to fully understand his adversary.

As Rao Shiyun bent down to change into her slippers, he couldn't help but admire her curvaceous figure.

A woman with such an hourglass shape was captivating in every sense—her full hips were a sight to behold.

"Aunt Rao, your house is really spacious," he complimented, his tone genuine.

Rao Shiyun walked over to the water dispenser, pouring him a glass of chilled mineral water.

"Feel free to sit down. Once it's time, I'll take you to the dinner party," she said warmly.

"Aunt Rao, where's your room?"

Hearing this, Rao Shiyun froze momentarily, her thoughts wandering into unfamiliar territory. This kid, refusing to call me his godmother—is he trying to take things further?

She forced a smile and said, "My bedroom is the master suite. I'll show you around."

Leading him into her bedroom, she watched as his eyes scanned the space with open curiosity.

The first thing that caught his attention was the photo on her vanity—a picture of a younger Rao Shiyun.

"Aunt Rao, is this from when you were younger?"

"Yes, I was 23 at the time—just married," she said with a nostalgic sigh.

Li Zhiyan studied the photo intently. Though she wasn't as voluptuous back then, her beauty and elegance were undeniable.

"Is Uncle usually away?" he asked casually, noticing the absence of any male clothing or accessories in the room.

Rao Shiyun quickly moved to tidy up, discreetly tucking a large black bra into the wardrobe.

"We're divorced," she admitted. "It started as a legal maneuver to protect his company during a risky period. But we had some arguments afterward and never remarried. He's in Suzhou now, running his business.

"Though… he mentioned coming back after the New Year to sort things out."

Hearing this, Li Zhiyan's heart tightened. Remarry? No way. Not before I've had a chance to make my move.

"What a shame," he said, feigning regret.

Sitting at her vanity, Rao Shiyun gazed at her reflection, then at the younger version of herself in the photo.

"I've grown old," she murmured. "I'm nothing like I used to be."

"Aunt Rao, I think you're perfect as you are," he said, his voice firm. "You've grown more elegant and refined. And honestly, your figure now… it's unmatched."

His words made her smile despite herself. This boy… is he really just into older women? He seems so genuine.

---

That evening, the two arrived at the Phoenix Hotel and made their way to the luxurious private room 999.

The first person to greet them was none other than Li Meifeng.

"Zhiyan, you're here too! Come, sit down," she said enthusiastically. Then, turning to Rao Shiyun, she added with a teasing smile, "You two must have such a close bond. I bet you've been feeding him yourself, haven't you, Shiyun? With you as his godmother, I'm sure he's never gone hungry!"

Rao Shiyun clenched her fists slightly. This woman… can't she ever control herself?

"Don't say such nonsense," she snapped. "Especially not in front of the kids."

As they settled into their seats, Li Zhiyan caught sight of a familiar face: Liu Huan.

His expression darkened. Liu Huan was already eyeing him with disdain.

Liu Huan had planned to get Rao Shiyun drunk tonight and take advantage of her. Seeing Li Zhiyan here again was a blow to his plans.

But no matter, Liu Huan thought. He's just a kid. I'll get him drunk and out of the way in no time.

Raising his glass, Liu Huan stood up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce Ms. Rao, our esteemed guest tonight. Her company is a powerhouse in the industry. Let's all toast to future collaborations."

He downed his glass of Maotai in one go, setting the tone for the evening.

Rao Shiyun felt a pang of unease. He's targeting me, she realized. But on a dinner table like this, refusing a toast was a major faux pas.

She smiled and followed suit, draining her glass. The fiery liquid hit her throat hard.

One by one, others at the table began to toast her as well.

Just then, the door opened, and a woman in high heels entered.

It was Liu Huan's wife, Wang Shangyan.

Her wavy hair framed a sharp, commanding face. The moment she stepped into the room, her presence was palpable.

"Dear, what brings you here?" Liu Huan asked, his voice tinged with surprise.

"I heard about the gathering and thought I'd join," Wang Shangyan replied casually, her sharp eyes scanning the room. When she saw Rao Shiyun holding a drink, her suspicions were confirmed.

Smiling politely, she took a seat beside Li Zhiyan.

Meanwhile, Liu Huan panicked. His wife's unexpected arrival threatened to derail everything.

"Ms. Rao," a man with a beer belly said, raising his glass. "I'm Mr. Sun. My company has several projects we could collaborate on. Shall we drink to that?"

Rao Shiyun hesitated. This was escalating too quickly. If she kept drinking, she'd inevitably lose control.

"Let me drink for you, Aunt Rao," Li Zhiyan said, grabbing her delicate hand.

His sudden offer took her by surprise, filling her heart with gratitude.

What a good kid, she thought. If only he were my son.
