Star Wars: Scion Of The Sun

Chapter 39: Chapter 37: Message Recieved

Making my ways towards the Jedi Temple I walked with a spring in my time.

For right now nothing can get me down.

I am a Jedi Knight, Yennali and I are now in a relationship, and with my new rank I might finally be able to access the information Nomicron has locked away.

Yep, nothing can ruin this day.

Passing the guards I made my way into the temple.

The ones on duty completely ignoring.

Since for the past two years I have basically been living outside the temple.

Everyone knows this of course, but after reprimanding me a few times, and seeing I wasn't going to listen to their words, the ones in charge gave up and let me so as I pleased.

It also helped I had Dooku's support.

As well Komari's.

Who I hear through rumors around the temple is close to being given the rank of Jedi master.

Good for her, she deserves it.

Oh and I know it seems quick for Komari to become a master after only a few years as a knight, but really it's not.

I mean in the original story Obi-Wan was granted the title of master after only a decade as a knight, and given a seat on the high council so yeah.

It all depends.

Walking through the halls of the temple I made my way towards my destination.

Ignoring all the stares I was getting and the whispers being spoken about me as I did.

But I am not surprised by any of this.

Considering my family, who my Jedi master was, and the fact I just made knighthood it's no wonder people are talking about me.

I continued walking but then stopped when I felt an intense gaze on me.

Turning around I saw Sardoth glaring at me.

I wonder how far he has fallen into the dark side by now?

Probably not very far considering he's stil allowed go roam the Jedi Temple freely.

But the moment he goes past the point of no return I'll be there to end him.

Deciding to have a little fun I walked over to Sardoth. "Yes, is there something I can help you with, Padawan ?" I asked. A smirk on my face.

I could feel Sardoth's anger spiking, but surprisingly he quickly pushed those feelings down.

"No, nothing sir." Sardoth gritted out.

"Really, because you were staring at me pretty hard. Are you sure I can't help you with anything Padawan ?" I asked once more.

Enjoying the he'll out of myself.

"Once again, no sir." Sardoth spoke.

"Alright then. Have a good day." I said.

I then walked off.

The spring in my step having gotten even bigger.

-----------------

Reaching the training room I contacted my master to meet me in I entered it.

Finding not only him with Nomi's holocron but also Komari as well.

"Oh hey Komari, wasn't expecting to see you here." I said.

"Yeah well when I ran into our now former joint master and he told me what you two were up to I decided to invite myself. Just in case you two needed any back up. Like that time on Illoh when I had to come in and save your butts." Komari stated.

"Hey, who knew those Zeltron females were the assassins we were looking for?" I asked.

"Ahem." Dooku faked cough. "Not to ruin your reminiscing of events, but let us get down to business." He spoke.

Komari and I both nodded at his words.

Once we did Dooku placed the holocron in the center of the room and opened it.

Nomicron then appeared.

"Oh Van, good to see you again." She said. "And you as well master Dooku. I also see we have a new face here."

"Komari Vosa. Senior apprentice to Van, another of Dooku's Padawans, and Jedi Knight soon fo be Jedi master." Komari said with a hint of pride.

"I see. Nice to meet you then Komari." Nomicron told her. "So, what can I help you all with today?"

"I wanted to speak with you to see if you would finally allow me th know the hidden information you possess. For just yesterday I passed the trials of Knighthood and obtained the rank of Jedi Knight within the order." I explained to Nomicron.

A second after I did so she got a blank look in her eyes and then spoke in the same robotic voice she did so all those years ago when we first met.

"Van Sunrider, current rank allows access to information. Now unlocking information." Nomicron spoke.

Then a few seconds passed before her blank look disappeared.

But right after it did so Holocron's form flickered and changed. Being replaced by a much older version of her.

Dooku, Komari, and I soon found ourselves looking at an ancient Nomi Sunrider.

Her once Auburn colored hair pure white, and her attire loose Jedi robes.

Yet despite her advanced age there was a burning look in here eyes.

"Hello Van." She began. "Don't speak and don't ask me any questions, for this is simply a message and nothing more. Now then, first off I want to say I was at first very conflicted about the actions you and your comrades are taking. How do I know of this you ask? Well the Force of course. One day it showed me visisons of the future. Not everything mind you but it showed me enough to get a pretty clear picture and after meditating on those visions for a long time I came to the conclusions I needed to aid you. For the path you have chosen, while dangerous, is ultimately what is best for the Jedi Order and future of all Jedi. To that end I have left a gift that will help you accomplish your goals. It is located at the place where I myself took the order in a new direction. I am sure you know what I mean. Anyway, that's all I had to say. This message will automatically delete itself from the holocron, since risking anyone else learning of it will have consequences as I'm sure you realize. So with that goodbye Van Sunrider. My descendant. And know that I am proud of you."

Once Nomicron did so her appearance flickered and changed back to normal.

Dooku, Komari, and I standing there in utter and complete silence.

For I did not expect that.

But to think that Nomi Sunrider is in full support of me and my actions is just...

I am at a loss for words.

"Wow." Komari said. Breaking the silence. "That was just..." She trailed off.

"Yes, most unexpected." Dooku added.

"Yeah." I replied. "But now I know what I have to do."

I have to head to the place Nomi talked about in her message.

The place where she herself changed the direction of the Jedi and the Jedi Order as a whole.

Exis Station.

I got her message loud and clear.
