Star Citizen Online: Isekai Edition

Chapter 159: Advancing the Warrior Path (1)

Six months was a considerably long time for the absence from the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy for the regular students. Yet for the members of the Special Course Class, it really wasn't due to their privilege.

Many members of the Special Course Class needed to take a long absence from the Academy for one reason or another. For that reason, Headmaster Kane was often taking prolonged leave from the Academy.

Most people who were in the Special Course Class had their specific needs, some had other duties within the Imperium, some had to attend very specialized forms of training that couldn't be carried out at the Academy, and some had other things to do that were deemed necessary enough to grant them a set of privileges.

Soon enough, all three of them received their absence leaves signed personally by the Headmaster Nathril El-Amini Kane, and they departed from the office of the Headmaster of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy.

Since this had already been done, the reports were submitted, and they had already received their absence leaves. The sole thing that needed to be handled was meeting with the Executives of Starlight Drive Yard Industries, which Zehal managed to arrange for them.

This was the great advantage of having Zehal in the company, because she had the most extensive connection ot the business circle out of all. Just her presence alone could make the Voidfuse Company into a profit, and if she put some serious effort, then they would be very remarkable people.

And rather quickly at that, please.

They needed quick growth and quickly assemble money for further expansion, and fortunately enough, Zehal deemed the Dark Matter Energy Generator to be suitable for sale in the Imperial Territory.

Even though the Eternal Empire of the Asurya was using more advanced technology for their state-of-the-art warships and warships of the higher categories, that wasn't true for the rest of the Imperium.

Various branches of the Imperial Government, civilians, Nobles, and Mercantile Clans, in fact, didn't have acess to better Energy Generators than the Dark Matter Energy Generator that they had created at the Voidfuse Company.

In terms of the power output, the Red Queen Series was superior to them... which meant that there was huge potential on the market. And this wasn't even talking about the profit from the Mid-Level Civilizations and Mid-Level Star Nations.

Arcturus and Zehal debated on this topic for some time already and decided that they should start simultaneously releasing some products on the Imperial Market. Not only to capture some part of the market and build their brand within the Imperial Territory, but also to start building up their influence.

That would do them good in the long run.

Right now, they would still be focusing on the expansion into the markets of the Mid-Level Civilizations and Mid-Level Star Nations because it was much easier to gather resources from them.

The sooner they started building their influence within the Imperium, the better it would be for them in the long term. Fortunately for them, even with the current Imperial Technology, there was a lot of space to sell their Red Queen Energy Generators across the Imperium.

Aside from the private spaceships and other sorts of things, the other prime target was developing colonies that were not of strategic importance to the Imperium, which meant that they were not supplied with the most advanced technology that the Imperium could provide.

Because it wasn't a priority.

Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, Celestara, Phoenix Prime, Several Days Later

For the past few days, Arcturus, like Zehal and Jeniael, spent most of his time in the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy either by attending the courses on Psionics and advanced Psionic Energy Control and Psionic Skills or training.

He was preparing to inject himself with the Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum that he had bought with the Academy Points. The Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum that he bought from the Academy cost him around 20,000 Academy Points, because it was the highest-grade Physique Strengthening Serum.

Something that couldn't be really bought outside of the Imperial Military or the Academy, though sometimes a few synergies of various grades were sold in the Auction Houses in the Imperium from time to time.

Just the price was...

Usually outrageous and far above its real value.

It was mainly bought by the very rich Mercantile Clans or the Bloodline Ariostocratic Noble Lineage Houses for their members who were not serving within the state or just had too much money for their own good.

He really didn't have many millions for some random Physique Strengthening Serum like those rich people in the Imperium. The Physique Strengthening Serum that he bought and used previously was nowhere near close to the thing that he was holding in his hands right now.

"Well... let's get started... I need to elevate my physique to the Beta-Grade before departing to the Wildstar Star Region and reaching the Planet Aquamarine."

Arcturus muttered quietly as he injected himself with the Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum into his neck, and he felt the content of the synergy flow into his bloodstream.

The content of the Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum was being distributed through his body by the nanites in his body, Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants, which were handling the rest of the thing.

Suddenly, he felt overcome by tremendous pain, which was spiking high and low in various intervals, as his entire body was being strengthened. Fortunately, due to the quality of the Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum, the process wasn't as painful as previously.

The Physique Strengthening Serums of the highest quality contained a much higher amount of energy, and they were designed to increase the physical dimensions of the user much higher than the Physique Strengthening Serums.

Even previously, Arcturus was strong enough to lift up several tons with relative ease, but right now, his physical strength was being strengthened to more than ten tons, and it wasn't stopping.

Not to mention, his entire body was being strengthened to the point where he could shrug off projectile weapons like assault rifles. His skin was dense and tough enough that it wouldn't be cut by any ordinary blunt weapon made from common materials, and it was not strengthened by the Psionic Energy or Psyker Ability.

The entire process was much smoother than when he advanced to the Delta-Grade, which was a great bonus, and it seemed that the price of the Gamma-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum of the highest quality was really worth it.

According to his modest calculations that he did on himself after he reached the Gamma-Grade Warrior, he was approximately 30% stronger than the average strength of the Gamma-Grade Warrior.

Though that was just a vague estimation.

For example, average Gamma-Grade general human was physically much weaker than Gamma-Grade Votann, while the Gamma-Grade Asuryani Human was around 25% weaker than Gamma-Grade Votann.

Everything depended on the various factors and circumstances.

"I need to adapt to my new strength and assimilate all the benefits from reaching the Gamma-Grade Warrior... that should take a few weeks, and then I can repeat the entire process with the Beta-Grade Physique Strengthening Serum."

They would be leaving the planet after they all achieved their breakthroughs in the Path of Warrior, as that was for all of them the shortest way to gain power, aside from Jeniael, who was taking the Body Refining Warrior Path.
