Because of the high starting price, the ones who joined the bid were those who were confident enough to win the bid or were just trying their luck. Regardless of that, the Starlight Auction House used a few dozen people to retrieve and check people's bids.

After a few minutes, the auctioneer announced with a smile. "The first round's winner is the young master from the VVIP room 5. Congratulations on your first win! I hope you will continue to win until the third round."

"Big Brother Cain, why is it us that won the bid? I don't remember anyone entering the room." Ayla asked Cain curiously.

"Well, let's say that the Ice Dragon's blood essence is already mine. That's why no matter what the other person's bid, they wouldn't win it." Cain explained.

"Isn't that the same as cheating?" Ayla asked again while pulling Little White's tail, as this was her turn to play with him because she and Sylvia had been changing turns to play with Little White this whole time.

"Of course. That's why Ayla needs to be careful and not tell the others about it, okay?" Cain chuckled in response.

Ayla immediately understood the assignment and gave a thumbs up to Yuchen. "Don't worry, Ayla is a tight-lipped person."

Everyone laughed when they heard it because not only was she confidently saying that, but she also hugged Little White harshly to the point that he was struggling and resisted a little bit.

"Ayla, don't treat Little White harshly." Cain chuckled when he saw that Little White was looking at him as if to say, "Master, help me!"

"But I never treat him harshly!" Ayla pouted, puffing her cheek as she looked at Cain.

"Look at him, he was struggling a little bit because you hugged him too hard." Cain smiled.

Ayla then lifted Little White high up and asked him with a frown. "Little White, did I treat you harshly?"

Woof!

Little White barked and shook his head when he looked at the little miss, who asked him while frowning.

"See? I didn't treat Little White badly!" Ayla pouted unhappily, puffing out her cheeks.

"Ayla, even if he did say that, you didn't need such affirmation to understand the other's feelings." Cain said with a smile as he waved at Ayla. "Come here."

Cain then lifted up Ayla and put her on his lap. "For example, if I were a bad guy and treated you harshly from the start. Do you even dare to complain if I treated you badly and upset you? No, right?"

Ayla thought for a second as she put up her fingers on her chin before nodding with a scared expression.

"That's what Little White felt. He also didn't dare to complain and could only comply because you're my little sister. Do you understand now?" Cain ruffled her hair softly as he tried to

"Hmmm-hmmm." Ayla nodded her head seriously and looked at Little White in her arms.

"I'm sorry, Little White." Ayla petted Little White softly with a sad expression.

After they chatted for a bit, the auctioneer announced the second round winner.

"The second round's winner this time is also the same. Congratulations on your second win!" The auctioneer declared the winner and paused for a moment before continuing.

"If you have any doubts why he won twice in a row, let me tell you that even the difference between the first and second is very large. I can tell you that much so that this auction will become more interesting because if I didn't tell you and you only raised the bid by not much, I guarantee you that you wouldn't even have the chance. That's all."

She then bowed apologetically towards the VVIP-5 room. "I apologize for that just now, young master. I hope you'll forgive me."

"Hmmph!" Cain snorted in response as he nodded at the auctioneer, thinking that she was really smart in controlling the audience.

After the auctioneer said that the difference between the second and first was massive, everyone immediately made a speculation if Cain would raise his stake since his amount had been revealed a little bit.

This time, the people who continued their bids were finally going all out since this was their last attempt to win the Ice Dragon's blood essence.

Unfortunately for everyone, Cain still won the third as the winner had already been staged, and this bid was just for a gimmick.

After the auction ends, Cain and the others leave the auction, heading towards his inn to have a rest early since tomorrow should be such a long day for him.

Because he forced his subordinates to speed up his coronation to tomorrow, as he was really busy and just wanted to speed things up.

Not only that, he also needed to deal with unnecessary things such as the war with the Slegia Kingdom that would waste a lot of his time if he didn't deal with it quickly.

However, when Cain's group was heading towards the inn, he noticed that there were additional people in his group since Yuchen and Arion were also tagging along.

"Why are you two also following us?" Cain asked as he looked over to Yuchen and Arion.

"Uh—uh…" Yuchen blushed, twitching her hands for a moment before nudging the old man beside her. "Old Feng said that he wanted to have a drink with Sir Fenix. That's why I'm tagging along since there is no one else who could protect me except for him."

Old Feng could only scratch his head and look at Cain with an apologetic expression.

"What about you?" Cain glanced at Arion, who walked leisurely beside Garran.

"Me? I'm following Garran wherever he goes." Arion shrugged nonchalantly since he was confident that Cain wouldn't be able to drive Garran away.

"What? Arion, you bastard! You always never allow me to follow you and vanish like a rat every time I see you. How dare you use me as a scapegoat!" Garran kicked to the side but could only kick nothing but air, as Arion's speed was extremely fast, and it wasn't like Garran also intended to kick him for real.

Sigh!

"Whatever. As long as you wouldn't hinder me, I don't really care anyway." Cain sighed and waved his hand.

'Now that there are more people, it seems that I really need to rest for today and couldn't play—I meant to help Elara to become stronger.' Cain thought to himself, shaking his head softly.

Subsequently, they went to the inn, and Cain booked a few more rooms before asking everyone to have a rest early because tomorrow they would also leave early.

However, instead of immediately resting and sleeping, the little girls were playing around with Little White and Nix.

"Ayla, Sylvia. Go sleep! Tomorrow we need to wake up early." Cain reminded them with a smile.

"Let us play a little bit more, pweasse?" Ayla looked at Cain with a cute, begging look as if she would cry if Cain declined her request.

Fortunately, Cain already had an immunity towards something like this since he had seen it many times.

Hence, he replied with a serious, unwavering voice. "Okay, but only for 5 minutes."

"What about half an hour?" Ayla puffed her cheek in dissatisfaction as she nudged Sylvia, giving her a code.

Sylvia actually also wanted to play more, but at the same time, she didn't want to disobey Cain. However, since Ayla asked her for help, she decided to help her this once as their interest was the same.

"True! Give us more time before we sleep, Big Brother Cain." Sylvia also looked at Cain with a sad, pleading look.

"10 minutes. No more negotiations!" Cain replied calmly.

"Pweassse?!" Ayla begged with a sad expression as her tears were almost out of her eyes.

Sigh!

Cain sighed before speaking with a serious expression and went inside his room. "Fine, you have 15 minutes. If I still see both of you in the living room after 15 minutes, I will leave both of you here tomorrow and pick you up next week!"

When the sun had risen from the east, Cain woke up and looked at the clock, which showed 05.30pm.

After taking a hot shower, he got out of her room and saw no one. He then scanned the inn and found out that most of them had been awake and only two people were still inside their room.

Subsequently, he opened a room slowly and looked at the two little girls who were cuddling each other, and between them were Nix and Little White.

The little girls were obviously still sleeping, as Cain guessed that they were probably too tired because yesterday they were the most active people in his group and should've spent too much energy for their little bodies.

As Cain didn't want to disturb the little girls, he closed the door and decided to have breakfast with the others as he detected that almost all of them had gathered at the inn.

"Cain, here!" Garran shouted as he waved his hand at him.

An hour later, Cain and the others left the inn and directly left the city as they headed towards Elarion Kingdom, more precisely towards Eldoria City.

Meanwhile, in Eldoria City, there were huge commotions everywhere within the city as everyone was shocked when they heard that the youngest prince was going to have his coronation and officially become the king today.
