Spider-Man Mayhem

[Third Person's PoV] 

"Damn I'm good," Felicia said smugly, "Can I even be stopped now?"

"Felicia…" Peter called out to her slowly in a warning tone. 

Felicia raised her hands in mock surrender, "I'm just joking. I know, I know, I can't be too overconfident" 

"Good" Peter nodded before turning towards MJ, "Now for you little red…" Peter said before he began listing her abilities like she did for Felicia. 

"Just like cat over here, your basic abilities have all been doubled, your strength, speed, agility, endurance, equilibrium, etc… Now the thing that's been most upgraded has been your mental fortitude, for example you've developed a edict memory, your processing speed has increased, basically all of your cognitive abilities have been upgraded" 

Peter paused before he continued, "Let's start with your unique abilities first before delving into anything else. It appears that your influence over spiders and their control has increased and gone to a deeper level. You are now able to see, hear, and sense what they do. The range from which you are able to control and command spiders has also increased, it's not far to say that the entire City of New York is now under your surveillance." 

MJ was sitting on the ground flapping her legs up and down as she grinned proudly 

"What's even crazier is that you're able to see and hear what We do as well. Honestly you're quite scary when you really think about it." Peter smiled, "Well I suppose we're lucky you were the one that ended up with these powers and not someone else… Or was it Luck… Who knows" Peter said mysteriously. 

"Now for your other spider's abilities… You've actually gained bone claws or spikes in this matter along with fangs, the bone spikes coming out of both your elbows and knees, which are kinda weird, Not gonna lie" Peter chuckled only for MJ to pout. 

"Great, now I'm going to be self-conscious about my knees and elbows," She muttered. 

"I would worry about that if I were you, you have beautiful knees and elbows" Peter nodded in reassurances. 

"Phttt, thanks I suppose" MJ said chuckling, "hehehe, I don't think anyways knees and elbows have been complimented before" 

"Now what you are able to do with these bone spikes and fangs is what's scary… instead of injecting someone with poison or siphoning their good luck like Felicia, you are able to absorb and drain them of their will power, it could get to the point where you are able to actually drain someone's will to live and drive them straight to suicide" 

MJ had a scared expression, "I would never do that! Just so we're clear" 

"I know, I know, don't worry. I'm not saying you're going to all I'm stating is the true potential of your powers" Peter said in a reassuring manner, "Like for example, I'm quite literally able to siphon someone's life force straight from their bodies and feed myself with it until they are left as a lifeless husk. It doesn't mean I'm gonna but I'm able to, and like Gwen who's able to siphoned someone's body heat until they turn cold and brittle enough to shatter" 

"Jesus Christ" Lizzy muttered hearing the potential dangers Peter and Others are able to do, 'We are all freaking fortunate that Peter and others are the good guys. I wouldn't even want to think what it would be like if Peter was our enemy' Lizzy thought warily.

Hearing that they were all able to do was just as dangerous MJ felt much better and let out a sigh of relief. 

"Now for your organic webbings… Before you were only able to control spiders, however thanks to your Psionic-chi your Organic webbing has been evolved and transformed so that it allows you to take over another person's mind. You are quite literally forming a link between you and someone else. It's like having someone be trapped in your spider web and having control of everything you do as Lizzy had described" 

Everyone had a vague picture of someone trapped in a spider web and having a giant version of MJ stand behind them watching them squirm and escape her control all the while she had a sadistic expression as if enjoying watching them squirm. Everyone suddenly had a shiver run down their spine causing them to shake their heads to get rid of the image. 

"Anyways" Peter said drawing everyone's attention back, "Now then, for your Spidey-senses… It is actually so funny that you are training and wanting to be a reporter. That's to your Spidey-senses and Psionic-chi coming together. you actually gained the power of Psychometry. Meaning you are able to read and detect an object's leftover psychic aura and obtain historical memories or sensations concerning beings and objects they observe. With objects, they gain knowledge including the makers, users, and even those who have in passing used the object, and what has been done with it. With living beings or parts of the body. Making you one hell of a reporter and detective. Although you did also gain a hint of Clairvoyance" 

 MJ snapped her fingers, "I'll be this world's greatest detective/reporter!" She declared smugly. 

Peter chuckled, "Continuing on, your invisible and wall climbing powers have an increase of strength. While your Psionic-chi has grown in both Quality and Quantity" 

MJ nodded as she began to levitate off the ground and go spinning upside down, "Yup, and thanks to my training with the Ancient One I'm now actually able to fly and gain telekinesis as well" she said as she floated back down with a smug expression. 

"And you call yourself the weakest," Felicia scoffed. 

MJ rolled her eyes, "I was talking about Physical Strength," 

Lizzy then raised her hand, "Oh, me next!" She exclaimed. 

Gwen was the one that stepped up and began to explain Lizzy's upgrades, "Well First of all I should say, congratulations the X-Gene in your body had involve to the point where if before you didn't possess Self-power Immunity, now you do" 

"Yes!" Lizzy pumped her first excitedly, "Now that means i won't run the risk of developing cancer when using my own powers!" 

"Thanks to the SSS you gained, your body has naturally been enhanced making you stronger, faster, more agile, however that isn't the only thing that has been enhanced. Now your X-Gene has strengthened to the point you've actually gained new abilities and powers thanks to them. Like your natural flames and heat which would burn hotter, reaching plasma-level temperatures, making them capable of melting even the toughest materials.

Your control of these flames have also seem to increase, it comes off more naturally to you it would seem. Which also means you are able to create semi constructs with them as well." 

Lizzy made a heart with her hands and from the shape a fire heart rushed out of her hand before it dissipated, "Hehehe" 

"You also seem to have developed a limited energy absorption, but that's mostly related to heat, but that's not to say that it's not powerful as it seems you are now also able to absorb solar energy empowering yourself increasing your strength and durability." 

"I'm practically superman!" Lizzy exclaimed happily. 

"Remember, I said limited, there's only so much energy your body will be able to handle, if you absorb too much your body might start to break down" Gwen warned her making Lizzy freeze. 

"However you also gained a regenerative factor thanks to this. Meaning you are able to use your stored energy to heal yourself." 

"Now that is something I'm really thankful for, It always bothered me how long it would take me to recuperate" Lizzy sighed gratefully

"And Finally apart from self-power Immunity, you also gain a fire Immunity, which would make you completely immune to heat and fire, including the flames she generates. This would allow her to fight in extreme environments, like volcanic zones and not to mention… The Vacuum of Space" 

"I WOULD BE ABLE TO TRAVEL THROUGH SPACE!" Lizzy loudly exclaimed with stars in her eyes, "WOOOOHOOOO!" 

As they all finished their discussion about their upgrades Peter then called out to Aria, "Aria, call for a code blue… It's time to share with everyone what you have found during your investigation" 

"Aye, Aye, Father!" Aria responded excitedly as she wanted to share what she found, their watches suddenly gained a blue glow.
