After preparing everything for the night, the group was dividing their tasks again.

Kaori, Shea and Remia were preparing dinner, while Yue was creating a barrier so they wouldn't be disturbed during the night and Shizuku was entertaining Myu.

Tio was searching the area for supplies while Cloud was trying to communicate with Rika and the Haulia tribe, though the closer they got to Raisen, the greater the magical interference became.

"Have you been able to make contact, Cloud?" - Tio asked as she returned with a huge boar over her shoulder.

"No ~! Pumba-chan ~!" - Kaori exclaimed as the others gave her a blank stare - "Sorry, I was just trying to make a joke..."

"Kaori, no..." - Shizuku said as Myu gave the silver-haired girl a confused look - "What's a Pumba-chan?"

"Oh, it's a character from a somewhat old movie" - Kaori replied as she called Myu over to tell her the story of the [Lion King].

"Kaori-san's bad jokes aside, you came at a good time, Tio-san" - Remia said as she took the boar without much trouble. With the awakening of her draconic blood, her physical abilities had exploded and now taking things as heavy as this giant boar, was of utmost ease for her.

"What do you plan to do with the boar?" - Tio asked curiously.

"Oh, I'm going to prepare a dish that Kaori-san taught me, it's called Tonkatsu" - Remia replied with a huge smile - "And the size is perfect for us all to eat without fear that we'll run out of food."

"I'm sorry" - muttered Shea with a red face.

"You don't have to apologize, sweetie, you're not the only one who eats like a sea monster" - Remia replied as she looked at Tio, Cloud, and finally Kaori, who at least had the decency to blush in embarrassment

"In our defense, as dragons, we have to consume a huge amount of nutrients to maintain our bodies or we might start suffering from mana deficiency" - replied Tio as she folded her arms underneath her breasts, further highlighting the size of her glorious mountains

"She's right, besides, our insides are like a mana forge that uses the foods we consume as fuel" - Cloud added calmly - "That's why if we don't eat right, our bodies can run out of the fuel to make the mana flow normally"

Shea tried to say something else, when he heard Yue's voice telling him to let it go.

Tio quickly looked around in search of answers because the rabbit girl's words had left her confused - "Am I acting strange?"

"No" - that was a response from everyone in the group, even Myu, who was attentively following Kaori's story.

"Am I the only weird one here?" - Shea muttered as she looked at Cloud, who was walking towards the forest so he could try to talk to Rika and the others. She quickly ran after him to ask him about it, because she honestly wasn't too comfortable with the idea that everyone was fine with Tio's weird attitude.

"Do you need anything, Shea?" - Cloud asked in surprise as he raised an eyebrow as he watched Shea run after him.

Shea quickly explained the situation, only to see Cloud start to laugh.

"Did I say something funny?" - Shea asked, confused at the situation.

"No, it's nothing" - Cloud answered with a small smile - "You don't have to worry, she's acting normal, at least for someone of our race, that's why the others are acting as if nothing."

"Wait, that doesn't make sense" - Shea said with a frown - "How come all the others knew about this and I didn't?"

"Didn't they tell you? They even had a meeting" - Cloud replied as he raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" - Shea repeated with even more confusion - "When was that meeting?"

Cloud thought for a few seconds and remembered what happened - "Oh, right, it was when we were alone in the forest."

"I-I see" - Shea replied with a blush on her cheeks, after all, they had been in the forest for quite a while.

"Well, now that we got that out of the way, I think it's time for me to continue trying to contact your family" - Cloud said calmly.

"May I join you?" - Shea asked as she sat down next to the blond - "I don't have anything to do anymore, not to mention that I'm still a little confused by Tio-san's expression."

"Sure" - nodded Cloud as the two sat down in front of the sphere and waited a few seconds without a response - "I guess this was kind of obvious."

"I still can't get contact with Cloud?" - Rika muttered with a frown because this situation was not good.

It had only been a few hours since they parted ways, and the situation had gone to shit.

"They haven't found them?" - Rika asked with a frown.

"Sorry, we have no indication of the possible location of those adventurers" - one of the heroes replied as the others in the group frowned.

After Cloud and his group left, countless adventurers had begun to disappear without a trace.

"Is there some kind of connection between them?" - Rika asked with a frown.

"They all had huge magical reserves" - replied the first boy as the others frowned.

"Just that?" - Rika asked with a frown before getting to thinking - "Why would the person responsible for these abductions wish to seek out people with enormous magical power?"

"Maybe some sort of ritual?" - Another of the heroes asked as the others looked at each other, surprised that they hadn't thought of this possibility despite being in a magical world.

"You have a point, though I feel we need to do a little more research, as well as keep our mages protected so they don't suffer the same fate" - said Rika seriously.

"Ok!" - The heroes exclaimed as they went back to their business.

"Seriously, this is ridiculous" - muttered Rika with a frown, though her expression changed as she heard her orb begin to glow - "Yes?"

"Kam-san?" - Rika said in surprise - "Why are you contacting me?"

[We heard that Cloud-sama is addressing Raisen right now, that's why we can't contact him directly]

"Oh, that explains a few things, though I still can't understand about why you called me" - Rika replied with a frown.
