Ok. We calmed down after a while.

Right now we are inside what appears to be a small office with a big desk and two chairs. There are no windows or even a door. That's because it is a fabricated realm that supposedly I along with my husband were using to judge souls and decide what to do with them.

It appears that in this world I am also a goddess again.

But these days we were not doing it and just chilling around. That is because Aqua wanted to be useful and started doing that for us and Eris as a good sis went with her to help...

Wait. Is Aqua useful? What is this sorcery?!

"Get the anchor first just in case."

Oh right!

I took out the weird silver object that looked like an unpainted pokeball with a button in the middle. Right now it was flashing blue all the time.

After pushing the button, white glowing veins appeared on the surface. It lasted for a few seconds after which it dimmed down with the button changing color to green.

"I think it means that it worked."

The elf-like, annoying yet handsome entity said.

"No shit Sherlock! Were you sleeping when Aizen explained that?"

He didn't answer and just crossed his arms.

Then something weird happened.

As if it turned to dust a part of his face disappeared leaving just a skull in that area. It took part of his jaw and left eye while inside the eyesocet was just a glowing blue circle that acts like his pupil. We looked down and noticed that the same happened to his left arm.

"What the fuck is this?"

Is he becoming a skeleton? Why? This is bad! Will his dick disappear too?

Wait! What are you thinking Atsune! No horny! AAAAAAAHHH!

He looked at me in confusion as I grabbed my head covering my eyes while completely red.

Then I realised... He knew.

"But back to the main topic. I think it's due to our 'past' in this world. We are officially married so it seems that some memories that were jumbled in our heads are affecting us on some subconscious level."

Hm. Thats possible. It might be detrimental if the backstory that was just made up was weird or downright made us evil or something. On the other hand, we have no other way to stop it from happening other than not going anywhere so... let's ignore it and hope for the best.

"Hey. I have some fun ideas!"

"What are you up to again? Please not another weird and stupid idea of yours."

He smirked at me and nonchalantly continued.

"Not this time. How about we send a small part of our souls to that space between dimensions. That way we could potentially connect to another world other than this one and hopefully stabilize it."

Minmaxing is fine, but that is kinda dangerous.

"I don't think it's worth it. Even if the missing part would regenerate with some time, that would weaken us."

"And who do you want to fight here? A dullahan scared of water?"

Ok. You have a point. There is no one that strong around... Among the enemies, so I am not counting crimson demons, they are freaks of nature.

The knowledge about this world is convenient. I never heard of this world, to begin with, but I can recall a thing about it here and there.

"Ok. Just don't start doing bullshit around."

He just started laughing and took some small parts of our souls. It didn't hurt or anything. It just felt weird and then as if something was missing.

It didn't get past my attention that he had not promised to not cause problems, but I guess that was part of his charm. He always makes weird things that are essentially harmless.

Maybe that's his way of coping with being closed inside the sword. So that when he gets out by some means he starts making jokes and pranks to unwind or something. Although the most he had really done was tease me and do embarrassing things just to get a reaction out of me.

He used his hands and as if grabbing the air in front of him ripped a hole into the space between. Wait! Since when could he do that?!

I noticed the rift closing at a visible pace, so before it could close he threw the souls inside.

Now that this is done let's see what are our children up to. I activated a neat new ability that I gained after appearing here. The cool thing is that I can learn new things just by travelling between worlds.

Something happened to my eyes. I can't see the change of course, but now I can see through my realm and look at her place where she is talking and either reincarnating or sending souls away. She wasn't there so I looked to see what are the mortals doing.

It wasn't instantaneous. I spent some time getting used to it but was finally able to locate my daughter. One might ask how I could locate her across the whole world, but all I can say is that I can just feel her. I can feel the general area she is in.

Let's call it a mother's sense.

"Oh, so that's when we arrived."

His tone implies that he knows the future. I haven't even realised how used I got to it.

Back to stalking my daughter. She is inside a city with someone else, some guy. She is at this age after all, but why in the mortal realm? Is it some sort of romantic story about a goddess and a normal human?

And why are they working at the construction site?!

I looked at my husband who was laughing slightly and just said.

"Explain"

"So. As you already know this world is something like a combination of two worlds right? One is with humans without any powers etc while the other is full of magic. The guy here, his name is Kazuma, died in the powerless part and Aqua was gonna reincarnate him with a power of his choice."

I just nodded to let him know that I followed, but still, it didn't answer me why they were both there.

"She made him angry by making fun of his death and how it happened so as a revenge he chose her as what he will be taking with him."

So, he basically used a loophole that our... airhead... yes let's call her an airhead instead created to basically to force her to work for him...

"I am gonna kill him! He is gonna die permanently this time!"

I was grabbed from behind before I could just go there and off him.

"Let me go! I need to castrate him!"

"Calm down damn it."

It took a little bit, but I decided to listen to him.

"Ok. How did he die? I think it's important."

"Hehe... He wanted to save a girl who he thought was gonna be run over by a car."

I just stared blankly at him.

"And what is funny about it? It's actually admirable."

"Yeah very. It was actually a harmless traktor that was moving very slowly and the driver was an old man who was just gonna say hello to the girl."

Eh. Ok, it's ridicoulous. How did he die though?

"He died of shock and fear at the possibility. To be precise he got a heart attack. He even soiled his pants and everyone from the doctors to his own family were having fun and laughing at his funeral."

That's fucked up. It's more sad than funny.

He just stood there waiting for me to stop laughing at it and when I was done he said.

"Before we go to them it seems you forgot."

"Eh? About what?"

"Aqua too over our responsibility so now that she is gone and Eris is not free we weed to take care of the work until she can replace us..."

I looked scared at the desk filled to the brim with stacks of papers that were making the whole furniture creak under the weight.
